Two or more distinct people, i.e. nationalities, whether based on language or some other objective fact, like ethnicity or race, cannot peacefully co-exist under a majoritarian democratic system, if one of the groups is larger than the other. This is why I think a one-state solution to the Israel problem is bound to fail, and instead would suggest a two-state solution.
Mises's vocal critique of mass democracy is vastly underrated.
