I could tell 15 streamers (mainly not na, as i dont come from there) spot-on although i usually don't watch streams. But if i were asked to name a UA-camr who makes videos about the LoL - history, what was changed and how the game developed since then, i would be able to name one. And guess whom. And a lot of Streamers/UA-camrs dont come even close to this amazing video quality. P.S. personally i like most that i dont need to actually watch the video and listening is enough to comprehend it. Yes, with watching the background cinematic it is awesome aswell. But i don't need it so much. But if i watch a streamhighlight, i need to see the screen, everything is loud and so on. Playing as a group of 5 is exponentially more fun than playing solo. Hopefully the rest of the league community will eventually realize this game isn't made to be played solo.
You know .. even if i don´t totaly agree with your point there is some truth to it ! Back in the old Days when we played Counter Strike 1.5 1.6 in the ESL ... you knew the 4 Guys that played in your Team .. so if you lost .. you lost as a Team. But as ESL Gather came into the play .. where Random ppl build 5 man Teams in for an Instant Ranked Clash ( basicly Solo q in LoL ) things got rly shit rly fast .. and thats know exactly what we have in League again. The Ranked System .. MMR thing simply doesn´t work for Solo Q. There is no personal rating on your Performance in the Game. So you basicly are always dependent on your Teammates and THEY basicly decide espacily in the State of League if you climb or not. If i have en Inter or griefer or AFK in my Team .. basicly my Game is lost .. Its rly not that often anymore that you lose a game based on a Teamfight or the Enemy made a better move. Its about who has the less retarded Guys in the Team it feels .. sad but true.
clash is 1 million times more fun than solo queue hands down, even for a gold team like mine. just the satisfaction of working together and not inspite of others feels very satisfying even after a loss
Yeah, but you have to pay for it… (Maybe after I buy every champ and all runepages I want, I will be ok with buying these clash tokens.) Another problem is that finding a team makes 1 hour +. Which is then so depressing if you lose all games.
@A___A B___B Sure I can. I actually spent like 16K on chroma skins. But IDK, maybe I am weird, but I feel like it is better to buy chromas than to play a game, for which you have to write messages to like 30 guys to finally get a team. The money isn't any big problem. The big problem of Clash is the waste of time. Well, If I was the guy who gets invite and just play it, it could be fun. But I was always the head of a team, also in one online tournament I was in. I just feel like the time is not worth it. And I got sick of it. The worst is when your teammate leaves just few minutes before Clash starts. IDK, if I'll get invited, I can try it sometimes. But never trying to find my team again. But still I feel weird to spent BE for "just a different gamemode". Maybe I will change my opinion sometimes.

I would like to adjust this a little: In soloq, you are not forced to cooperate and you are not punished individually if you play (intentionally) poorly. The only judgement of your playstyle you are forced to receive is the "Victory/Defeat" Screen. You do not have to take any feedback and reflect on your mistakes.
@@Exil22 *Also I think Rito clearly has a problem of biases when it comes to solo carry, I've been talkin about this in other videos, but Rito CLEARLY has the solo carries and the shall not solo carry, in my really big text example, I'll make a resume here ofc, I said how insanelly strong solo caries can destroy games in examples as Fiora, Jax, Pyke, Karthus, Yasuo, Qyanna, Diana, Veigar etc are way too busted compared to marksmen, when u think about carry if insta think about AD Carry as marksmen, but the real AD Carries aren't marksmen, in fact most of the AD Carries are top laners or other melee champions, I may be a low elo noob but I'm an ADC main and I'm always mad, since I've started in 2k18 playing everything till I came to play ADC as well, how the half of Season 8 the carry potencial of marksmen was gone, totally gone and even now 2 years later the carry potencial is still missing, just 'cuz MF is strong and Aphelios is broken dosen't mean the marksmen are OP or anything, they'r just 2 champs strong in the weakest role, while the whole itself is weaker every patch, at least now with the base health buff it may change a bit the snowball problem, since if ur mid can't roam or snowball u have 90% the enemy mid lane will stomp ur bot lane since is a 3v2 and better support wins, also we have the hyper carry in jungle as Master Yi and top laners as Yorick, Fiora and Jax, anyone besides a marksmen can hard snowball a game and basically solo carry, u could say Kog Maw is good as solo carry, but lets remember how ridicously weak is early mid game, same goes on Vayne, and their strength appears at late game, when basically the game is already lost, the enemy carries will be almost or full build, they can either split or win a tf alone, like Jax, and u'll just watch as ur team dies or can't protect u, marksmen requires itens, mechanics and positioning in tf, while other carries mostly need to position in a way to get u off guard and one shot u, then if ur team has no other carry the game is gone, ur team won't protect u, won't ward, u'll have to position really safe in tfs to find a chance to deal damage while looking for burst dangers, also to finish my statement, lets take a look the HUGE diff between AP Carries and ADCs (marksmen) items and scalling, with 1300 95% of the mages has mana, AP, cooldown with the first item path while ADCs with the same 1300 has ONLY 40+ AD and nothing else, also lets stick at the kit diff, skill cap and fighting style, a mage can one shot or immobilize any ADC if they get in range even when fed, is pretty clear for me who are the real carries, sorry for the long text*
With that mentality you will lose a lot. God knows how many games I'v lost this season due to people picking champs that either doesn't work in our comp, into the enemy comp or that the player him/herself doesn't know how to utilise the chosen champ. Sometimes you have to bite the sour apple and suck it up for the team if you want to win. Even soloQ is play as a team.

