    Memorize these 1 - 3 algorithms that i shortened:
    1:Rr2 B2 U2 Ll U2
    2:Rr' U2 Rr U2 F2
    3:Rr F2 Ll' B2 Rr2

How do I hold cube for these? I tried your #2 algorithm holding the parity up and towards me as shown in this vid, didn't work. Do I hold parity on the left side, right side, ??, instead??

Guys if you don't want to memorize it, there is an alternative way. If you know how to solve the 4x4, you should know about a parity where the yellow is facing you and you need to get it to the top to finish the yellow side. Do that same algorithm.

    Rw U2 x Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 3Rw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw'
What I've decided to stick with for parity solving the 5x5, as it is more mechanically similar to what I learned for the 4x4. Your method is a couple of steps shorter, though not as simple. (NB "x" is an R rotation of the whole cube about the X axis joining the RL sides)

In my opinion the 5x5 is easier then 4x4, idk why

Every time I do this my top and bottom centers get messed up... I tried it 6 times and always the same result

when it says Rr are you moving 2 layers? and when it says 2 at the end of a move are you doing 2 of those moves?

are you solving from the same side and not switching sides?

      just do it

    • @zoedale1930

DJcyberslash wait this is the same as the 4x4 parity

    • @ViperoK
      @ViperoK 6 років тому

its the same as the 4x4 parity and you can spit it into triggers and learn those, for example what i do on long algs is take a few moves and remember them and then once i need to use them i do those moves and then i look at the rest of the alg and do it, and once i have memerize the first 3-6 moves i move onto the next section and do it again.

you said there were no parodies in the original video

You're right. These are just speed bumps. And sometimes they can even be avoided.

it worked fine for me, are you sure that when it says Rr you moving 2 layers? and when it says 2 at the end of a move are you doing 2 of those moves?

@@ViperoK worst i got got was when i did parity 4 and it turned into parity 2, so i moved to parity 2 video and it turned back to parity 4.....but when i get parity 2 from the getgo and use this video, it works just fine.....makes me wonder whats the difference between 2 and 4 pt2. it would be nice if there was an easy way to remember the 15 steps for this one . at least parity 3 was only 11 steps, where steps 1,2, 10, and 11 were basically U of the center row and U' of center row, and steps 3-5 are the first 3 steps of right-alg, which i learned from 3x3, leaving only steps 6-9 to learn which was basically F U' F' U. but this....beyond the first 2 and last 2 steps, im still trying to figure it out. i dont want to get into the other 4 parities till i learn 2 and 3 because some of the other ones could turn into these 2 if you play around with the 4x4x4 edge parity in different combinations
