- EPIC "CHICKEN DANCES" IN BOXING
Watching a boxing match can produce an exhilarating and confusing experience at the same time. All it takes to change the course of a fight is a well-timed shot. Sometimes, this shot can cause a fighter to lose their ability to coordinate their movements resulting in funny “chicken dances.”
We’ve compiled some of the most epic dances for you to enjoy in this video.

Friends, we would like to do the second part, but there are not enough fights, we would like to ask you to help us and write fights in which there are chicken dances. Thank you all for your help !!!
You talk too much. Just show the clips. Seriously, your narration is very unnecessary.
You're really ignorant for posting something like this unsubscribed
Put cocky Adrien Broner chicken dance 2nd round vs Chino Maidana. Epic Fight !
Not sure about chicken dances but I always loved Irish Micky Ward's left hook to the liver knockouts/knockdowns because of the delayed reaction, like when he put "Thunder" Gatti (RIP) down in their second fight, I think.
hearns pueva was incredible too
Zab's "Which way he go?" chat is the funniest. 🤣😂🤣😂
Zab Judah's *chicken dance* belongs in the Hall of Fame.
The greatest chicken dance of all time. If anyone thinks different please post a link lol!
ahahaha
LOL
Hahaha 😅😅😅, Instead of Brother man staying put. standing on a spot , he wS more concerned with warning the Referee not to stop the fight- And Next thing was the DANCE and DIVE to the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Zab Judah- “Don’t ever play with matches” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bahaha Cedric joke!!!
Yeah we all saw Cedric the entertainer say it
@@shadowcreepa1who didn’t know Ced said that 23 year old joke 😒
Zab Judah went up and down like a new born giraffe 😂😂
while he did the chicken dance , he still was talking shit😆😆
@@joneri85 Lol! He was pointing his glove like he's saying "Yo! Let me tell you something!" In the Bogere fight it's the same referee. He's probably thinking, this dude was dancing like Zab.
Facts 😅😅😅
Judah was over-rated and the commentators talked him up too much. The vastly experienced Tzyu wasn't bothered by the featherweight punches and showmanship. Then bang, it was all over.
😆
The ironic thing about it is it's their fighting spirit that causes the dance. The shot (s) would normally put a person straight down, but a fighter's mentality to keep fighting causes the body to momentarily fight against itself, producing the dance. Ultimately, the brain wins out and the power to the legs is cut.
One of the all time dumbest things ever written in youtube
Correct.
Sounds like a Modelo commercial to me...
@@josephdoby6411 hahahaha
Its natural instinct. Not limited to just professional fighters.
The Zab Judah KO is the best of the bunch, made funnier by his cartoon hand movement, he's like "...and another thing" before banjaxing onto the floor
Lol
😂😂🤣🤣
Zab Juda has to be one of the most funniest ko’s I’ve ever seen. 😂😂😂
Poor but arrogant Zudah
This shows how much heart, instinct and mental toughness these dudes have.
The spirit was strong but the flesh was weak.
Exsctly
Exactly 💯. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
It shows why they'll have brain damage.
Can also be their undoing, too many fights have been allowed to carry on when should've been stopped sooner. Granted its hard to tell when a fighter is so hurt that he must stop or risk serious damage, but not showing it on the outside
Zab Judah has my vote for best chicken dance ever...
First 1 I always think of also then Trevor Berbick w/the bambi legs! Both look like video games finishes, lol!
Naw, Zab was doing the stanky leg 🦵 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yup
I don’t agree with you.
Think is RODOLFO 🙄🙄
Yep he did that stank leg and the running man at the same time haha.😀
Zab Judah looked at tha Referee and said "U hit me" 😂
Nein😂. Er hat ihm gesagt: "I’ll be back"
He said “ I didn’t want onions on my cheeseburger”
Lmao this had me dying 😂
"Yo ref, Imma hit the bathroom real quick!"
That’s actually what he said
Zab Juda looked at the ref and said I'm outta here 🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂
he got up quick

I remember my friends and I watching the Tyson-Berbick fight. A buddy of mine said "Tyson knocked him out three times with one punch." Still makes me laugh.
That's brilliant 😂😂
Zab Judah fall was unmatched! He was doing the Electric Slide 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Electric boogaloo!