The biggest mistake Riot made was removing 5v5 Ranked Team, just to replace it with Flex queue. I miss having a real team with friends/teammates, with a shared rank. It made the games matter so much more and way more fun. You truly get the feeling of, this is the way the game was meant to be played. Flex queue does not even come close to that feeling. Clash does bring back a lot of that back and is fun to play, but it lacks that good sense of progression and can only be played rarely...
yep, going 5 man on flex will only get your team punished hard when faced with higher elo enemies. But hilariously fun (or boring) when you face lower elo enemy team.
Flex queue is known as the "queue to practice champs and untilt". It's so sad. Also the rank hold no value since you can carry people so easily. I've seen "challengers" in flex, but solo queue hardstuck d4
@@Arkantos1900 that is not precisely true. especially at a challenger lvl flex is actually way harder cause its challengers communicating with each other and you might be on a 1-1-3 teams vs a 5 man premade. low elo flex is easier though
"Maybe SoloQ sucks because it's not fun to play by yourself" While there's truth to this, there's a vast difference between playing with people who are trying to win but don't communicate as much as a 5-man premade would, and playing with people who are either not trying to win or are actively trying to lose. SoloQ would be vastly improved if people who griefed were punished for their actions, and this... while I assume not intended, feels like a way of sweeping that necessary change under the rug. Otherwise, great video. And props to MikeYeung for continuing his grind. I truly hope he makes it back and finds what he's worked so hard for.
"if I'm not good enough to go pro, why would I be good enough for UA-cam" Personality Interesting ideas Or heck diamond 2 statistically speaking is already really high since that's just like 1 pecerntish of League players playing ranked so people already can start admiring you/seek advice I dunno why it bothers me when people might think "oh I'm just diamond 2" when they should look at it "oh I've made it to diamond 2! And I am one of few players who can do that consistently! Good job me!" kinda wished league content creators in general wouldn't be looking down so much on anything below like Masters :/ Anyway you're a great UA-camr man and your content is absolutely amazing. :)
@Baxi Tabaxi so an engineer can't teach other engineers unless they're one of the best 1,000 in their region? You don't need to learn from the best when you're new to something or bad at it. Someone who is within the top 5% of their field absolutely has something to offer most people, especially since most people won't be able to tell the difference between the top 5% and top 1%
@Baxi Tabaxi Okay. Let's try this analogy again. Is someone who played a sport in college qualified to coach children, or can only professional athletes coach children? Anything a chally can teach someone in gold that a diamond can't will go over the gold's head. So a mid diamond has the same value to someone in gold as a challenger player does, just like having a professional athlete coach your little league team should yield similar results to someone who only played college ball because that extra knowledge and experience isn't relevant for a child.
@Baxi Tabaxi It's funny how you make an argument, than someone questions you and you make a counter argument to your own argument. "Well if low level desk employee did this he'd be fired." "Well it isn't fair to compare video game sport to real life." Well which one is it you confused angry tryhard?
One of the best things in this game is having a teammatte that knows what your team can do together, which doesn't happen that oftem nowdays, specially in low elo, because league's average player base suck at the game, sometimes it doesn't matter how good you're playing, you still lose because your team is not on the same page, i hate this 1v9 menatily that the game finds itself right now.
Totally agree. I think a lot of it has to do with the massive focus from some content creators on "USE THIS CHAMP IN SEASON X TO SOLO CARRY YOUR WAY TO CHALLENGER" when the focus should be on becoming a better team player. Everyone thinks they HAVE to 1v9 or else they lose, when in reality it's sometimes better to help someone else carry.
@@sillyredsheep2421 This is the second biggest reason as to why I am a dyed-in-the-wool support player. Not a 'support' player like people who pick brand/lux/vel'koz/other cheese champs. Y ou can bet your ass I'm likely gonna pick Leona, Alistar, Thresh or Nautilus. Plenty of CC but not great sustain? Soraka/Sona/Nami. Need crazy peel? Braum, Janna, Lulu. Pro play is cool/fun to watch (minus na), soloq is just a cess pool of shit and even if you do everything right in your role your chances of winning dont necessarily increase and it makes it hard to even learn what you should do better.

