4:09 two years late to this, but i've actually managed (on a regular playthrough) skip the entire level by precisely jumping over to the canon with a wall jump. im not sure if this is even doable since i was playing on the updated version of the game, but if it's possible it could save you a bunch of time if done correctly

In act 8 at the start you can wall jump to the cannon that's how it took me 10 seconds to finish just giving you a tip
