This is a very fast growing variety that has an interesting taste. It was introduced by Bass from treesofjoy.com/. My tree is growing in Tucson, AZ (Zone 9b).
That's some amazing growth. You credit the variety but there's obviously a lot of skill in the cultivation. Maybe you could do a growing tips video sometime.
@@jesen84 My first-year trees are healthy, but only 2 - 3' high. They're in full sun until about 1:00 PM, dappled sun until 5:00 and shade after that. I was watering every other day but have increased that to daily. Fertilizing every couple of weeks or so. Seeing other AZ growers' plants, I'm thinking this must not be optimal. They're mostly in 5 gal. Any glaring issues you see here? Thanks!
@@paulm965 I water daily in the summer. Consider changing your soil - the blue MiracleGro bags work well for me. Also try experimenting with larger pots. Good luck!

Thanks man. The tips video would be very short - provide regular water, sun light and occasional fertilizer :)

How many times did you repot that tree in this one season.
Just once - I went from a 4x9 tree pot to a 15 gallon. I know it seems like a big jump but in my experience figs love the room to expand.
