- This is day number five of my remote fishing trip into the Clearwater Mountains of north Idaho searching for wild cutthroat. It was a dry fly kind of day!

Hello Kevin - Thank you for the positive words and taking the time to comment. On this day I used 4 weight rods exclusively. For my purposes, they are ideal for dry fly fishing and are light enough to be sporting, yet robust enough for windy conditions or the potential larger fish.
@@KnowFlyZone-ck5ev I appreciate your quick reply. I absolutely love dry fly fishing with my 8 ft. 4-weight. In fact, I recently caught my biggest brown trout on it. Such a great battle! Thanks again and I look forward to future videos.
@@kevingarrett9694 I agree. Dry fly fishing is the best. That recent personal best brown trout on the dry must have been such a thrill! Those larger browns aren't hooked and landed unless one knows what they're doing. You obviously do. Keep up the good work.
Great video in small streams here in Washington I like to run an attractor on top and a small nymph below.
