The tymo looks more poofy than the other to me Update: I ended up buying both and trying them both out for myself and the rifny does a way better job than the tymo. I also noticed that the tymo straightener pulled my hair way more than the rifny straightener I ended up gifting the tymo to my friend who has less course hair than me and keeping the rifny for myself 😁
I have one called straight ahead and it doesn’t leave your hair poofy but it leaves it poker straight. Mine was $140 best thing ever it was worth the money. It’s originally $350 but I got it for $140
I bought the TYMO because of this video! I can't wait to use it, it just came in the mail today 😍. UPDATE: I used it!! (I realized after the fact that I accidentally bought the newer model, not this exact one ugh) So ...I love the product but I don't like how hard it is to cleam. I straighten my hair about once a year because I get the crispiest ends when I do, I always have to chop off 2 inches, because there's no recovering the hard crispy ends after flat ironing (yes, with a fine comb in front). That being said, I wanted to give this a go. Wow the ends are just as, if not softer than, the rest of my hair. This didn't leave the ends crispy at all. I can't stop touching my hair, it's so damn soft. My hair is a little curlier than yours and I used it at 390 degrees and I did one pass on each section, somewhat slowly but not as slow as I would go with a flat iron. I held it upwards instead of pulling down and I have so much volume. I am quite impressed. Like I said though, it's HARD to clean. I found that a pipe cleaner from the craft store works perfectly to get in the grooves. Even though I don't straighten my hair too often, the fact that my ends are not crispy whatsoever is enough reason for me to keep it. At $50 you can't beat that. I'm glad I came across this video. I've actually straightened my hair three more times since this post because I'm that impressed with how good my hair feels after it's straightened.
Thanks for your review my hair is just like yours and i was skeptical about buying a straightening comb newer version and you just help my choice hey I wanted to ask you one quick question my cousin have kind of short hair and thin permed hair if she wanted to try this instead of perm would it work for her hair type
@@Mia_M I use Tresemme heat protectant spray! Also, I bought a pack of pipe cleaners from Joanne's and they work perfect to clean it. They were cheap, so the pack should last me a while.

I don't think so many passes on a strand of hair at 450 is a good idea in the long run.. 😕 Plus you use two different temperatures on each side which is not really fair.
Amelia Earhart she’s always said that the part of the hair she did with the TYMO is her curlier part. That half of her hair is curlier and frizzier than the other half. Maybe it’s why the TYMO one didn’t look better right away 🤷🏻♀️

Her ends were "blah" bc she used a straightener. That device is not meant to seal or curl your ends. As someone with naturally curly hair I can tell you that at home plug in devices will never keep your hair super straight like what a trained hair stylist can do in the salon. Julissa was sweating and getting hot bc she could probably cook a meal on that straightening comb! Your hair looks exactly the same on both sides, and smooth too. I liked your hair before you straightened it. You had a natural perm. I would love that. Anyway, your hair looks very nice either way.
Do you use and hair protection sprays or straitening oils? I would recommend one if not both so it doesn’t get frizzy after (especially if you live in a humid place) and just to protect your hair in the long run.
if you want straight hair recommend u do chemical rebonding. is very drying to ur hair if fry with high temperature everytime u do it with this straightening brush. and only occationally touch up with tymo if needed.
I have the tymo and very similar hair to yours and feel it starts feeling frizzy soon after i use it too, so i usually do a quick twist style to make it more like waves which i feel helps the frizz sitch, do you feel me?

