A little background on this property. Opened in 1970 as a Ramada Inn. Remained a Ramada Inn until 1980 when it changed franchises to become a Holiday Inn which it remained until Holiday Inn didn't renew the franchise in 1990. From 1990 on it lived out it's last quarter century as a Quality Inn.
Whenever I watch an exploration of a home, I always think of my own family and childhood. I ask myself, "Would this have been a nice place to live?" I can often picture what family life was like there and because my family loved the holidays, I always wonder where they put their Christmas tree. I stayed in some very nice motels, back in the day, and visited some really beautiful ones, particularly in vacation country. The second you focused on the photo of the lobby, with that staircase coming down to the lobby, I thought, "Now, _that_ would be the place to put up the Christmas tree, right in the ell formed by the bottom flight!" There is so much left to ruin and decay in this country that I'm grateful for urban explorers for seeking them out and documenting them. Good job, Dane!
Kept thinking Dan Bell was going to show up wanting a room. Nice explore as always. You go to some scary places. This one didn’t seem too bad. Corrected: fem hygiene spray/wash and mouthwash. Giant hole under desk. Flies and stinky room. Ugh. Stay safe. ❤️ PS How many bodies get hidden under pool covers. No one else checks except for Urbex Dane. You got the guts.
I just did an exploration of an abandoned Quality Inn in Norwood, Ohio! It's crazy how similar they look. Mine was a little more fucked up inside. It (The Norwood one.) closed via a police raid on September 12th, 2014.
Thanks Dane for sharing with me this video about the ABANDONED Quality inn Hotel Explore it was a very interesting place Dane it must really risky to explore these places but i always enjoy your videos and i am glad you made a new one i was really wondering when you was going to make a new one my friend but be safe Dane when you do these explores i see this place was trashed really bad by vandals it is a real shame Dane when these places get destroyed by vandals. and i can't wait to see your next video my friend and God Bless my friend and thanks again.
The 4 or 5 possible investors outside probably took one look at the place and were like "Nah I think we'll pass" before they even wanted to see the inside.
Choice Hotels took our reservations 6 months in advance, they continued to confirm our reservations on a regular basis even when they knew the hotel was not even finished being built. When we got to the hotel on September 15, 2019 it was still under construction. They continued the horrible behavior and unprofessional conduct by leaving us stranded and homeless on the streets of Boston with no concern what so ever for our care or our safety. Even now they continue to do nothing and are failing to step up to do what is right. The sign outside their closed hotel says, "You cannot rush perfection". Choice Hotels is very very far from perfection in anyway.
Wow this is really cra cra. This is in way better condition then the days inn you explored in Pa. We did a vid there in June of this year. The condition was WAY worse. Keep up the really good work. We are really enjoying it.
Awesome explore! I would think you run across a lot of squatters in hotels. I was a little scared for you. Glad you made it out safe. Looking forward to your next video! Stay Safe out there!! 😬
Nice to see a video from you. We missed you. I don't think I've seen a jacuzzi in a hotel room in a very long time. At least since the Poconos and I think all those are abandoned now. Nice job ducking and dodging 😂 hope you can post again soon. 🤗🤗

Howdy do, This is Peter Macalister, the father, I'dd like a hotel room please, with an extra large bed, a TV, and one of those little refrigerators you have to open with a key. Credit card? You got it! Thanks for the tour.
Hi Dane, awesome to see a video from you again. Wow you like sketchy places lol, that was so wrecked in there. I wonder if that bad smell was rotting food or something more ominous ? :(. Thank God you got out safe, another quality video, thank you for sharing. Stay safe. xx
its a shame places like this just get abandoned. it would be perfect for low income housing

Missed your uploads! Good to see that you're back ~ hope all is well😊
As a house flipper it hurts my head to see all these perfectly good sinks and fixtures going to waste. Another great video!
Sad that these buildings stand empty and decay..
Yes with so many homeless from the hurricanes and such

Summer's Eve,Centrum,and a shot glass.You must have found the honeymoon suite!Oh dear....
I'M REALLY SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T BOARD THAT PLACE UP ONCE IT WAS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
There's ALWAYS a peen drawn somewhere. LOL Great exploration Dane! BTW, the flies and gnats are most likely from the grease trap. Yuck!
The jacuzzi looked so out of place...or was it just me? I love motel explores :)
One book in lobby said 2018!
Nice explore! Glad to see your back! Thanks for sharing!

I'dd like a hotel room please, with an extra large bed, a TV, and one of those little refrigerators you have to open with a key.

I'm surprised you only found evidence of one person living there.
Chilling thinking those guys might catch you! Made for s great video 👍 🙋🕊️🌟 🌟

The people outside could be residents.
Great explore! love the corridor long shots 👍
Great video Dane!
Glad you're back!
Thanks for another cool explore ... and a thumbs up from me.
Glad to see you are back. What a waste. That used to be a real nice hotel.
Wow it’s been awhile I like the opening good to see you again!
Is this in Medina? If not, we also have a creepy abandoned Quality Inn here lol
Good vid, that place is going to get so trashed if that door isn't locked soon.
How do you find these places? You have the best videos. Keep it up
Excellent video!!
Cool! I have yet to explore a abandoned motel or hotel! Is this in North Randall?
Awesome video good seeing you it’s been awhile but it’s a shame someone should try and buy it take care 👍😊
Pretty cool!
Hi! Missed you!
Hi Dane!!!!!!!
Missed you brother
Am From the MidWest too 👍
Yes
Good explore.
So much waste.😞
Thanks fox. I recently found one with more left behind. Really odd for a franchise hotel. The place had average reviews online.
Urbex Dane
Looking forward to them.🙂
Doesn't look like it's been abandoned that long because it's not tore up inside as much as I've seen in other videos
Welcome bck bro 👍🏾
Why do people have to destroy stuff
Nice explore again, a bit of a lost place, guess the ppl out there were from a demo company.
Guarantee there are people. That is a squatters paradise. STOP going to these places alone!
That placr isnt so far gone that it cant be saved. It would makr an awesome place for housing vets.
Shame we have so many empty buildings around and they build more Malls and Motels
Thanks
I don’t live far from the area
Did anyone else hear all the flies? when he said it smelled bad? Something probably died in there..
So scary
Quality Inn no more👎a one star lodging proper maid service is lacking and needs repairs.🧐Avoid the cereal tastes moldy.🤢
Surprised you didn’t run into squatters.
Where is this at in ohio?????
👍
Or Opened
Bad smell could of been a dead body
We are getting used to one video a month! Withdrawal not fun.
Cool video wish you could do on Trump's bankrupt casinos 😁
What a ridiculous video. Why the eerie background music, and why were you whispering?
I just wasted 5 minutes of my life.
