thank you so much for showing the location to put the T it was staring to drive me crazy with my forge kit and the instructions dont give clear enough picture or description
Dang I installed this a couple hours ago and we managed to do it without taking off the throttle body thank goodness! I have long fingers but it was deffs a little hard. Everything else was easy as the the sound is so good! Even just at 1500rpm in normal drive I can get it to whoosh
@@Nwhproductions update- vacuum line was not clipped on properly 😂 popped off and car went into limp mode. Now we taking throttle body off to clip it on properly 😂 I’m in Australia and is going on a 1.4l mk7.5 :)
Hihi, a bov is not gonna aid in a tune. It’s really meant to release the surge which will only matter if ur car is dmn powerful haha. U will need a dp change for a stage 2 tune. Hope this helps!
Thx man not too sure I had ask some people and since the mk7 1.4 tsi does not have one is adviced to do so if I would like to do revo stage 2 or 1. But thx for the heads up haha new to this
@@Nwhproductions revo does not have a stage 2 for this car, I have the same car and on revo stage 1 , stage 2 you will need a down pipe which is not LTA friendly as well
Thanks for sharing the great job u done! I was not sure to install it on my mk7 but if you confirm that the engine response better and there is less lag i could give it a try!😊
Even a workshop was telling me stuffs like pedal box was useless, then i tried by myself and there is huge difference ,so i prefer to listen multiples sources…and 1.4 tsi gen3 ea211 might have some advantages on it,because the pressure drop consistently on gearshifts or on/off gas
For me I when I did the mod and had different people drive the car "my family" as they have driven it before they do feel that is helps in throttle response as you are releasing the back pressure on the turbo charger as the 1.4 Ea211 does not have one unlike the engine in the Golf M7 GTI.
Hey, just in terms of how you removed the boost tube, when removing the throttle body, how did you remove the vacuum tube because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove it. Even when following GFBs instruction of turning the tab etc. it still doesn't move. Thanks
I’m having the same issue I might just get the tap thing for the boost sensor like my 17 Jetta had for the dump valve I haven’t seen a video on explaining this tap on the vaccum end
There should be clips that are TIGHT that you need to remove it from, take the clips out of the slot and the charge pipe should start to slip out. Its easier if you remove the cold air intake depending on the model you are driving
It's not the same. In that car and engine wastegate is controlled electricity and it is very fast. It does everything. Bov not needed. Sounds like a baby fart with that bov 😀
It is'nt useless. This gadget save your turbo. When you push hard turbo generate pressure but when you suddenly put foot from gas pedal, turbo generate pressure but it returning back this cause vibration on rotor and this cause damage on bearing or in worst case rotor may scratch body of turbo. Resonance is bad for rotor

Nice job man make sure all your clips are tight haha. Ya also in sg and what car did ya install this to?

Great video! Probably will swap over from the Forge Dump valve setup. Done dealing with a silicone charge pipe lol

I like the fmdv1 more i think, sound compared i mean
WAAAA DAMN SEXY THE SOUND
Hi, till now do you face any issues with the bov installed?
Hi there I have no issues. I will just advice to put a ziptie on the bov to secure it better to the stock piping. Cheers
What’s ur type of engine?
Luisa Square
Bro u dont need a blow off valve for a stage 2 tune la the pshh sound is useless
Hmm however letting my family members try that do feel that in terms of throttle responses its abit better then without the bov
I installed it on my MK7 Golf 1.2TSI and I can feel the turbo performs slightly better.
@@melvinemmanuelchan4593 hey there glad I am not the only one that felt the difference. Ya installed it ya self?
@@Nwhproductions Nah, I’m not as technical savvy like you, I got the workshop to do it for me and I paid $40 for the installation.

It's a useless mod. No performance advantage att all.
The engineers att vw would install a bov if needed.
Pointless putting a loud exhaust on a car, but people still do it don't they
