Cheakamus River and Lucille Lake - June 28, 2024 (warning, no fish were caught)

I fished the Cheakamus River half way between Whistler and Squamish (below Daisy Lake). The water was high (I knew this, but still wanted to see if I could find a fish - maybe a bull trout??) and roaring, but I found a couple nice holes to fish. Nothing. I didn't even see any fish sitting at the bottom of these holes. Lucille Lake was a shot in the dark - pretty lake, water was deep and clear all the way to the bottom, but I didn't even see a fish. Lots of downed logs sitting on the bottom. Whistler/Squamish is such a pretty area. I need to come back after run-off to try fishing it again.