@Vogelmilch its just like that in bronze and low silver. You can see it on how they write in chat. That was the same complaint i had back 1 year when i started league for the first time, played in bronze and climbed my way up to plat. But i can tell you the problem you have with this kids will go away as higher you climb but the game still has somewhat the same problem. In g2 to low plat range you have a smurf fiesta. Everyone whos low dia/mid dia plays on his smurf acc on g2 to low plat because they are hardstuck diamonds. They realize they wont get higher than dia and want to have some fun in g2--low plat. This results in them either steamrolling over your teammates or intfeeding because they dont care and already gave up the match. You will find out that your success is completely reliant on who gets more smurfs in his team and which smurfs are actually interested in winning the game. You will realize that the outcome of the game is not in your hands because your not fairly matched with players at your skill level. All in all the reason changes the higher you climb but solo q still sucks.
@@Brakiros it is and people already mentioned it a lot. Riot knows this exists and they try to fix it. They now try to punish players harder and earlier for wrong behaviour. They will add a new matchmaking system next season that can identify smurfs and let them play against their real skill level instead of beeing able to roll over lower players. But promised changes like this were told to us by Riot a lot in the past and everytime something headed in this direction gets added it doesnt change anything.
Here in SEA region (labeled as the most toxic server by many particularly in the Philippines) there is only a little percentage of those players who really care about team effort. That’s what makes me so frustrated even if you play your game the right way. Just a small mistake they’ll call you out and that will eventually ruin your game. People here are more kill oriented rather than team effort and objectives, that’s what I think why soloQ sucks (at least in our region). Climbing at least up until gold division here is already achievement because of the toxicity players bring in the game.
@@raffyapolinar487 you can go with mute all by default set in the settings. I use that aswell, it makes it so that you can focus on your own gameplay and mistakes instead of having to deal with toxic people. Soloq is different to comp play, this you cant change. Ill take one example: In the mid game in pro play adcs are always mid while mid laner and top laner go sidelaning. This makes it so that you have faster wave clear mid and your adc (which is the role to kill objectives) can roam to bot or top and pressure turrets after mid shove (or can faster rotate to drake/baron while securing mid prio). In Soloq below mid dia people dont even understand this basic concept and you will often see 2 playes sharing xp and gold, because one person doesnt understand the basics. As a result you have to shit on team effort to not fall behind. There are far more examples i could bring now but i guess you understand what i mean. You cant rely on your teammates because they will make you fall behind by wrong decision making if you do.

