I was at the game. Farrell shook hands with all the players, had a friendly chat with Koch and Pollard tje cauhht up with Kochgave Kolisi a hug and then apllauded the fans and stayed to sign autographs. He played well and was a gent after the game. He played well and was a gent in defeat after the game thanked the fans and was gracious in the post match conference . This constant Farrell slanging is getting so old. If some Bok players including your captain who actually know him and are friends with him then it's probably not a giant leap for Bok fans who don't know him or anything about him to just park it and move on. It's pathetic the way some of uou are carrying on.

Bok supporter here. I In the days leading up to this game most were already preparing for a SA/AB final. I kept saying how nervous I was for this one. We have learnt the hard way in the past that you never, ever write off the English. They were better on the day. Absolute warriors, absolute respect!

I have to say the English played an exceptional game. This could have gone eitherway. But this English team is on the up regardless of the result. You know both teams are friends off the field but once those jerseys hit the skin, and until the final whistle blows, it's a different tune. There was a lot of unsportsmanlike behavior from fans and teams throughout the world cup and this behaviour from these two teams is just great to watch. It melts my heart and even being a Bok supporter wants me to root for the English. Proud of both teams leading by example.

we got super lucky, england rendered cheslyn, ebert and many other places useless this game. Well done to coach Jaque for replacing ebert and mani, that made a massive difference. Just like last week's game to france, the game could of gone either way... England 10x better then they did in the 2019 worldcup, just hardluck today. England will be a force at the 2027 world cup as they have many players under 25 that will have more experience in the fututre... but for now, next week we watch rugbys greatest rivalry!
I also think that they have learnt very well and countered our normal game wonderfully, using the high balls and wide passes against us.

So now the media will say that the Boks look tired and how they will not be ready for the final after the quarters and semis. I think Rassie and Jacques have purposely picked the same team these 2 games and will make some interesting player choices for the finals. The likes of Mapimpi, Trevor, Wiese, Esterhuizen, Am, Moodie, hell even Pollard are well rested and hungry to play. Willie has been coming on towards the back end of games, so starting him may be a possibility with Willemse coming on later. Then we still have numerous scrumhalves to choose from, with Grant Williams being my second choice for next week. It’s game on and the Boks will fight until the end!

We are going to need wings that are good in the air for next week. Look at how England played against us. Constant pressure under the high ball. Kolbe and Arendse are world class but they struggled immensely under the high ball because of their size. If NZ try these same tactics then we are screwed. I wouldn’t say take Kolbe off the starters list but I would definitely like to see Moodie have a run at 14 in place of Arendse. It will be an interesting team selection this week. I do think that Wiese should start at 8 and we need Trevor off the bench with Ox starting.

Humbled ? Have you ever actually played rugby ? They are not celebrating, they are psyching up and maintaining energy . It's a common sporting psychological method to keep focused. Most teams will use a similar method including Boks . Let them play how they want

Why is Handré Pollard a reserve/replacement? Can't Nienaber wipe the crap out of his eyes and realize Pollard is a key player? He is one of the best players in the world, just like Cheslin Kolbe, Owen Farrell, Johnny Sexton. Without Pollard, the Springboks would NEVER have won the game yesterday. Period. Manie Libbok is simply not good enough. And what is Steven Kitshoff still doing in the team? He is not up to standard. And Willie le Roux is worthless, he almost always drops the ball because he's afraid of his opponents. He's an arrogant little prick that should never be allowed on the field either. And why is the Springboks not always going for the poles when in striking distance? Take the 3 points - it can make the difference between win and losing. The captain of England was celebrating too early in the game during the first few minutes of the first half, that is what happens when you count your chickens before they hatch and for a captain to do that, very unprofessional. Hope he learned a valuable lesson to never celebrate too early, especially against the springboks.