The shuffle dance
and claimed he wasn't hurt.... 🤣😅😂
it was epic...thats what you get for lazy defense vs master technician like Kostya.
I was watching that fight live, I thought Judah was being a jerk and doing the chicken dance to be funny, the ref had a better view than I did and knew the rules better than I did, if you fall a second time without being hit again, the fight is over.
No doubt, Zab Judah chicken dance represents it all 😆
AMAZING HOW EVERYBODY LEGS WORK AFTER THE REF CALLS OFF THE FIGHT 🤣
Gotta give Berbick credit, he didn't know what planet he was on, but he was game to keep going.
Zab looked at ref like “gimee a bucket of chicken, two liter coke and biscuits” 🥴
😂
This is what Zab Judah has become famous, the chicken dance😂
getting famous at any cost

Zab judah's chicken dance is a masterpiece
"Never play with matches!"-Zab Judah
Zab Judah did the Ric Flair flop 🤣
😂
I do the 5:55 at every family function...yet nobody respects my "fighting spirit" ... they just call me an embarrassment 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
😂
Man, I feel bad for that Zab Judah guy
But that was too damn funny 💀😂
It's usually from shot to the side of the head. The brain bounces back and forth from side to side, hampering the motor cortex, while leaving the forebrain working pretty clearly. It's why it feels like you're fine but the body wants to have a dance-off with itself.
I didn't know that, thank you.
Judah tried to get up too quick his legs were not ready lol
The commentators singing the mariachi music when the Mexican boxer was performing his chicken dance was savage. That man might have kids. 😂😂😂
Mariachi music? GTFOH
You must have been impacted into hearing music that wasn’t there by the same punch.
I'm watching this with my daughter i laughed so hard and i was laughing for 3 reasons; my daughter's laugh, the commentators and the boxer's wobble
I'm still laughing at the commentators🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Put the crack pipe down.
That Zab Judah dance NEVA gets old!!! When he pointed though and tried to have a conversation!!! 😂😂😂😂😂🥊💯
@Carlos The Rocker nah, the ref saved his life
Zab is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!!! Told the judge.... "Don't ever play with matches" lol If you know you know...lol
It goes to say the zab judah had heart of a lion but needs to understand the bell doesnt count when you get hit like that great match to see again
Cedric the Entertainer. 😉👌🏾
Cedric The Entertainer's comedy bit on Zab Judah's knockout was a classic.
"I'm just gonna lay right over here..." 😂😂😂
Zab Judah told that ref “damn I didn’t know he was chill like that 🤙” and dropped 💀😂
He was like who was the other guy who hit me🤣🤣💀
and this is why you dont play with matches...u dont play with maaaatches....lol
😂😂😂😂
wow Manny's punch was so precise and devastating that Lucero's legs just said to the rest of the body 'ok boys pack it up, we're leaving right now'
🤣😂🤣😂
Great intervention by the referee btw, great timing, it could have gone worse
Truth be told, he always use his hook going down instead of going up because of the opponent ducking, he also give that tip to Inoue and Inoue landed a downed hook when Donaire ducked and knock him down in the rematch.
It's a very beautiful chicken dance exit.. 🤣Yeah you're right, his feet commands his brain to exit, the rest of his body follows.
this comment is so underrated
Tyson's signature right to the body-right to the head combo is devastating. Although in this highlight... he missed the right to the head. But he was so quick with the combo... that it left him plenty of time to add the left bomb. Tyson's still the best pure puncher i've ever seen.
To be able to put that power into super quick combinations, ouch.
Absolutely! That hook-uppercut combo was the most lethal weapon in sports when Tyson was in his prime. And let's be honest, there aren't many people on the planet willing to take those two shots from Tyson right now ...
You can’t have seen much if you think he is the best puncher
@@jakemorj5498 Been watching boxing since the 70s. So I've seen quite a bit. Seems to me you have a personal problem with Tyson...not me or my opinion. So aim your agitation elsewhere.
6-4
Remembering that fight with Zab Juda, he did the Harlem Shake all across the ring. 👊🤕🤛
5:57 I like how he gestures at the reff as if to say "now you listen to me, I'm fine."
Zab's chicken dance is the best one that I've ever witnessed.
That Zab Judah pop up though 😖😆🤣😂😭💀⚰️. 🗣️TRAGIC!!!