I always wait for your videos. Your style of videos are simply amazing. Thank you so much for keeping us entertained during these hard times. Such an amazing video
Playing by your self worked fine back before the ruin, and mastery changes. The reason why it worked is because of how the game was. The lane phases were long enough were your mistakes were not as punishing because you had the time to correct them. One of the main things people don't think about when it comes to making the matches short is mastering your champions. If the lane phase is around 10 mins it takes on avg to get a enemy tower down that does not give you match time at all to learn when you should trade, When you should back, when you go all in with the champion you picked to get good with. Back when the lane phase was 20 to 25 mins before towers start falling gave players more time to get use to what ever champion they want to master. The most important parts of mastering a champion is 1v1, or 2v2. The basic fundamentals are best learned when you can 1v1, or 2v2 in a lane. The most important things you need to learn don't come from team fights. they come from the lane phases. What happens when you shorten that time? Well you don't learn anything when 4 players come to your lane and remove the tower. The only thing that does is force the enemy players to now roam in different lanes, then it forces you to help other players rather then you getting use to your champion, and learn were your limits are. The changes Riot made hurt solo Qs ability to learn, and develop skills that are needed in order rank up. Many people complain that they hated long matches back in the day, but those long matches allowed players to get better at the game, and it helped players get better working as teams. When matches end very fast or players surrender at 15 most of the time if they don't have a lead, what did you really learn from that match? I bet players would say I learned there are to many feeders, or trolls. The issues we see in today's League of Legends comes from short matches, and the changes riot did to the ruins, and Mastery. If you don't have time to think, don't have time to see were your limits are then why would you care about anything in really in the match? Why care if the match is that short? If I don't get the time to learn, or get the time to developed what would be the point?
I have been playing League for 6 years more or less. When i started the game i didn't have the slightest idea of how to play for example i vividly remember that i couldn't even distinguish top from bot and mid i was so trash. But eventually thx to my friends i learned how to play and after four years i finally found that my calling it was support (all of them but mainly thresh, leona nami). So for a while i had so much fun i was joking around with my pals improving at my role but also playing whatever i wanted. That was my golden era. But after this it was only downhill from there. To begin with, my friends are better than me in the game because they have been playing for way longer than I have and also are very interested in searching and watching things related to the game to improve themselves. We reached a point where when we entered the game even the slightest thing was a reason for my friends to complain about the game. At times i were spending 45 minutes with my friends and the only thing they did was saying: This is broken this is busted etc etc. It was so fucking tiring imagine having an exhausting day and instead of having some fun with your friends they were just complaining ( i did use to complained as well but not nearly as much like only 1 minutes or something like that while my friends could go on for the ENTIRE GAME). My point is that while lol can be fun in my opinion nine times out ten you only have fun during the first two games at most and after that its only going downhill from there. I have more or less quit the game now and am playing anything besides that. I am thankful to lol for the fun times and its even the cause of me meeting one of my greatest friend but i really do think that most of the time it causes you actual harm. This is just my opinion. I dont even bother talking about ranked. Also me and my friends are ok we are all smart enough not to let a trash game like lol to ruin our friendship ( but while we were playing it was hell for me because they were acting as if they were pro players and knee everything )
Your videos are successful because they’re high quality! You go in depth with good insights, quality production and a pleasing tone of voice and speaking pattern. It’s obvious you’ve put effort in, and that stands out on UA-cam. You deserve every bit of success you have, and much more.
I've been playing since season 3 and if there's one thing that I've learned throughout the years is that, paradoxically, people try a lot harder in normals than they do in ranked. In normals, you actually see people trying to make their odd picks work, or trying hard to learn a new off role. In ranked nobody gives a fuck. 90% of players seem to play ranked in an extremely casual way, and act completely oblivious to stuff happening around the map. I rarely get that impression in any other online game.
True. I basically only play normals, and some ranked games, and I see people flame more in normals than in ranked. It has always been very strange to me, honestly. I even have a harder time winning a normal game, than winning a ranked game.
Pretty much have the same experience, my normal games are of higher quality most of the times. Then again I've been playing since season 2 and have only spammed ranked games in season 3. In normals I gets matched with diamond+ players a lot while my ranked games contain mostly plat players as I just boost my account to plat every year and then quit.
I mean I love your channel specifically because of how much effort you put into your content. It really shows with almost cinematic quality which really differentiates you from other leaguetubers.
Man, I will never forget those amazing tournaments online I was playing with my friends, the rp we won, the city tournaments, playing as a five, damn I was on my weakest role and those are the best memories I have from playing League of Legends, as a 5, playing against other teams and winning, this was amazing Hopefully riot will realize that Clash doesn't work as it is supposed to work and bring online tournaments back
I really don't usually comment, but these videos are so well put together, so passionately excecuted that i watch every single one. Keep up this kind of work, because these are some of the best videos on yt. Also i don't even play league, just watch lec and some lcs
I've been playing since season 2 and I always thought flex queue or team rank was more exciting and serious compared to solo queue. Some people say that "Flex queue is just for goofing around with friends and the real deal is the solo queue." But honestly, me and my friends try much harder and feel more fun playing flex. On the other hand, solo queue is just a chaos of toxicity and rage where everyone just becomes a bunch of barnacles including myself. I don't know about other regions but in my server (KR) people start fighting from pick/ban stage untill the end of the game, one or two people just intentionally ruin the game for everyone else just because something got on their nerves for one second, making it hard to keep your cool. If someone finally snaps and says one curse word to someone who's been trolling for 24hrs, they get banned while the troll keeps playing (kinda like what happened to Dunkey on his last league video before he got banned). I really loved this game when from when I started even up untill a few months ago, but nowdays I feel like I'm loosing the interest that I had for years, due to the fact that riot doesn't show much care to put an end to abusive users and the fix the lack of recognition for individual effort in solo queue. Sad 😥
Well said my friend, its all same in every region, you should have fun while playing video games right ? but League of Legends... its pumping pure rage into your veins and all the air around you becomes toxic. Its more like torturing yourself... sad.
10:04-10:42 I pretty much agree that league needs to add voice coms to solo queue. Playing Clash feels so much different than solo queue and it makes me think what the games could be like actually communicating with your teammates and working together to win. And at the end, Voyboy is right. Solo queue has many issues and Riot needs to make changes.
Soloque is very toxic. I would rather see text of people complaining, than hear people screaming at me through the mic. This might also introduce more toxicity for people with certian voices (kids, females), and people might complain in all chat if one of the members doesnt have a mic, bringing them to a disadvantage. Also, if they say something reportable in all chat, it's harder to moderate. Though not impossible.
This is easily one of the most superb videos anyone has ever made about League in general. So glad I could experience and understand this masterpiece on a deeper level, seriously. Thanks for the upload!
What I like from you is that you're never flat out negative, even when talking about the blatant issues in the game, and that's really refreshing considering how much frustration has come out from the community since the last couple of months. Whatever the topic is, your content is actually rational and composed and actually gives a interesting point of view worth discussing
I don’t comment much but I just want to say that you’re one of the only people who can make a 30 minute video and not have me bored throughout. Your output is good too. Keep up the good work man
I dont think solo queue will ever be a great experience until Riot introduces a voice comm for a team that doesn't require you to be in a party because it is such a team focused game.
And i believe it would end with MAJOR harassment issues... LoL might be a team focused game, but the player base is literally fucked up. I really believe we have the worst ingame community ever. People are saying some real distribing shit nowadays.
Man, i do agree at some point but is it fun hearing dog barks and car noises in the background? Or even an angry mom saying about a chancla or something...in the end you'll mute them...
Valorant is different. FPS does not have dedicated roles like pure support with no damage output. If both team has a large skill gap, there ain't anything that can fill the gap. That single sharpshooter on enemy team can just play any gun and still carry their team. ---------- League? Long gameplay, dedicated roles, strategy (early, mid, lategame) , intense itemizing, positioning...... Yeah the voicecom is gonna be toxic af when newb can't follow the thinking of pros. (I too been that newb armor tanker when enemy is full AP)
not done the video yet, but just quoting you real quick "for whatever reason" because the quality of your content is amazing, informative and just really fun to watch, always the highlight of the day whenever i see a video of your pop up
I'd still flame or complain but it would be calling out their shit move. I feel like having tighter honor level requirements surrounding it would be beneficial too.
They think it's toxic now but.... In my opinion lmao it would make it worse. Do you know how many times a day i get told "your champs sucks"(because trynd ult and sustain lmao) or "you're trash"(because I'm an actual trash can but doesnt mean i want to be reminded) or ? Well... With voice coms in everygame how many people gonna be playing loud porn in the background, talking even more, worse trash, etc.... The solution? Mute everyone every game anyway so it would just be back at square one for a majority of players because it would be like not having voice coms in solo que anyway... And besides all of that: That's what discord is for 😆 😆 😆
I don't think voice comms fixes anything in an age where people who wants to communicate have discord, teamspeak, etc. especially when people don't tend to talk to randoms unless its to flame in the first place. Voice comms wouldn't change peoples behavior because the issue is most players don't know how to play from behind and also don't know how or actively choose to be against getting carried by a team mate. This leads to constant, instantaneous rage and giving up within the first 5 minutes of the game because players simply don't trust other people to know what they're doing and assume the only way to win in solo queue if you are the one solo carrying from an enormous lead. Also most people who don't use voice comms, still won't be using voice comms because they either can't be bothered, don't care, or actively don't want to use it. This would lead to people instantly getting mad that the people who aren't using voice comms are causing the game to go badly. Plus has anyone ever used voice comms with randoms before? In Mobile Legends (yes, that mobile bootleg) high ranks usually always use in-game voice chat, since it's so fast paced it's almost impossible to play it individually, team action happening everywhere, ganks, skirmishes, invades, it really feel like a team game, then we have League's top lane...

