Thank you Nobbel! Not being much of a reader myself, I greatly appreciate this!
“If only they would accept her for what she truly is..” lady, you are a literal conduit for the Old Gods..
imo it's quite interesting how the voices of the void are basically what seems to appear like heavy depression
Hearing a story based from the point of view a mother reminds me that it doesn’t matter how old you get, you are still your mother’s child. Your parents may not be perfect, and even in times they do things that you may not agree with, but they are trying and that they still love us. Good job Nobbel. Good job.
shes not even a good mother or wife, screwed her family over many times and might have just destroyed it. we will see.
I definitely think (to my great grief) that this family is not surviving whole. I think Turalyon is going to die, not as an enemy as many have wrongly interpreted, but as a hero who had to chose between duty and his family.
There has been several references in the story as well that could indicate that such as Alleria telling Arathor she gained common ground with her mother right before she died when talking about Turalyon. The Hammer of Turalyon calling from the stars for them to go home and Alleria recognising that she didn’t know when would the last time she sees him be
I was very on board sktb turalyan becoming a villian at first. Then I realized most good guys and bad guys are poor attempts at being morally grey. Turalyan is just a hero from the old times. Maybe he's a little weathered, but he is one of the last early warcraft heroes we have left. I hope he just stays with the light and trying to be a good boy.
And I hope the opposite for xal. No sympathetic backstory. Just give us an evil bastard like guldan. I hope she's just evil because she likes being evil.
Totally opposite of my feelings in legion time.
@@aspiringnormie9499 how could xal have a sympathetic backstory though? She’s very likely Y’Shaarj so her motivations are always going to be sinister
Nobbel you are a gem! Given how difficult it is for me to read I am always so grateful when you do Audiobooks, thank you!
I fully agree with you.
Right there with you both
Thank you for the reading Nobbel! I would not have had time to sit and read it my self.
The Tomb of Sargeras and A Thousand Years of War was amazing. Shame it was just a spark never to be seen again. This types of content are priceless and timeless.
Any game company should invest heavily in to it.
Alas.
Very good reading, thank you Nobbel. I wouldn't have read it myself.
This was great, thanks for this Nobbel!
Her love for Arator is lovely, Windrunners truly love with all their being.
so much love she basicly ruined her family by joining the void. ya real love there.
@@timar6868 and if she hadn't done that, turalyon *would* have been tortured to death by eradication, and her son when the legion invaded azeroth again... so yeah.
Thanks Nobbel! Love your content!
Did anyone else catch the author mistake? They said that Alleria had green eyes, yet she was not in Quel’thalas when the High Elves gained the green eyes. She was in Outland. So she has always had blue eyes.
Thank you so much for that!! I could not read the story due to eye issues and you came through like a hero!
as a dad of 2 young kids and a busy healthcare job, this hits hard.
ya you work in healthcare, you are def void
jesu... huge thanks for the audioboo :)
That's was fantastic I loved it.
That was nice
THANK YOU NOBBEL!! You are amazing for doing this
This was Excellent Nobbel!
Thank you so much for doing it! really great job on the reading!
I propose Nobbel as official reader for Warcraft audiobooks from now on 🧡
Interested to find out how/why Arator A Silver Hand Paladin of the Alliance lives in Silvermoon, seems that and the guests allowed in means it will become a Neutral Capital soon.
5 years does alot apparantly.
Since he's not part of the Silver Covenant or the Blood Knights, I suspect Arator has left the Alliance military and is only affiliated with the neutral Silver Hand now. That could possibly grant him civilian status in Silvermoon. Though him wearing armor in the city and being addressed by the guards as a knight might contradict this. Either way, it's made pretty clear that Quel'thalas is a Horde nation but won't banish Quel'dorei from their home in peace time. Even Turalyon is let in, and Alleria is only banished because of the Void.
My Prediction: Xal'atath is gonna fool Alleria into some kind of trap which will lead to the death of her son, or maybe Turalyon but less likely
(or even both if they wanna be dark and edgy)
"Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it"
She already once mentioned she feels like she already died twice at the end of Legion IIRC, her failure will lead her to lose faith in herself, and then she gives in to the void completely, "killing" her for a third time
(Or even cause her to ""self checkout"" if they want to be REALLY dark and edgy)
"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming"
This will somehow be related to the Sunwells corruption leading us into Midnight, the Sunwell already reacted to Allerias presence violently and caused voidy things to spawn before
Thanks for this narrative very well done 👍
Man you're good at these readings 👏👏🌹
Excited to see what they finally decided to do with Aleria's son.
Aleria and Tyralions son . she isnt A sexual
@@timar6868 I didn't want to spell his name, so thanks
@@timar6868 Alleria* and Turalyon*.
Thank you so much for all the effort and love you put in each video Nobbel! It's such a great way to keep up with the lore and all the tiny details that I would otherwise miss 🤍
Excited and afraid for both Alleria and Arator. I dont want Alleria to die in this saga
Just goes to show, even in fantasy the parenting style "do as I say not as I do" never works.
5:25 IIRC WoW starts in year 25 ( and itself is set 4 years after the end of Warcraft 3 ) and by the time of Dragonflight is somewhere around year 40. So nearly 20 years after Arthas attacked Silvermoon and they're STILL rebuilding? I mean Stormwind was destroyed in the first war and heavily damaged by Deathwing and they've been rebuilt for awhile now. I mean I know in game they haven't done anything with the place since Burning Crusade, but outta game why so long to rebuild?
In general we been kinda busy.