That ref knows how to handle these situations. RIP Olympic Auditorium, so much boxing history in that building.
history period .... also Wrestling , roller derby etc.
When you get caught good ur legs go out. Nobody is unlockable. Everybody can get tagged. That's boxing. Great video
Tyson was really sneaky with those kidney punches.
Judah went crazy after that fight and even tossed the stool at Kotsya... imagine if he had fought that hard DURING the fight.....😅🤣😂
Imagine if he would have fought that hard to stand up
Nah the bell should've saved him.
I wonder till this day what he said when first jumped up. 😂
A pure , true showing of immaturity .
@@pooddescrewch8718 Love that name - How's SGT. Fury..?
When Tszyu floored Judah the boxing world saw one of the greatest James Brown impersonations in history....and Zab also wanted to send a message to all the kiddies out there by staggering to his feet and immediately telling the ref "dont ever play with matches".
It was a huge fight to unify all the belts and become undisputed....but poor Zab just couldnt stop running his stupid mouth off, even to great fighters like Tszyu as well as the referee. What a goose.
dude.....cheers to you boss
Zeb Judah ... the hardest working boxer in show business.
Tszyu is not great lol ran from floyd.
Hey Ref Don't play with matches you see what it just got me 😂😂😂
Zab Judah dance vs Tzou is the best chicken dance all time. 😂😂😂
Zab Judah the ultimate 😂😂😂
The look on Berbick's face during the referee's instructions at the start of the fight ... he knew he had no chance against Tyson.
That shot from Roy Jones was devastating. I felt that shit from my couch.
The GOAT of "Chicken Dance" in Boxing History
="ZAB JUDAH"!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!
Winner of the chicken dance contest.....Trevor Berbick. Mike knocked him down so hard he fell 3 times.
I'm man enough to admit I did the Chicken Dance once and its the craziest feeling. You feel like your ok but your legs won't do what you want them to do. Ive been fighting for the past 8 yrs and there are ALOT of fighters thats put on a dance contest where they would be the only one dancing. Whether they're man enough to admit it is another question. The good fighters learn from it but even then ANY fighter can get hit at any time by a lucky punch. I have to admit its a pretty embarrassing thing to have to go through because it tks ya awhile to live it down. You've just given your training partners and friends great ammo to use against you. Until it eventually wears off or until they do a dance of their own and you can then turn the tides so to speak..haha
I ate a left hook that spaghetti legged me late in the 4th round . My head was clear but my body was in shock . I hung on and lost a split decision . One of the judges liked me I guess .
Salute to you. Any man that will enter a boxing ring is a true man.
You called it! ANY one at ANY time, and doesn't require much power either when those "buttons" get hit just right.
@@chul074 I think its 6 pounds of pressure on certain areas that can cause a knockout . That sounded low to me but I have heard this more than once . A boxer can easily exhert 400 lbs of pressure with a punch .
@@pooddescrewch8718 4-6pds what I heard (same collar bone, ribs, liver shot, outside knee) human body physics make sense but fighters show that can't be right other wise no fight goes more than 1 round...right? Currently I ref soccer and saw players get hit by the ball and not know where they're at; no chicken dance but same reaction. Here's where I defend 4-6pds, it's not the hit/ concussion protocol everyone in attendance can see, the "ooooh" reaction; simple 20-30yrd lob hit "just right". Sooo I don't know Sgt, but that's what keeps us on our toes and respect the person in front of us regardless of size. You never know?
Zab said some shit like..."it was the 4th and the fear of the force was fierce. Ion know what homie said 🤣
Roy Jones Jr vs Montell Griffin was brutal. Roy had a point to prove, nothing but power shots
Cuz Montell was getting with him on today's scale in the first fight. bacc then and in actuality, Roy beat that man's ass. Then they disqualified him for the whole fight cuz Roy was dumb and wanted to finish the fight for style points and hit Montell in the bacc of the head while Montell was on one knee as the ref was supposed to step in and stop it but hesitated. At that point, Roy should've been docced a point. He got disqualified and his first loss. That messed with his legacy and his money/ability to feed his kids the way he sees fit....Montell HAD A NEGATIVE 55 CHANCE OF WINNING AGAINST ROY AFTER THAT. Roy shoulda fought Tarver after that. If he would fought sugar shane bacc then, it woulda been a better fight and better legacy. If Tito Trinidad didn't have marital problems from cheating, plus 9/11...Tito wouldn't have loss that fight. If buster douglas mom didn't die a week before the fight with Tyson, and Mike wasn't down here in Miami on 15th Avenue with Ike and bo didley snorting the snort before flying to Tokyo, then Tyson wouldn't have loss then.