I really want less solocarry potential in this game. I miss enabling my teammates with CC and tankstats and play for big teamfights. Im tired of this boring oneshot meta where its all about who can snowball harder.
theres only 2 types of gameplay at the current game Sustain/life Reg like in Season 1 (Nasus,Maokai etc.) or the oneshot Style into snowball but worse than in Season 3 because even tanks can oneshot. Miss S4 man it was balanced.
Yeah it is very depressing. Its like Riot has no idea what class roles should be like, everything does damage, everything has potential to kill in a 1v1. It's not... Okay. A tank, is suppose to be a disrupter, with stuns, cc, and catch potential for the rest of the team to finish. They shouldn't be able to 100-0 someone. Assassin's should be those people to 100-0 someone but if caught they die for it all.
idk, "anything can snowball" is pretty incredibly vague. destroying it in lane give you an item advantage, and that itself snowballs anything. so of course anything can snowball because items exist :p
@@theroguearceus2869 But right now the whole meta revolves around it. No one tries to play safe, there is an allmighty counterplay meta where you are fucked when your champion get easily countered. Just looking at the best supports show you the problem. The best supporter are snowballer like Pyke, Nautilus and Pyke or permaprotecter like Soraka. Yuumi is a champion that does both: Gets you safely through laningphase and then hops on the snowballer to make him unstoppable. Nothing is methodical, nothing is new. 50% of all games are decided in champion select. Are you Darius or Sett? Congratulations, you will now win every melee matchup. Enemy ganks make it less likely, allied ganks make it more likely. You could play Yorick if you like playing him, but why would you? You will loose against most melees and every ranged carry. Of course the rules about ganks apply and you can hope that your opponent also plays suboptimal champions. Does that sound fun to you?
This and stricter, harsher punishments. This 10 games limited chat into 30 games into your first ACTUALLY meaningful punishment is just absurd. I don't care if someone's "having a bad day" or "a bit tilted from the past couple games." If you grief/int, you should be perma banned without any recourse. Sure, I'd probably have my account banned by now if that was the case, but if this was the attitude Riot had years ago I probably wouldn't have quit the game.