Jesus Christ, do not tell me that the sentence "This is how my hair look like, just without any product" you meant you are not using any thermal/heat protector/styling???? Specially at a such high temperature!!! 😱😱😱
I think she knows that.. But, for the video, public have goals like authenticity, or credibility, that's means no effects products on hair..
Don't accuse anyone who just love share nd deserve you neutral informations to do the best choice for yourself at shopbag moments.
Your natural hair is adorable!
Hi! I saw an ad on Facebook selling a brush and you appear there , the problem is ....it don't look like u are using the same brush ....can you please answer me?
The name of the company is fixemap
I saw it too!!!
You look great with both types of hair ... curly & straight ..
Your hair looks exactly the same on both sides, and smooth too. I liked your hair before you straightened it. You had a natural perm. I would love that. Anyway, your hair looks very nice either way.
thank you! 💕
You sound a lot like this Dominican chef I watch on UA-cam. I love her food.
No usaste la parte posterior del cepillo que es para darle vuelta al cabello
You should try the Steampod from L'oreal, there is nothing like it. It's amazing!
Joana Oliveira I cant figure out how to buy one. Where do you get them?
Do those two straightening combs straighten all the way to the root?
Maybe you should use a serum on your ends to straighten it and also also as a heat protectant
Would you recommend the tymo for kids? I’d like to straighten my daughter’s hair but she hates the heat.
Do you doobie your hair after blowing it out or straightening it?
your curls are so pretty
Do you use and hair protection sprays or straitening oils?
I would recommend one if not both so it doesn’t get frizzy after (especially if you live in a humid place) and just to protect your hair in the long run.
Hey I just saw you in a commercial promoting a hair drying comb similar to the Tymo. The website is FIXEMAP. Are you getting paid for this?
Good looking out! I hope she sees this!
good look woool, girl came to Brazil, so cute
if you want straight hair recommend u do chemical rebonding. is very drying to ur hair if fry with high temperature everytime u do it with this straightening brush. and only occationally touch up with tymo if needed.
Where did you get that red blouse? So pretty
I like the way your natural hair looks so much 😃😃
Can you do a review on the L’Oréal Steampod 3.0. Please thank you. By the way your an absolute hunz.
Awesome video....who won the tymo giveaway??
I purchased Tymo today.
Does the Tymo get fairly close to the roots?
Wow your hair looks amazing o like the right side great video
You are beautiful! Your look reminds me of the actress Tatiana Maslany. ❤️
wow this tymo brush is amazing! putting this on my xmas list lol thanks!
You should haves used them both at the same temperature, obviously on side is going to be straighter.
Hmmm...
I have the tymo and very similar hair to yours and feel it starts feeling frizzy soon after i use it too, so i usually do a quick twist style to make it more like waves which i feel helps the frizz sitch, do you feel me?
Your hair is sexy curly. Thats coming from a straight married woman. Very pretty. I have very very curly hair and way behind the times when it comes to products out there. Thank you for the really detailed reviews.
Hi julissa.I want to ask you. This straightening comb is permanent or life full day.
Hi Julisaa. I'm from India please telme how do I purchase this tymo brush ? Please telme the procedure I will be very thankful 😃
Depends on how long it lasts, minutes or days?
Hi Julissa had ever used the calista triangle brush is similar to those but you can do waves
Which heat protectant did you use?
hello from the other side 🇸🇦keep going 🌹🌹🌹
THANK YOU for making this video!!! I have been debating between the 2
Can one of those brushes touch your scalp without getting burnt?
These straighteners do not get close enough to the root for me.. and I don't use anything that i need to do multiple passes with.. too damaging
Have you done a review for the Lange straightener brush? It would be awesome
Juli me gustan tus vídeos. Pero ojalá pudieras ponerles subtítulos en español. No entiendo ni papa del Inglés 🤣
Hi! I was looking for an affordable straightener comb and after seeing your video I decided to buy the tymo during the Black Friday. It arrived this morning and guess what? I loved it! It's also amazing for traveling. The gloves and the hair clips are really useful for me. Also I have a curly hair and I liked it. I needed a comb like that because i just use it in my roots to soft the volume and frizz. I finished doing that a minute ago. It is amazing. Thank you for the super helpful video.
Btw, a saw some videos before but the girls have already straight hair, so how can you be certain it will be helpful for you?
