This story had some strong Gnostic vibes to it. Especially the ending philosophical pondering. The Gnostic segments of Christianity saw the God of Abraham as a demon, the Demiurge; so it’s interesting how the entity here sorta fits that idea. And while that entity in Gnostic lore was also the creator of the material world, it was not the same as the Most High (the actual big G “God”) which existed in the upper echelons of the non-physical world.
The Nag Hammadi Library is the archive of lost works of the Gnostics (an umbrella term for a variety of groups) which was found in the late 1940s but dates back to like the 2nd century CE. There both their interpretations of the Bible and have preserved edited out gospels which are pretty fascinating to dive into just cuz they both offer different lore stories and different interpretations. Like the Serpent in the Garden of Eden being not an evil being but a messenger of the goddess Sophia which they see as higher than the God of Abraham (and the Gnostic worship of Sophia is where we get the term philosophy/Philo-Sophia, love of wisdom). Or as far as new stories, the gospels of Thomas, Judas, Mary, etc These would be the best direct sources since a lot of it has been translated in the last few decades (whole story about that process in and of itself btw). You can also look into Gnostic revival groups like the Cathars of 8th century France or the Hermetic Movement during the Renaissance (sister movement to Neo Platonism and consisting a lot of the first European Scientists). I would encourage cautious analysis of the sources claiming to be revived gnostic groups in the last roughly two centuries tho cuz unfortunately a lot of esoteric fascism, including some folks that contributed to nazism, embraced aspects of some Gnostic ideas and absorbed them into their philosophies, especially in the time since the NHL was found in the 40s. So like, for example, a lot of the “anti-material world” sentiment that some sects of Gnostics expressed is contorted into certain ideas of fascist/Nazi ideology justifying various horrible things.
As A Catholic Occultist I love the study of the Gnostic texts especially the ones found in the dead sea scrolls and the Nagameti texts it's a whole new way of looking at a Christianity and it's also the eldest version which no one likes to admit and why they tried so hard to destroy it's thank god for those farmers who were smart enough to save them safely for thousands of years until we found them. And all of the people who kept Hermetics going for so Long
My favorite of yours so far! Listened to it twice. The narration was spot on for the content and tone. The story was a very clever idea written beautifully/ horrifyingly.
For those that don't know, this is a retelling of a very old creepypasta of the same name that, until recently I believe, was considered lost media. With that being said, I love how this version incorporates the actual origin of the "pelt" image the original story was based around.
We are alive because of God our creator and Jesus Christ you fools. And Nothing can ever overcome the Power and the Purity of Jesus Christ Our Saviour. GodBless and GodSpeed.

This sounds interesting. I'm gonna have to look into this.
This sounds cool. Do you have any suggestions of where to read more about this?

Wow. Coolest comment I've encountered on UA-cam. Thank you for such an in depth response.
"Nietzsche is dead" - God
“Hey, you’re here too?!” Nietzsche upon seeing God in purgatory
“How many points for killing god?!?”
All of them.
@@notmarvelsloki4721 I mean facts, but it was a callback to an old Creepypasta he posted way back when.
