good on you for honouring Our ANZAC; Lest Ye Forget; Raise The Federal Red Ensign my friend; it is Our True Flag; you rode straight past my place; just up the road 200 metres from the 'ballarat bitter' sign over the old pub; thanks for taking me out of my lounge room and onto a bit of journey behind the bars; Stay Safe mate; Cheers
Thanks for the share Steve and I persivered till the end 😂. Currently own a DR650 and looking for that next bike now narrowed down to the Aprilia Tuareg 660 and AJP PR7. Love your getaway videos and alllllll for mental health is what we tell our wives!!! Keep these trips coming mate.....
Hi, yeah don't overthink my tyres too much but having said that have tried a few different tyres. Pretty settled on the Motoz Tractionator Rallz front and back. Seemed to have good all round grip, are quiet and wear quite well. What Bike do U have and tyres? Thanks for watching Regards Steve
Hi Steve. I have a 2011 Tenere, just like yours. Currently running knobbies. I'm doing a bit more on the road and find them a bit too agricultural. I'll look into the ones you run
Did you purchase the DMD direct from Thork or is there an Aust distributor. Purchase any additional accessories to go with it? What was the overall price if you are ok saying? Thanks
Hi Chris, I did buy it direct from Thork and it cost $1362 delivered. Be careful when you order it because it's over $1000 AUD you will cop the import duties and GST. I got mine sent out in two packages. This was for the tablet, cradle, sunshade and an AJP mounting bracket. Thank for watching Steve
@@dirtbikeadv wow..expensive stuff but it appears to have great mapping ability; and it works in the freezing cold; did you have to upload Aussie maps or does it read from the sky?
@@markhills3922 Hi Mark, yeah pretty expensive agreed. U have to download all the maps but the Focus maps they are designed to run on have pre loaded prompts so to speak. I then downloaded Hema and Explore Oz maps. Used up most of the memory but I have any situation covered. Hema and Explore Oz was for the fuel info and outback travels. Early days yet but I will review it from the perspective of a guy who hates tech Thanks for watching Regards Steve
Great vid, appreciate the view on the map. Great camping, and countryside, looking forward to the next one!

@@tconcrete6622 I run the Motoz Rallz on my 2010 Tenere. Good choice. My Pr7 I run the Motoz Enduro IT on the front.
