You are forever the alchemist Kim, great experiment with the UV resin. I can see how the UV resin is meant for very shallow applications. I wonder if a bloom could work in a shallow coaster? 🧐
Kim, you’re truly a perfectionist when it comes to art. I just wanna say I love you and Marie-Louise so much, cuz you’re both beautiful, graceful, charming, classy, stylish, sweet, and adorable, and you always understand my feelings and dreams. We’re always going to be best friends forever. 🤗🤗🤗
Wish, the project was successful, the colors were truly amazing,if the uv resin had cured, this would look truly amazing 😍😍😍,Kim 💜💜. Thank you so much for sharing this experimenting video with us 💜💜
I love it when my favorite artists experiment! It saves us so much time, money, and frustration... so thank you! Plus, I always learn something from watching you. I need to (one of these days) replicate some cabinet pulls/handles for my kitchen. So maybe I could make a mold of one with the stuff you used.? What do you think? I hope you have recovered from this weekend☺️. Great video Kim🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Glad you found it useful! Good luck with your cabinet project! I think you should be able to make a mold from your original ones and then make new ones from that. What a cool project Tera! I’m all recovered from the weekend- the scratches all over my arms are slowly healing up too. 🎉😀
Very interesting experiment Kim! I have lots of What if's - What if the mold were see through? My silicone is see through....What if you let it cure in the sunlight? Rather than using the light? What if you let it in the sunlight?
Hehe. Go for it! 🤣 try it and let me know. Actually it still won’t work. The UV resin is too thick ( maybe the low viscosity UV would help) however, the mica powder blocks the UV rays from getting through to cure.
Ooooh that dragon eye is a mystery to behold! Whatever will the crackle effect look like, I can’t wait to see!! ❤❤❤
Just you wait and see my pretty
Woooow dragon eye looks amazing great sharing friend 👍
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It was a wild ride!
Loved your fun experiment!! What a fun ride you took us on today! Well done darling!
❤❤❤
Ahh thank you. It was cool
Love your smirky 😂 laugh. World's smallest coaster😅😅😅 I hear Acorn. What a great experiment. And yes UV resin is expensive.
Acorn features regular in my videos Heather I like it or not. Makes other dog owners either crazy and laugh.

I don’t think it would work. Maybe if you got the low viscosity UV resin and a transparent mold…
This Dragon Eye looks so beautiful. Amazingly done dear Kim.
Thank you Antara
Great experiment Kim…from creating da mold to trying the dragons eye with UV. Fun to watch!
It was so much fun making all of it just to find out for sure.
Cool experiment! Thank you for sharing!
It was interesting for sure. No we know 🎉
I didn't know you could make molds. That's VERY impressive, PearlEx-Solar Gold is probably one if my new favorites.

Yes mold making is a thing too! There is just sooooo much stuff to try and do that I’ve been entertained for about 4+ years and counting!

This was a lovely experimenting video, Kim💜💜.I wish results were successful as these colors were sooooo beautiful 💜💜😍😍😍
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I was very interested to see if it would work too!
Love watching your experiments we are always living and learning ❤
It’s fun to explore what’s possible or not in this case. 🤣. I appreciate YOU 💙🩵💙
Very interesting about the UV resin and pigments. I would have never guessed that.
It’s always fun to see what works and what doesn’t!

It was an interesting experiment for sure!
What a great experiment Kim I love it and it's good know. Nicely done.😍🥰☺
Thank you! I was curious too! I didn’t really think it would work but there was a possibility…. Now I know. 💯 won’t work
I can’t wait!🎉
So excited that you are tagging along and I get to see how my painting was created!

That is awesome
Thank you so much Dave!
@ take care
What a shame it didn’t work, think I’ll stay well away from UV Resin but thanks for sharing 😊
Haha. UV resin has its place. It’s just not with flower blooms or anything with heavy mica pigments.
