I think cause it's in Beta might be why all them games not on the Portal as of yet but sure in future updates that more games will appear. There probably doing it this way to test out the Portal to be sure it can handle before pushing more games on it. My guess.
A Playstation Premium subscription played on a dedicated Playstation device to play on is the way I prefer. I don't know why we don't have access to the same library as the console.
There really is WAY more games on the PC app. I just got this on my ROG Ally and works great. Any issues putting this on the OLED SD? I haven’t partitioned my SD.
This or steam deck oled? I’m talking about which device is the better handheld gaming device? Both are priced the same in my region for the 1TB variants
I am using ps + on the ally but it doesnt feel smooth tbh and there is noticable input lag. I am not exactly sure but the graphic looks spongy and not really detailed it feels like 720p ordered on wish 😂 But the portal experience is day and night difference. Its even better than remote play from the console. Insane cloud gaming experience. Thumps up sony.
Are you using stock software on the Ally? PS app Access AMD GPU to improve the stream if you don't see AMD shortcut in the top right corner like a normal game something is wrong!
because its really a 720p, there's no option for 1080p when you use remote app on windows. Tried it yestereday, ofcourse they need you to buy a ps portal, all features will be enabled in there, it should be buttery smooth.
Yes, but even now in beta the experience is much more immediate and smooth on PS portal, windows is a bad idea for these devices. On Steamdeck I have better and smoother streaming experience. I have a legion go too and I’ll try, but from what I see here, the user experience is better on Portal, I take it, push a button, and I am there. No window/full screen switch, no issue with controller, no stutter.
I have the same question. I want Madden too. I went out to get a ps portal after the update. I know there’s more to come. Hopefully we get 2k and madden or even PlayStation app so we can buy our own games.
Ps plus on pc is all ps4 and older library. The ps cloud stream beta on is PS5 library of games. The older games are all game stray have been rereleased to ps5
That’s what upset me too the fact that he’s trying to compare it to when they’re two different things internally and externally not to mention one was just made to stream your PlayStation and it’s a new function for the device so anything could happen. That’s why it’s a beta and also since it’s a beta, of course we’re not gonna get everything right off the rip.
@rayray9865 also one of these two deviced heats up and has loud fan noise with less battery run time. I played on my ps portal all day yesterday on my 1gigabit connection overwifi and ran like a dream. The suppised delay is non existent. Its so good in fact that i couldnt even tell that i was streaming. The good thing about a native device is that it just works out of the box without having to go through extra menu or option settings. The problem with Marc and other yourubers is that he is a "reviewer" and not a gamer and doenst actually experience what its like to pick one of these devices and put it through real world application on a practical day to day use.
Cloud streaming isn’t native on the portal either. They are both doing the same thing. But I thought the PC app forced you to use a PlayStation controller so I’m kinda surprised it works on the legion go
Yeah but you'll have to go through some hoops to get it working on steam by using proton and editing some file names and other stuff it's like a 15 min process but it works . I was actually playing god of war through ps plus on my steamdeck last night .
@Marcthegeek Not on PS Portal it hasn't, you saw yourself it doesn't say beta on the other app. It's pretty much a given that the whole catalog, and likely sorting will become available on the Portal in time...
They will not emulate the touchpad button for pc usage. It ain’t happening. Forget it. It will never “get better” on a handheld pc. If you aren’t gonna connect a ps4 controller then don’t bother. I like using a one x player b/c you can just detach the controller & that’s that. Then that ps4 controller doesn’t conflict with anything. The one x player I own actually has a usb port, so you can plug that controller straight in. It must be wired to work with ps now. but the video shown here is pointless. You aren’t going to get anywhere with any of those ps4 or ps5 games you launch when you realize they are all broken without that touchpad button. lool.
You only told half the story. Yes 5e app is on PC but you didn’t let your viewers know it is flawed and can’t use the touch part that is needed for most PS games. Renders it useless essentially as you need to USB connect a PS4 Controller which kills the experience. You can also remote the same way. Crazy people don t know this but hay I get it. Made good for some views but you should of left the truth lol
Dude it's in the beta stage what are you talking about 🤦♂️
Shut up
hey do you have a link to those thumbgrips on your portal?
Ps+ has been on pc since lunch,… but gamers didn’t know…
I didn't know either
I think they added a few games because I don't remember Resident Directors Cut, Assassins Creed Valhalla, Oddworld etc. being on here at launch.
Resident Evil was added. But the other two were there before
I think cause it's in Beta might be why all them games not on the Portal as of yet but sure in future updates that more games will appear. There probably doing it this way to test out the Portal to be sure it can handle before pushing more games on it. My guess.
Add the whole library then we will talk.
That's good to know. That was one good reason I didn't log into PSN on my Legion Go. Thanks!🎉
ps plus for pc has been out since 2022 . I have it on my legion go and with a little proton and tweaking i have it on my stem deck also.
How u get it working on legion i just get country not supported
@Dronesdjimini.4 are you in the US ?
A Playstation Premium subscription played on a dedicated Playstation device to play on is the way I prefer. I don't know why we don't have access to the same library as the console.
That would be great
It's due to licensing agreements... All games have different contracts when it comes to releasing their games
@@SuperJutahtrue
so i think the portal can cloud stream ps5 version of the games.
Eventually, it will stream the other versions as well.
If this device(Legion Go)doesn't have a touch pad, then PS1/PS2/PSP/PS3 games won't start right?
What?
@AkaHoodie The select/start button is mapped to the touchpad when playing PS1/PS2/PSP games
i find it weird that the windows ps app is ps3/ps4 only while the portal is ps5 only
Bruh it is beta
Yeah. But the PS Portal version will get those versions as well as updates come down in the future.
You cannot play PlayStation five games on PC. That’s why the portal is really awesome.
Why is the cloud streaming a better quality overall compared to my PS5 Pro running on my network wired and Gigabit Internet!?
Is there a nba 2k25?
Question is the last of us 2 on there for the legion go???
Nope. Not on any cloud service
Steamdeck oled ir ps portal with ps premium ãcc? I don't have ps5
Obviously, the only real handheld device is the Steam Deck. So I day the Deck
Its just so underpowered, the legion go screen is next level even under low resolution you can see everything
I am using ps + on the ally but it doesnt feel smooth tbh and there is noticable input lag. Thumps up indeed
Are you using stock software on the Ally? PS app Access AMD GPU to improve the stream if you don't see AMD shortcut in the top right corner like a normal game something is wrong!
@@PDot585 i played with the 780m driver. So u think using the Stock driver without loading to the 780m is much better when i play ps plus on the ally?

