Yes, luxury, mystery, transcendence, but above all exclusivity and power, it felt exclusive to drive one of these cars in this game and at this time, an unmodified factory "stock" car was not a simple box with 4 wheels, It had personality, soul, today driving these cars has lost its charisma, they feel generic
Yep, Unbound has none of what the OG NFS has and sadly, apparently, people would rather have a game like Unbound or Underground instead of something like Hot Pursuit or High Stakes.
@@rosaria8384 What sucks is all most of the clowns want is some low rent urban culture "yo yo yo yo my turbo and nitrous and stance brah!" FnF circus simulator.
This game, and this song, is what got me into cars. When I was a kid I used to blast this song and let the guy commentate about all my favorite cars, TOTAL fucking nostalgia. If I had a history book of my life, this song would be in it.
I feel ya... I still play all of the NFS 2 and 3 songs in my car. c: One day when I get my dream car, the Aventador, I'll be playing these songs alongside the V12!
You could always play the old great ones. Modding, and getting ways to play them with friends made me play a lot of old, old games again and some old by today's standards but probably not for us, like NFS rivals. There's nothing like racing with my friends at 550+ kmh.
Why deamau5 can't be like this? I mean he is in some songs but in some others he ruins it with its fucking dubstep thing, although I read that he hates dubstep
Childhood.Tears. Memories. Gold 90s. I want time machine. I was 6 years old This is the moment when I was realised that the music Can bring my Memories to life Many Thanks .
I was born in 2000. We still had most of the stuff from the 90s so I'm equally happy. Sadly it was over faster than it would have been if I was born in the 90s.
This game is the reason why I got into cars. Hearing this song takes me back to the days where I used to study each car and the company history. Picture a ten year old me doing observation drawing of one of my favorite exotic automobiles, this song constantly on repeat. Fast forward today, I've seen some of my dream cars thanks to the knowledge of Need For Speed. I wouldn't be a car enthusiast without the genius of Electronic Arts.
You ever hear a song from a video game that reminded you of your childhood? This is one of those songs. I remember coming home from grade school and playing the crap outta this game. I knew every turn, every short cut. And I would always go into the menu just so I could listen to this game.
Same here! This game has one of those soundtracks that 100% has shaped the way I appreciate music today, and furthermore nothing will ever be able to top soundtracks like these. I remember having people over every week to play this for hours on end. But the best experiences were playing it on my own for hours and hours, taking in the beautiful soundtrack and being able to check out every part of all the amazing tracks. Oh, and don't forget El Nino ;)
daveofdefeat ahhhhhh! El Nino! dude, that was my car man! Fast as hell, lol. I can't believe you remember that. Even I forgot about that one. I played a lot of games with my friends when I was younger but I was also able to have fun playing alone. I had such a wild imagination back then. I remember the canyon level and I would love setting the weather and night effect to each stage. This sounds kindda lame but back then as a kid I use to pretend I was in that car driving through that terrain traveling through each location. yo, do me a favor, take me back to 90's. please!!!!!
That's what it's all about man! As someone who has been involved in game development myself, I can't deny that I love how current gen graphics look... but, the 90's had some of the best overall content for video games by far. Great storylines, all sorts of surprises within the amazing gameplay, and there was always room for players to add to their experience by using their imagination, just as we did when cruising around in NFS III. This is making me miss the hell out of the nineties!

Need for speed 3 hot pursuit was my first need for speed game I have ever played back in 2004 or 2005 it has been a long time since I remember when I played this amazing game.

23 years ago I was 6, and I was playing this game, listening to this same track, and probably seeing the same you were seeing. Has anything really change since then? Yes, so many things have, and no, many thing have not. Life seemed to be so simple back then...
Rom Di Prisco's ability to capture the heart and soul of a video game is like nothing I have ever seen. We need a Need for Speed lll remake, just like the classic version just with updated graphics.
But Underground series is one of the best sold in the franchise. It doesn't mean that it's the best to race in one same area, thus why i prefer Hot Pursuit 2 honestly.
Listening to an narrator talk about those amazing machines with this music in the background was my favorite memory of this game. If you think about it, I've never seen another racing game having a narrator talk about the tracks you are going to race on or the cars you race with. It gives you the idea that the people who designed this game ACTUALLY LIKED CARS and went out of their way to put extras like pictures about the cars in real life too. Hell even the intro is basically like that too.NFS!

This song remembers my childhood, how I increase my love of cars, and when I listen this piece, I feel that I transported to europe specially Sweden Alps with a cold ambient at the twilight driving a mclaren F1!!!
And the best thing was. The genius trance techno beats let you feel the awesomeness of the cars. Especially during looking at the brilliant showcases with the narrators voice.
