I've been working out via youtube videos for the last year, and just discovered this channel. This was such a good strength workout! This video deserves so many more views!
By far my preferred strength workout. Started using 6kg dumbbells having very little strength and feeling sore after every session. Now after a few months i am using 14kg dumbbells and about to transition to 16kg. Also tweaked some exercices over time by for example putting weight on my core during crunches. Gained huge muscle volume and mass (put on 4 to 5 kg of muscles within 2-3 months working out 5 times a week). This workout is the foundation of my strength training, I find using machines too easy / less intensive than this one. Will eventually complete these sessions by adding machine based exercises when i feel my progress stagnates for specific muscle groups. But just wanted to comment to point out that this video is underrated and can take you a very long way on your strength journey. I wish we could tip the trainer. Many thanks from France to Ashley, you are the man
Hi @leyendaProductions, thanks for reaching out. In the video we use 6Kg and 8Kg dumbbells. This can be adapted to what you are most comfortable using. ^BB

I’m sure he’s a lovely lad but does he really need to say “team” so much!
Back in my gym days, all the trainers said team. I personally like the word team. It means we are part of a team.
how heavy do the dumbbells need to be?
