howdy! I like this idea, I have a few ideas I wanted to share. First, for virulence stacks you might try using the golden rule. the poisons it reflects count, so it effectively doubles the number of poisons you apply per second. to mitigate the downside you either need to be unaffected by poison (hunter mod on boots) or be ci. second, I think the juggernaut ascendancy is a bit of an odd pick. I grasp that the thinking is to mitigate a lot of phys damage so you can be really tanky, but the downside is being zdps. an interesting alternative might be to go witch and ci. this can give your agony crawler unholy might, which is a huge dps boost, along with two sources of 10% more damage. then you can use stuff like volatile dead and cremation for applying poisons. the other thing which is interesting to consider is the mother's embrace belt. i think it should work with the agony crawler, which should allow you to apply some pretty juicy flasks, such as coralito's signature for poison chance, doedre's elixir for frenzy and power charges, silver/sulfur flasks, etc. i dont really know how it interacts with flask enchantments so i gotta do some testing, but it might be a great way to get some extra dps. i'll post a pob in a reply, just in case the comment gets auto-moderated.
Thanks for the reply. The reason for going jugg is for mass tank. Literal do nothing so Svalinn can trigger the on Block Gems. I was skeptical for Witch to be able to tank enough to trigger Svalinn without dying. Again, the build is just for Svalinn cuz it may not make it into the game next league since its so busted. If i did do this build again i would go Necro or Occuslist and find better ways of triggering poison as you mentioned but for now i wanted to use Svalinn.
there is a thorns equivalent in poe. you'll see it on body armor most often, "Reflects # Physical Damage to Melee Attackers" there just isn't a build around it like other arpg's have
Yea. Phys Damage Reflect is not a viable build in PoE which is a shame. This is the closest feeling to a Thorns build that exists though and it feels real nice.
I definitely don't think you're getting 10 wither stacks. 3.15 attacks per second at 25% to apply a stack means you only have a 78% chance to apply 1 wither stack per second, that lasts 2 seconds. so over 2 seconds you're only applying, on average, 1.5 wither stacks. I would set your PoB to an optimistic 2 wither stacks.

Didn't know it was called thorns on other arpgs. I just go by with cast when damage taken (cwdt) everytime because poe is my first arpg after all

I changed the way poison applied in the next video. Works much better
Your pob is only level 92, seems you did this video and abandoned the build. Disappointing.