Bro they gotta add voice coms in game and not just in party. Sure people can get toxic but that's what a mute button is for. There's a large majority of us who understand the best way to win isn't to flame.
My teammates in the entire last year of playing this game disagree.. a LOT.. i uninstalled last week because i was absolutely done with the amount of flame and int on my team, and the trash talk of enemies. Every single game started to be frustration galore and i just couldn't take it anymore...
Let's be honest, you wanna know why we like your videos? For one simple reason: I don't give a damn about your rating, you are not here to provide Top 10 Challenger Gameplay, you are here to tell us about history and stuff outside of the macthes we play. I don't care about what letter+number combination marks your rank, if you have a point and can back it up with evidence and/or coherent reasoning, you could be iron 5 and I would not care about your rank. Or in other words: It's not about who delivers the message, if the message is worth it, everythign else is secondary. If your point is valid, it's valid, no matter if you are Rank1 or Iron5, simple as that. Okay apparently you are talking about NA in specific, at least in terms of CP. Because in EU for example, there are national leagues for every state and most players start either in first or second division of these national leagues, hope to get to EU masters and usually get picked up by LEC teams due to performance at EU masters.

@Baxi Tabaxi Just mute them. If they speak non sense just mute them and talk with those who want to say something useful. Like text chat but faster since you don't have to type.
Something ive been saying since season 2, it makes no sense for a team based pvp game to have a solo rank as the main ladder, unlike games like world of warcraft where you pretty much is required to queue as a team to compete in the ladder, imagine how crazy things would be of only 5s queue counted
imagine discrediting Dom's pro career just because some solo q guy named Tarzaned accused him of being boosted. Being in the pro scene is more of an achievement than being a rank 1 solo q challenger. That's a fact.
8:43 this is why I think there should be a different verion of the game for pro play. because it is also annoying for plebs such as yours truly to have champions you like nerfes due to pro play.
The title was a bit misleading, i still love the video such a different and rich content from the other legue of legends youtoubers, i feel like watching the same person and the same videos but with a different voice, but with i get to learn and understand many different things, znd basicly the only one who doesn't spam riot fix your game and trash talk literally everything. 16:05 That might be the case for higher elo but certainly not for elos below diamond.. you cant expect teamplay from iron or bronze players.. they have trouble understanding the game by their own so how are they supposed to put themself in the position of another player and not flame them for their own mistake? Why does riot want to go towards teamplay when only a small percentage of players are capable of it?

