I knew Freeza was gonna win, but people don’t realize that Transformers aren’t these city-level fighters. There are some that be universal in the comics.

@@kingpizza1854 The real theme of this fight is that Megatron can hurt Frieza in some instances. Of course ideally Frieza can just one tap him but people's judgements are clouded because they think in EVERY death battle scenario where its a low diff there isn't any situation where the opposition damages the other which is simply not true. Its literally why Death Battle will say "in some cases X thing happens" or they say "in some scenarios this person can beat this person because of this thing".

I feel bad for DevilArtemis man. Dude put hours into animating this the best he could, took some creative liberties that even deviated a bit from the storyboards to put in some of his own artistic flair, was super excited to show his first Death Battle animation in a different format (he previously used SFM instead of blender) that he literally did all by himself, and posted how proud he was to show off the final product
And all people have to say is that the fight animation should've only been 30 seconds.
Dude deserves better; especially with all the IRL stuff he had going on and UA-cam demonetizing him left and right, there being so many remarks that his efforts were "pointless" must suck. Hope he realizes how much people appreciate him and all the work he does.

Saitama vs popeye(only the SFM part of that fight), batgirl vs spidergwen. Jason voorhees vs michal myers and this fight

Fortunately most people on his timelines are actually being incredibly supportive and praising. It’s just a very vocal minority of asshats who only care about the flashy bang bang explosions and refuse to pay attention to character analyses who are complaining.

Idk who said it but when someone said “they gonna pull some shi from the comics back from 1970 watch” that’s the thing that gets me annoyed when people react to death battle and only know stuff like anime. You can’t be upset that Megatron lasted as long when not knowing the real Megatron. The definitive version of characters are always from comics and mangas. IDW Transformers is vastly different then any other form of media that’s been portrayed. Don’t be upset. Be educated 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ don’t skip over them explaining their features and be lost as to why someone wins or can hang with someone you know. The funniest part is that DB didn't even talk about his comic feats a whole lot. They mentioned that he fought universal/multiversal opponents in the comics but the stuff they actually gave us numbers for came from the show. Like Megatron surviving an explosion that launched Cybertron.
So, even if they only watched the show it's still reasonable to assume that Megs can keep up. But, nah "they gonna pull some shit from the comics", he says...

Literally the PERFECT example of the worst kinds of reactors to Death Battle. Skipping the analysis in general, especially when it has a character they know little to nothing about. Don't know a single thing about an entertaining fight by expecting the fight to end in less than 5 seconds (Cause that will be so much fun for Transformer fans to watch), and complain non-stop even when the animation is amazing. It's also really funny, cause that's the majority of the DBZ fans in a nutshell when reacting to Death Battle, even if their character wins, they'll just complain

@@kouani1995 I dont really think it's a matter of being "right". Powerscaling in general is up for interpretation and what people will accept. For example, while they gave Frieza everything because its canon for him they actually didn't use Megatrons stronger forms in the fight since they're technically not in the official canon.
Why does that matter? Because in that material, Megatron fought against the concepts of Death itself and was doing stuff that'd even make Goku sweat (Transformers Manga).
Plus most of the time, what people think is "bias" is just when their fav character loses lol.

That couldn’t be further from the truth action might might be the main genre they talk about but, it’s not the only genre they watch. And they definitely do care about story when watching something. Fighting may be their favorite aspect as it is literally one of the things that drove anime to popularity. But rdc actually has reviewed anime where the is basically no boxing ie death note, your lie in April, promised neverland, Conan, Haikyuu, and they have referenced more than just these. I’m pretty sure they delved into other anime genres.

Wow I didn’t think I would see such a annoying video and comment section today but here I am…first of all just ignoring Megatron’s analysis and then getting annoyed that Frieza doesn’t win immediately is stupid af. Just because you and other people don’t know Megatron’s actual abilities doesn’t make them just disappear like they don’t exist. Frieza would definitely win this fight but Megatron is 100% strong in his own right and could hold is own for a while even if he loses in the end. Those comments that are like “This death battle is cap Frieza one taps” just clearly have only seen this reaction and have no idea what Megatron’s abilities truly are, and even if you can’t bothered to read the comics just watch the small bit of analysis they give Megatron…it’s not hard to just read a little just so you understand why this is a fight to begin with. This is easily one of the worst Death Battle reactions I’ve seen. The ignorance levels are absurd.
Man this reaction was disappointing. Like, y'all should have at least listened to the explanation after to understand why Megatron wouldnt just be some fly Frieza could manhandle.
That and the animations aren't an accurate representation of how the fight would actually go. The animation is just there for entertainment and they usually keep the fight close in animations so it's fun to watch. Hell, in some post fight breakdowns, the stats show the winner should have dogwalked the loser, but the animations never reflect this because it'd be no fun.

Im sure if frieza killed him instantly you wouldve been mad that the video wasnt entertaining enough. Frieza likes toying with his enemies. He was stronger than gohan, vegeta, krillin, and piccolo when he fought them, and he couldve killed them in his second or third form. He did not need his final form, he just wanted to use them. And still that fight lasted like 15 episodes. So him going gold and black isnt so crazy to consider. And the entire time before goku went ssj he couldve killed him but he didnt. Its nothing new. Plus Megatron is a lot more powerful than people give him credit for so yeah he could hang for a bit. Frieza still bodies him but it was more entertaining than a one shot battle. So chill

Guys should watch T. rex vs Palaeoloxodon by goji center. Its a long video but they have chapters if you want to skip to the fight. Just don’t start complaining because you didn’t watch the analysis portion.
This vid and the reactions to it sum up each fanbase pretty well. TRANSFORMERS fans know that Megatron more than likely wouldn't win, but are happy to see his powers and abilities get respect and love from DB. ON THE OTHER HAND, DBZ fans are upset this fight doesn't end in 2 seconds. Even though their pick won, its not enough for them. I may not always agree with the outcome of DB but I'm not gonna complain that hard because they're the ones doing the research and not me. Wish DBZ fans, as well as anime fans in general understood this
I can kinda understand though as a fan of both fr. Megatron wasn’t able too outpower or keep up with golden frieza. Black frieza who we know has too be wayyyy above his golden form got surprised attack by megatron which is wild when you think about it because black frieza just transformed. He wasn’t off guard at all and was full power, he could’ve dodged that attack with the speed difference honestly. It’s not like frieza was distracted or tied down,just annoyed at megatron shit talk 😂.

Does it really matter? Because at the end death battle stated that megatron couldn't keep up with frezia's power and speed at all, so frezia really shouldn't have struggled this much.

First of all the reason frieza is cut in half is because he was hit with anti matter from a black hole, because of... shit I forgot the equation... whatever all you need to know is that no matter how strong the matter is it will be annihilated without a trace. But it was a slow process so of course if Frieza has surpassed UI Goku then he is more than fast enough to dodge the anti matter. Megatron could keep up with Deceptigod who was powered by an entire evil universe. And fight evenly against Optimus Prime who trancends Death in the IDW continuity (Don't ask) so yeah these Cybertronians are actually universe ending threats. So hell yeah they can keep up with DBS characters, don't even get me started on Unicron and Primus.
Edit: So please as content creators yourselves hear them out and don't be ignorant. Let's be civil here and not be toxic DBZ or DBS fans cuz shit they are fucking relentless on how they defend Dragon Ball.
