Kelly Rowland must be a vampire, she has not physically aged in 20 years.
Her last meal is so down to earth and you can see true genuine joy in her eating it.
I was SHOCKED when she mentioned she's a mother, she still has the freespirited radiance of a single lady! (pun maybe intended)
I also was like wait did I somehow get older than her? She doesn't look like she's aged much since that Excel text.

I really love how Josh has developed into such a wonderful interviewer. There's been such a wide range of guests on the show, and he's so good with his ability to meet them where they are.
she mentions his bluntness in asking some questions but i think thats part of what makes him a fantastic interviewer. josh cuts through the usual PR bull that people are used to and asks questions human to human. of course, the food helps 😂

Josh in a former life worked in journalism, so I bet that's part of his skill. He's definitely developed over the course of doing these interviews though

The "Who did this?" every time Kelly really enjoyed something--so she could compliment the chef--was so funny and endearing.
Josh is such a great interviewer. "I just want to take a moment and bask in your joy" what a way to make someone feel comfortable and welcome.

I honestly believe this show is going to be the next Hot Ones, Josh has developed as an interviewer in such an amazing way and giving people the chance to eat their perfect meal is a great way to get them in the door. He even handled the topic of faith with so much engagement even though he’s not a believer. As an original GMM watcher that then began watching MK shows and then to this show it’s been amazing to watch his growth!
Honestly, Hot Ones wishes they were Last Meals.

I do agree that this is a step above. Not only is Josh a great interviewer, but the food is different every time. Each episode is a completely new experience.
Sean is also a fantastic interviewer, but the premise is getting a little stale. The interview and the reaction to Da Bomb really carry the show. There is not a single dull moment with with this.
I think Josh ON hot ones would be a great ep.

It's so much more intimate in nature due to the overarching theme. It's not about them as professionals, it's about them as people and that's really fun to watch.
I couldn't have cared less about Kelly Rowland before this video, but I think I've got a crush now.
Watching Kelly feels like watching a classic Hollywood star come alive. She's so classy but not in an uptight way, so naturally graceful, so well-spoken, and so full of life in her own way! Incredibly cool and lovely to listen to her talk with Josh.

This was delightful. She seems awesome. Great job to the team on the food, she clearly enjoyed it. And great job to Josh on the questions. It's nice to have an interview with Kelly where the interviewer isn't just asking about Beyonce the whole time and nothing about Kelly herself.
So encouraged by her joy! Refreshing from all the cynicism that usually accompanies the topic. Also respect to Josh for being able to have a conversation about faith and Christianity despite not being a believer. Appreciate the discourse.

I love how Kelly explained what happens after death to her child, letting him form his own opinions but also offering comfort, it’s so easy to not be honest or give an easy explanation ❤
Well, she didn’t exactly told the truth though. That whole thing with the light is kinda bullshit when the truth is even less scary: nothing happens when you die because you stop thinking. Just like falling asleep except forever. Simple as that… It must feel so good.
The Respectful type of interview she deserves! Gosh she’s so breathtakingly gorgeous, a true vision.
I always laugh so damn hard at all of the Last Meal episodes, but there is always something so fascinating about watching Josh open up *with* the people that he interviews. It's as if everybody, some of them being people who I've grown up watching or listening to, just melt and any "celebrity personas" that they may put up for the cameras or public eyes just vanish. Seeing Kelly's reaction to the cheeseburger and tacos had me wheezing with laughter for no good reason. It's just the kind of reaction that reminds people that celebrities are just people too, and they're just people, who just wanna eat a damn good cheeseburger and chase it with a damn good margarita and chase *that* with some damn good tacos. This series is always so heartwarming and I genuinely hope that you never run out of people to interview for them.

It’s so funny to see when Josh becomes more comfortable as the interview goes on in each of the last meals; sometimes he says or does random or cringe things but it’s so genuine because that’s how he is and it truly seems like he’s just taking to one of his buddies and I think that’s why last meal is so fun to watch.
She just redefined beauty for me. She's so beautiful that I feel guilty because I've never seen anyone as beautiful as her in my opinion. Not only is she beautiful outside but inside too. I feel like I've never thought of a girl as beautiful until now, i know it's not true, but that's how beautiful she is! This is so weird. It's like finding a new flower you've never seen before.

Ive never really watched any interviews with kelly rowland before but this interview made me just absolutely love her. Her humbleness, her positivity, the way she describes what she thinks happens after death, the way she gets so giddy over good food the way i do, this woman is a gem!

I noticed the double eyebrow raise when she said poisonous snakes. I could see the "um, actually" being held back in Josh. (There are poisonous snakes, but the danger noodles that the bite is dangerous, are venomous)

It's not that I wasn't a fan of Kelly's before, but I guess I just never experienced her much outside of Destiny's Child, and I have been missing out!!! She is an absolute delight! Another great one on the books team!!!!! Absolutely love this series!