I completely agree with your point of view Exil, ive stopped playing league earlier this year after 10 years because it feels like you play against 9 people more often than you play team vs team. I have played only one Clash, but that was the most fun I've ever had playing League: working with my friends in a team where we could discuss strategy, make calls and do our best to win as a co-operative effort was truly wonderful for me, especially because I've always been a Support main at heart. While you CAN climb playing just Support, I really don't think I have the patience for it.
When I get a group of 3 peoples who are great players or end just I feel great synergy and the entire time we are supporting each other and backing up each othering. Warding and trying to win even when we are losing. It feels so rewarding and makes learning the game worth it. Their their is that one guy saying “diff team gg, can we please fucking surrender”
anyone remember heroes of the storm, it was a MOBA done by blizzard that essentially was constant team fights, and no real carry, it's most common complaint was that idiots felt like they were never able to carry there team, it was a MOBA 75% dedicated to the mantra there is no i in team, you had supports that actually had to be proactive, you had tank vs dps that actually worked, yes some stuff was broken but it faced the opposite issue to solo q lol, as it was super functional solo q but its toxicity came mostly from the nature of mobas and that last 25% i mentiond previously, simply put it, when everyone has no items and everything is built on team xp game instead of having an ego carry you will have issues with somone falling behind draging the entire team, this in my opinon is better as its a team game but the diffrence beteween lol and Hots is facinating and before you ask, Hots died cuase you could not uber carry and it didnt meets activisons greedy expectation, and also miliple fuck ups that blizzard made balance wise that screams amautres, stealth being a issue, butcher 1 v 5, stun city, overwatch take over, power creep, etc.

Solo Queue is fine, the younger generation is the sad part.
Playing as a group of 5 is exponentially more fun than playing solo. Hopefully the rest of the league community will eventually realize this game isn't made to be played solo.
Totally agree with you man
What if you don't have someone to play this with but you're good at mobas? Life kinda sux ngl
You know .. even if i don´t totaly agree with your point there is some truth to it !

Some NA colleges have it. My current school has a team but not my last school. I think this really would help.
I think the issue was that a full team got queued against another team which has a way higher elo.
yep, going 5 man on flex will only get your team punished hard when faced with higher elo enemies. But hilariously fun (or boring) when you face lower elo enemy team.
Flex queue is known as the "queue to practice champs and untilt". It's so sad.
Also the rank hold no value since you can carry people so easily. I've seen "challengers" in flex, but solo queue hardstuck d4
Ikr.. That was great. And flex rank now doesnt even matter, cause people can just carry you.
@@Arkantos1900 that is not precisely true. especially at a challenger lvl flex is actually way harder cause its challengers communicating with each other and you might be on a 1-1-3 teams vs a 5 man premade. low elo flex is easier though
"Maybe SoloQ sucks because it's not fun to play by yourself"
While there's truth to this, there's a vast difference between playing with people who are trying to win but don't communicate as much as a 5-man premade would, and playing with people who are either not trying to win or are actively trying to lose.

Or heck diamond 2 statistically speaking is already really high since that's just like 1 pecerntish of League players playing ranked so people already can start admiring you/seek advice
I dunno why it bothers me when people might think "oh I'm just diamond 2" when they should look at it "oh I've made it to diamond 2! And I am one of few players who can do that consistently! Good job me!" kinda wished league content creators in general wouldn't be looking down so much on anything below like Masters :/
Anyway you're a great UA-camr man and your content is absolutely amazing.

@@hanspeter-fs4in Sounds like the game is poorly moderated when that's the case of things
I wish I had friends to play with at my level of play. Its just so hard to find people at my MMR irl. Everyone online I try with plays a few games with me then we never talk again. That last statement is so true. Fun with friends, not as fun by yourself...