After BC Arthas returns and they deal with that. Cataclysm happens, gotta deal with that. Mists of Pandaria might seem like a nothing burger but they were dealing with a serious refugee crisis with the sunreaver expulsions from Dalaran.
Then Warlord of Draenor back just in time for the legion invasion. Oh hey Sylvanas started another major war gotta deal with oops Azshara and Nzoth. Whew were OOPS GIANT PORTAL IN THE SKY LEADING YO THE DEATH REALM!
It’s been a bit of a rapid fire of BS an already struggling people had to go through. The last 5 years it makes sense to finally start consolidating and rebuilding. What we see in game is a fraction of the actual size of the city lore wise. Think something more like Suramar.
hope arathor gets a new model what with the half elves coming soon
I mean reading the short story, avoiding all spoilers from TWW I can, what I got out of this is it's obvious at this point Alleria will lose Arator and she will make a great mistake. Will be fun to check out what that looks like in a year or two.
Nobbel whispyelling dark thoughts to my ears might be my new nightmare 😅
Can you link your episode where you go over Aleria turning to the dark side
That was during the argus campaign which I might just make a seperate video on. For now, this is when I covered it: ua-cam.com/video/uttOh3QvXzk/v-deo.htmlsi=_4xqyFGX-ogiJuSJ&t=4052
Let’s F%#&ING go !!!
I wish they stop doing novel only stories. Most people aren’t going to read it and be so lost.
I know, they seem to love cinematic so much how about they use it to actually tell the story haha
You should do more audio books bro
Why were Allerias eyes green?
Also i JUST realized that the void might have bin the ones that destroyed Garosh hellscream! With all these voices, that whould have corrupted him enough to turn him to there cause and do what he did. Or make him angry enough to do what he did.
Y'shaarj did it.
ooOOoOOoO Old Gods
All I want is my Goblin city Undermine and I will be fulfilled :D
A CHILD OF DARK AND LIGHT, Aritor
Nobbel for this patch troll heritage came out and these 2 loa’s came back the Darkspear use to worship. Is there any lore you can shine on them with?
Audible hope you have enjoyed this program
I still think its stupid the void can be hurt by the void and same with any other power. how can someone filled with void hurt a void being? its the same essence..its so dumb
Why shouldn't it work? Mages aren't immune to magic, warriors aren't immune to bladed weapons, rouges aren't immune to poison, Light users aren't immune to offensive Light spells...
Great listen and amazing story. Glad they kept things non woke
"Everything I don't like is woke."
-Crybaby conservative.
I'd like to remind everyone that Thrall and Alleria are major characters in The War Within, (which leads into the Void expansion, Midnight), and are ALSO the final bosses for both factions' Horrific Visions from BFA. That is no coincidence... Alleria will fall, as will Thrall. Turalyon will die, and N'zoth is certainly not dead.
Problem is that blizz confirmed that we killed the old gods in bfa
@@alihorda things get brought back from the dead when needed, look at illidan. Also in an all void expansion the void lords might resurrect their servants the old gods. Lastly maybe they planned to bring this off back but after player reception are choosing a different path now.
In any case Alleria and Thrall is an excellent call out
Why read when u have Nobbel!
cool, can't wait to get in game and hear her two cliche lines which disregard all of this, and for whatever is in the 2nd patch to be completely unrelated. prove me wrong, please blizzard.
First interesting story and second when alextraza in world of warcraft was gang-raped she made a lot of babies. We know that part but is it known what happend to all those children sha had? And im assuming those dragons where where treated like beasts of war and when you treat some one or some thing like a beast of war thats only for killing they end up not right mentaly. No personality or thinking just an animal that kills. A lot like barbarians but more monster with no humanity left. Thats what they did to Alextraza over and over. That and SO much more over all the time she's bin alive and being the mother she is she hide the pain, put on a brave face and smile for the world. Her close friends and family (the dragons) know she's hurting. But like Morpheus from the matrix sed he can only show the door, you have to walk through it. Meaning unless she wants and accepts help then she's not willing to recive help. And the dragon isle expansio was the straw that broke the camels back, or Alextrazas back. Not litterly but mentaly and she let it all out, and her dragon family and friends know she's hurting and now she can begin to heal abit with help from friends and family. And now sins its post-shadowlands she can actually GO to the shadowlands and see and learn what we learned BUT she will see and learn it from a point where its bin healing sins we fixed the shadowlands mess. And she's old and wise so she will understand, it wont fix everything or make the pain go away but it will be better a little bit at a time.
And the war within is basicly depresion and all the dark and evil thought you have while depresed. Its basicly like the void describe it here. And im not sure what Xalatath is doing is her ACTUAL goal. She's one of the best manupulators we know of along Sire Denathrius and Azshara that play us like the spanish play guitars.
None of the dragons in Dragonmaw captivity survived long term, as far as I know. =/

This is not an audiobook.
I had the most difficult time thinking on what to title this. Read out or midnight nibbler don't seem to do it. Any suggestions instead of audiobook?
@@Nobbel87 Well, labeling it "audiobook" implies it's an officially produced and released audiobook... If you're going to do this ongoing, maybe something like "Nobbel Reads" :)
Ignore them. If audiobook gets under their skin you could put audio nibbles and they’d question how you ingest this and why you adding nibbles to the title. Too sad
@@megacodeheals722 It's not an audiobook.
I just finished the harbinger quest and it was amazing to finally have real bodied elves for Lireesa and Verath! I know there's one of Lyrath at windrunner spire but it was nice to see them all together, even if it was a bittersweet memory
Thank you @nobbel87 I was looking for the audiobook version.