@@crispin5559 yeah definitely I know all of this. That’s why I say Roy had a point to prove, he was pissed off after that disqualification
@@GodmadeTrends Roy's problems came after scaling weight classes. Had he stayed heavyweight, he would've gotten brutalized more. When he went bacc down, here strikes all these people.
There is no legit “Boxing Highlights” videos without Mike Tyson .. He was something else 😮😅!!!
Yeah, and real boxing fans can spot each one of his rigged fights early in his career.
@@colderbeerHow did you come up with this, man? If you have any info on that, please share.
@@mm30164 I'm sure Tyson ducked a few guys, but let's face it, the guy is / was a monster in the ring.
The chicken dance Trevor Berbick did after Mike Tyson decked him was wild.
Mills Lane was a terrific referee! He always stopped it at the right time!
Canelo vs Trout was epic. Underrated.
Zab seemed fine just seconds after, this is why you are supposed to take an extra few seconds of the count to try to recover as much as possible before standing.
Ya and that ref didn't have to stop it
Zab definitely should’ve took a second to recover.
Granted, we wouldn’t have had this in the video, but he’d have likely had a different outcome.
thats why...u dont play with matches... lol
If u stand up from a knockdown and fall again, the fight is over. The ref stops counting when u stand up. They can’t start a recount when u fall a second time.
No, Jab went down, stood up, then fell down again. At that point, the ref had to stop the fight.
Canelo is like the Guadalupe virgin for the Mexican I don't understand why channels continue pit him as one of the best, they try to immortalized this cherry picker.
Cherry picker? Hes fought some of the best fighters. Mayweather, ggg, cotto, kovalev, saunders, khan, mosley, kirkland. Filthy casual. Zab Judah was too arrogant to take the knee and recover. Now he’s known as the GOAT chicken dance legend.
Fighters instinct is to get up, but they should take the whole 8 or 9 count and then get up. By then you gain your senses and have control of your lower extremities.
With them chicken dancing, they shldnt b getting up even u give em a count to 100. The dancer is out. No question. Kaput
Exactly !!! That's what I think
Tyson fury
'Everyone has a plan till they're punched in the face' - Mike Tyson
When you get knocked down you get stunned for a little and you don't realize how long you been down for so instinct is to get up since it might be close to the 10 count. Since you're stunned you're also not thinking about waiting for your head to clear for a second or 2 to see where the ref is at and if you do wait that 1 or 2 seconds that could end up in a knockout from a 10 count.
This missed the Maidana/Broner and the Khan/Prescott fight. Khan and Broner doing chicken dance (and ultimately losing) is an effective stress reliever. Always brings me joy to an otherwise bad day.
I get how funny the chicken dances look, but I'm in awe of the discipline and determination of these fighters. Their bodies and brains are at complete disconnect, but they still try to stand.
The way Keane bounced off the ropes 😭😭😭

Kahn was an amazingly skilled boxer but he notoriously had a glass jaw.
@@GodlessScummer Glass and Jelly!
@@GodlessScummer always this comment with khan too.
He was a guy with a lot of heart and fast-as-hell hands. He was not “amazingly skilled” all-around as a boxer: his defense was terrible and he had no chin. He was an amazingly quick puncher is more correct. Fell in love with his hand speed and never worked enough on defensive skills.
The „chicken dance” symptom should be a sign for refs to automatically finish the fight.

My chicken dance moment came in a high school wrestling match.
I was in a head and arm pin and it felt like it took the guy 2 min to finally pin me. Problem was he was squeezing and not just holding me down.
The ref blew his whistle, counted the pin, I popped right up and ooooooooh man. It felt like my knees were rotated 90 degrees. My legs felt like they were bending left to right instead of front to back.
My coach instantly came and held me stable after I took about 4 steps. Weirdest feeling in my life.