Thank you so much
Playing by your self worked fine back before the ruin, and mastery changes.
Only this man can make me watch an 18 minute league video

So true xD.
I'm kinda happy to see someone else saying this.

Man, I will never forget those amazing tournaments online I was playing with my friends, the rp we won, the city tournaments, playing as a five, damn I was on my weakest role and those are the best memories I have from playing League of Legends, as a 5, playing against other teams and winning, this was amazing
Hopefully riot will realize that Clash doesn't work as it is supposed to work and bring online tournaments back
I really don't usually comment, but these videos are so well put together, so passionately excecuted that i watch every single one.
Its more like torturing yourself... sad.

I pretty much agree that league needs to add voice coms to solo queue. Playing Clash feels so much different than solo queue and it makes me think what the games could be like actually communicating with your teammates and working together to win.
And at the end, Voyboy is right. Solo queue has many issues and Riot needs to make changes.
True
Soloque is very toxic. I would rather see text of people complaining, than hear people screaming at me through the mic. This might also introduce more toxicity for people with certian voices (kids, females), and people might complain in all chat if one of the members doesnt have a mic, bringing them to a disadvantage. Also, if they say something reportable in all chat, it's harder to moderate. Though not impossible.
This is easily one of the most superb videos anyone has ever made about League in general. So glad I could experience and understand this masterpiece on a deeper level, seriously. Thanks for the upload!
"cuz its not fun to play this game by yourself..." yep, that about sums it up for me.
What I like from you is that you're never flat out negative, even when talking about the blatant issues in the game, and that's really refreshing considering how much frustration has come out from the community since the last couple of months. Whatever the topic is, your content is actually rational and composed and actually gives a interesting point of view worth discussing
6:56 he going hard with his nose there
I don’t comment much but I just want to say that you’re one of the only people who can make a 30 minute video and not have me bored throughout.
@@Endless_Blossom Valorant has it inplemented
Man, i do agree at some point but is it fun hearing dog barks and car noises in the background? Or even an angry mom saying about a chancla or something...in the end you'll mute them...
Valorant is different. FPS does not have dedicated roles like pure support with no damage output.
If both team has a large skill gap, there ain't anything that can fill the gap.
That single sharpshooter on enemy team can just play any gun and still carry their team.

Just adding voice comms in LoL would literally change everything in League.
And besides all of that:
That's what discord is for 😆 😆 😆
@@rosssymphony6098 Yeah but look at Valorant, for example it uses voice chat and mostly from experience it's good.
Atleast 50% of the time it just results in people playing sound boards, loud music, trolling and screaming or at the very least, they just don't use it lol.

@@theroguearceus2869
But right now the whole meta revolves around it.
You hit the nail on the head on this video man, well done.
The main message of the video: RIOT ADD VOICE CHAT AND MUTE WITH IT JUST IN CASE!!!

16:05 That might be the case for higher elo but certainly not for elos below diamond.. you cant expect teamplay from iron or bronze players.. they have trouble understanding the game by their own so how are they supposed to put themself in the position of another player and not flame them for their own mistake? Why does riot want to go towards teamplay when only a small percentage of players are capable of it?

anyone remember heroes of the storm, it was a MOBA done by blizzard that essentially was constant team fights, and no real carry, it's most common complaint was that idiots felt like they were never able to carry there team, it was a MOBA 75% dedicated to the mantra there is no i in team, you had supports that actually had to be proactive, you had tank vs dps that actually worked, yes some stuff was broken but it faced the opposite issue to solo q lol, as it was super functional solo q but its toxicity came mostly from the nature of mobas and that last 25% i mentiond previously, simply put it, when everyone has no items and everything is built on team xp game instead of having an ego carry you will have issues with somone falling behind draging the entire team, this in my opinon is better as its a team game but the diffrence beteween lol and Hots is facinating and before you ask, Hots died cuase you could not uber carry and it didnt meets activisons greedy expectation, and also miliple fuck ups that blizzard made balance wise that screams amautres, stealth being a issue, butcher 1 v 5, stun city, overwatch take over, power creep, etc.
I love this video, I always enjoy playing with friends, even if someone just ints or feed is no problem, because I know this guy, he's my friend and I know he is just having a Bad game and we just chill, my U have his own kinda league, with little Teams and is amazing how just a bunch of LoL players can make such an incredible game.