Bruh i didn't know i ca. Do this on my LEGO
Yeah, they are PS4, but it's a great option. There's no Rift apart or any PS5 exclusives.
The problem is the controller on the LEGO has a input lag
Are we getting nba 2k too maybe?

Ps plus on pc is all ps4 and older library. The ps cloud stream beta on is PS5 library of games. The older games are all game stray have been rereleased to ps5
I
I want this to come to android devices and the quest 3s
I second this, just like Xbox Game Pass & yes, for both Android & Quest 3/3S.
PS Plus on PC DOES NOT HAVE PS5 GAMES! It also doesn't support the DualSence either!
'And there in lies the rub' 👍🏾
This is not the same. Native hardware with Dual sense vs a 3rd party gimmick. Its still in beta and will only gettee better
That’s what upset me too the fact that he’s trying to compare it to when they’re two different things internally and externally not to mention one was just made to stream your PlayStation and it’s a new function for the device so anything could happen. Where's the 3rd party gimmick? Isn't the remote play app on pc made by sony?
could work on steamdeck too ?

Dam just got my portal and see this bs video 🤣🤣 boutta resale and get that handheld pc i can play pc games ps games and xbox all in 1!
The best one right now is the Legion Go bc of the screen but, if you want a better Windows experience the Asus Rog Ally hands down.
Appreciate it
The portal much better You can play ps5 games versión
My man, IT IS A BETA. What are we doing here lol... 🤷
Yeah, but PS5 Cloud Streaming service has been available for over a year now.
@Marcthegeek Not on PS Portal it hasn't, you saw yourself it doesn't say beta on the other app. It's pretty much a given that the whole catalog, and likely sorting will become available on the Portal in time...
That's what I'm saying. It's like when xbox first did it.
You can’t even play those games on the portal that’s not fair lol 😂😂😂
On mobile

Ps plus like game pass please Sony
Complaining about a beta is crazy
PS+ on PC - DOES NOT HAVE PS5 GAMES 🤷🏾♂️
