Classical music was his first love. He wrote like a classical composer. All on paper first, then hand it out to his band, then they played it. He self taught guitar because he said that’s what made money. The guy was a genius!

I can remember when I I seen Frank zapp and St Bernard Louisiana with came out and it and I knew when I seen Napoleon Murphy Brock and Anderson and test it test the Thompson and and moves Underwood and and the other Underwood on base and they put on a show that was just from salt to Phoenix State date is starting they didn't they didn't stop until they finished and a new from the way they changed up their their dad was more jazz and and and instrumentals and and more like a play and it was very very interesting and at the end of the concert people would just sitting there and it and the music stopped and he says well you can clap now if you want to and everybody went nuts it was one of the best concerts from this listening to his albums you know in the the directions that everybody had to take and that in the in the redirection of the music you know it was like no other and I'm proud of it you know what he did there and that's the last time I got to say about him you know God you know rest in peace yeah cuz you you surely are missed Gary bye

I have a theory that Czech people couldn't speak english, so they listened mainly to the music, which got them hooked. (It has it's benefits, like for example listening to tracks like "Keep it greasy" with your parents). Exploring texts and their meaning was a great bonus after that, especially since Czech sense of humor is very simmilar to Zappa's.

Great arrangement of an original masterpiece by Maestro Zappa. Many thanks to the orchestra for helping to keep his music alive. You know music is good when people are still playing it live when it was composed over 50 years ago and then given an orchestral arrangement, and well after the Maestro passed on to Music Heaven. His compositions have even been played by school bands and orchestras. It will live on. I miss Frank. His music, talent, wit and social commentary... and of course his humor. This brought me to tears. I hope he knows how much we love him, miss him and that his music is still played and revered by all who like good music, and that new generations are being introduced to his wonderful music.
