I mention they get great reviews and that this was what the park needed and enthusiasts sometimes overhype things. I even defended the park by saying they did not over hype it. Usually i would not go out of my way to go ride one of these family gravity group roller coasters, but this being in kentucky(i live in southern ohio) and the fact that kentucky kingdom has other good rides, it makes worth it, i think this is a great addition to the park
Actually I recently found out by looking at RCDB that a lot of classic wooden coasters were called "The Flyer" so it's a pretty neat blast from the past if I do say so myself
"Roar-O-Soarus" is located in New Hampshire at Story Land. And it's a great ride. It's actually the biggest coaster in the park and other than Roar-O-Soarus is the Polar Coaster.
Wooden coasters done by gravity group and gci are always great no matter the size, i think mystic timbers is the best roller coaster at kings island, so trust me when i tell you that these smaller wooden coaster will exceed your expectations

I think the ride looks cool and will be fun as I am a firm believer in a coasters height and speed do not make or break a ride. Not too many people are a fan of Bombora at Lagoon and I love it its a great coaster. Thank you for being one of the few positive people about this ride though. I say that because I think Planet Coaster is too simple and not professional enough of a program as it is geared a general audience. As a avid No Limits user (I'm a bit bias but) I understand No Limits has a steep learning curve that Planet Coaster does not but the results speak for themselves. The quality that can be achieved in No Limits, Planet Coaster cannot even touch. There are plenty of us out in the NL community that would easily be willing to make an animation for them. I don't really care about them using Planet Coaster for showing off the layout, but I do think the whole presentation looked really really low-budget. Sorry, but if you want people to get excited about something you're showing off, you can't make it look like your 10 year old kid put something together in iMovie. With that said, the coaster itself will probably be cool.

KY Kingdom has done an incredible job with their coaster lineup, especially considering the height restrictions due to the proximity to Louisville International Airport.
I first thought they didnt show the trains because the default trains on the shown ingame coaster are gci trains but then i realized that you can put timberliners with a plane theme on there (actually in the game)
Out of interest, Taylor, how good would you say that these smaller Gravity Group coasters' airtime compares to other types of coaster you've ridden? Only asking because I've heard some reviews comparing them favourably to thrill-orientated airtime machines!
The reason people are talking about how Planet Coaster was used to show the ride is that it looks really effortless, rushed and low-budget. Compare this announcement video to something like Copperhead Strike, it's two different worlds of effort put into the simulation. They didn't even put the Timberliners on the ride, they had a two-car PTC train lol
What I'm saying is that Planet Coaster has non-themed Timberliners in the game, and they use a PTC train. It just shows an overall lack of effort by the Kentucky Kingdom team, combined with not using No Limits 2 to make the animation

The choice of a GG wooden family coaster is great, and I applaud this decision. That said, Taylor, it isn't just that is was Planet Coaster that they used for the fly over animation. It's that their Planet Coaster building skill is awful. Hell, I would have made them something better for free. Maybe next time. Looking forward to the documentary.
Amelia Schriver B&M Hyper s are a big hit with the GP so it makes sense. If they got another really intense Intamin Hyper for example people wouldn’t want to ride it.
@@jbc17c I defiantly understand that. However I am a huge fan if pretty much any type of intamin roller coaster. Intomidator 305 is one if my all time favorite roller coasters and skyrush without a doubt my fav at Hershey. I just love how intense they are and they are awesome rides.
Amelia Schriver You're not the only one. B&M hypers are decent rides, but us enthusiasts would prefer something more intense. I do think Goliath (SFOG) & Mako are great, because those focus more on quality ejector airtime, but most other B&M hypers can feel a bit tame. But the GP think they're they greatest things ever. But I'm with you; Intamin fan-boy here!
Well, it'll definitely be better than "Invadr." However hopefully this not being big will give the park the opportunity to get a hyper coaster in a couple of years, like 2021. I do think this was silly hyped like it would be some kind of flying coaster only to be a small wooden coaster. But you hit the best point when you mentioned that adding this is really a second wooden coaster and a good mid-size coaster fit. Gravity Group is great as well. "Storm Chaser" is like nearly 100% steel, iron horse not topper for starters but still the supports are all steel anyway. I gotta get over to Oscar's Wacky Taxi, I'm like an 1hr away isn't complicated for me. Also Timberliner trains are amazing, the best trains made for a wooden coaster-I'd say even a step up from GCI's MF trains. Way better than RMC's by a long shot or the intamin pre-fabs.

If they got an exact clone of Mako it'd be great, so being restricted to 200 feet isn't going to be any issue. And like said in the video they can't always be getting something big or super thrill and there last two coasters have been Lightning Run and Storm Chaser. Heck they even made T3 somewhat rideable. I would've never thought now would be a B&M hyper, hence it isn't. From the name it sounded more like a ride, cause if this had been any form of a flying coaster that would've been kinda a wierd choice in my opinion. And it'll definitely be better than Invadr or woodstock express, etc. Gravity Group is whom you go too when asking for a family wooden coaster. I would like to see more mid-sized ones though (like Mine Blower). And TImberliner trains on Voyage.
OneAndOnlySound The PTC rolling stock is what makes Voyage so insane! Plus when an older coaster gets timberliners, they amplify the roughness. Look at Hades reviews after its redo in 2013.

Iron Animations There’s actually an option to put the Timberliner trains on a regular PTC/GCI track, you go into options > game > and tick the box saying “changer interlocking trains” and you can swap trains.

Is it just me, or do the concept animations look like they were done in Planet Coaster rather than NoLimits? Not that that's a bad thing.

well planet coaster isn't a accurate simulation software so yeah i can understand why people are mad
looks-like-kristoff why be mad? Your not riding the coaster on the computer. Plus it is somewhat accurate to real world.

actualy i like theam using planet coaster which is my favorite theam park simulation game and it give the game free advertizing
