Georgia girl here, living in Wyoming. Yes, those are muscadines! Those where not ripe yet and would taste terrible. But muscadine wine became a thing in the 1500's. Cool huh? I look forward to more videos from my home state.
Whats funny is we see them everywhere now. This is why we enjoy doing videos now, forces us to slow down to film what we normally would just walk right by.
Thank you for sharing your family time with us! That looked like some good times camping and fishing and hiking. I have the Napier Backroadz tent for my midsize truck, camo with blackout interior. I have plans to go do some camping with my cousin and their kids. I told them I was going to do the truck camping thing, not car camping. :) When I watched you cleaning up the camp site, I think I should strap a full size shovel in the bed. I usually keep a entrenching tool, a machete, and a folding saw in the truck.

We really love where the tent allows us to go. We have a class C but being in the wilderness vs. campground is a great switch of gears at time. Thanks for leaving the comment and we hope you hang around as we continue to bring more videos.

Hi! Saw a comment you left at Rving with Caitlin about finding her on the FB group. I thought we might be in the same one and wanted to visit your channel too. The national forest there is great. Lily is adorable! Hopefully the migraine didn't last long. I don't know what it is about people leaving trash behind! We ran into that even at the Arctic Circle. It's a sad frustration for the rest of us to deal with.

If you are going to release trout that you catch, you should wet your hands before handling them They are covered with protective mucous that dry hands will remove. This makes the fish vulnerable to various pathogens in the water. Having said that, those first two you caught were great! I enjoyed the video.
Being from Florida I am used to catching bass and creatures of the sea you don’t want to touch long. I do see your point. Thanks for pointing that out to me. And thanks for being part of our channel.

And spend the Winter there

I don't understand why people can't leave places clean. When they close everything due to the mess they will be the first ones to gripe. Not to mention it makes something so beautiful to see and surround yourself in, into a sad disgrace.
I think what you are talking about is our outhouse. We have a pretty neat toilet for camping and use the tent shelter as a bathroom. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel.

Great video, thank you so much for cleaning up after those jerks. And never apologize for ranting about them. It's inexcusable to leave a mess like that. A lot of BLM land areas are being closed off and no longer allowed to be used for camping because of the messes people are leaving behind.
Mind sharing where you found that site? I took a week off to do some overland adventuring at the end of this month. Getting a little concerned there might be a good number of road closures after all the storms we just had but that site looks pretty stable.
This is in the Chattahoochee National Forest in Dahlonega GA. Google search Army Ranger Training or Frank Merril Camp in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Lots of places to go and camp.
Hi Dan, my truck bed is the 6"7 and it really does work fine for me. I have since started using my Leer camper shell but still loved that tent and I still have it.
This Camping area in the video is dispersed camping in the Chattahoochee National Forest around Gainesville Ga. Hopefully we will be back in National Forests soon

Our Napier has never leaked. It will condensate like any tent but rain don’t get in.

We did find out later they are the muscadine’s. They actually grow everywhere up here. After this trip we started seeing them everywhere.
