Metal and Hardcore rule! Neat lecture on punk rock. Good video of remote areas. The chaos of the Buffalo Chip and Full Throttle can be left to the youngsters who like to get drunk. I like the serene places with less people and cool folks like STS. Say 👋 to all
Thanks Joe for being there for me, yup sitting here in Virginia wanting to be there but finances are tight. I'm shooting for next year come hell or high water I'm going hopefully the world doesn't totally go to Sh@$ by then. Stay safe out there and enjoy ✌
Great video thanks for narrating through out filming audiences will attain a better aspect of what you are describing. I started using a hammock speaking for myself a much better sleep especially after a long ride. Thanks again
Hey Joe! Such a pleasure meeting you in person today! Truly the highlight of this Sturgis trip for me! Thanks for the stickers and the selfies with you! I love your channel, and your content! Keep em coming Joe! Your Awesome! 👊
Always the best! I like how your analyzing campsites....cut a path here...set up there...really helpful. Oh yeah...my St1300 is great on paved but a bit sketchy on dirt and gravel. Glad the bike is working out.
Joe, this is one of your best video’s to date. Great documentary of the calm before the madness of the rally. You’ve done a great job of filming the more natural areas in the Blackhills and part of what the Blackhills Rally is all about. All the best. Get well soon and ride safely. Thanks for posting.
Joe looks like the bike is doing good. I wanted to be at Sturgis this year but I live in eastern North Carolina &I didn't get my bike until a couple days ago. I've been riding over 30years last 2years no motorcycle my wife of 23 years passed away 3 years ago. I finally got a bike thank God. How long do you hang around Sturgis after the event &ball park figure what can you make working it. I'm going to try living a life long dream Of what you &scotty are doing. Wishing you the best joe hope to see you on the road buddy. The explosion took me by shock...good one...
Glad you got a bike. condolences. Usually hang around for a week or so. You can make anywhere between 10-30 bucks an hour which most wouldn't consider great, but can add up if working long hours doing something like a barback gig. I hear the tire guys do pretty decent, but its a hard job.
We has a east coast rally going on right now.its 75miles from the house in little Orleans md.i got free tickets.cant afford to go.thats crazy.1st time I've missed it in 6 years
Damn Joe, absolutely great video this time. Gotta say the bomb was supper. Scotty say something about your bike. I think you've done a great job with it. Maybe I'll come up next year. Going to try to go to Baja this coming winter. Maybe I might see you. Good luck brother.
At roughly 225 lbs lighter & having the power pulses of a twin ,I can easily understand why this bike feels more at home on a gravel road that the ST 1300. In the distant past, twins won a lot of races do to the torque they produced at the right time ,Vs others that were spinning their tires, & dumping their riders on the ground ..So this type of power still feels better on the road, along with the lighter build.
Daaaamn. I just seen you responded. We are back home in north east ohio now. 3900 miles round trip. Would loved to ride with you and Scotty some. Let me know if your ever in the area I have a 16 acre farm we are building up you could camp out at if ya wanted.
Now that is the kind of Sturgis Rally video that I like to watch. Just wondering about something. In South Dakota, are there not any chiggers and ticks in all that tall grass where you camped? Where I live, they would eat you alive, if you walked through that tall grass.
Hey Joe just curious would you recombine a KLR for part time tramping? Looking for something cheap and more maneuverable my wide glide doesn’t do good off road. Love your videos thanks for all the good advice .
Maybe for part timing... but I think you'll be happier with a two cylinder. I lived off a "mighty klr" for a year or so... They are cool for what they are, but really underpowered, which makes them not so good off road when packed up
Since you stay out at camp 5 do you know the infamous bikerguru from Ohio? He has been camping there for years.. I've always turned down the opportunity to ride with friends to Sturgis because the large amount of people and chaos isn't my thing however maybe next year I'll make it out there and stay with the outlaws of camp 5
i’m trying to figure out how to Buy you dinner and a beer, but I don’t know how to see how to do that. I’ve clicked on everything obvious but nothing obvious pops up.. did you part ways with the Honda ST? That machine you’re riding now is a good choice. Two of my long-distance buddies have that machine.. One of them just rode up from Melbourne Florida to oil city Pennsylvania on it to escape the heat in Florida for a month.. I suppose the warm temperatures you were experiencing in Sturgis or nothing new to you, since you’ve spent so much time in Mexico in your other videos I have watched enjoy your videos very much thanks. Where is that donation link??
Oh, thanks man! In the description under the video, there's a "show more" button, and it's in there. Here's a link if feel so inclined 😎: www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=RVXXJ4UHUF4PJ And thanks again! Yeah, got rid of the ST. I miss the power, but am really enjoying the new bike, especially with the good gas mileage. I wish I could get used to this heat, but it's freaking brutal up here!
Glad to see you made it. Looks like the bike should serve you well. I'm just curious....I was your "neighbor" last year just across from the porta-potty. Are you camped the same place this year? Thanks again for an excellent video. Shiny side up!
Joe? The rear camera thing!not not understanding. My theory always is out front 60% sky 40% bike and road makes the best the best videos.,,,,, It's like riding with you driving with you driving the bike itself at this angle just saying love your videos brother
Hey joe can i ask how easy it is to find rally jobs? Im wanting to live the drifter life myself but have a lot of learning to do. im going to leave in spring with only a couple grand to my name and just send it
Fairly easy, but you’ll have to do the leg work. Wait till you see people starting to set up, and ask around. That’s what I left with. Went real fast lol. Till I learned to budget myself
It pains me to watch these videos this week. I had to cancel my trip because of a medical issue, and lost my deposit for 4 days at the Chip. Have fun, say hi to STS, MexiFil, Amsoil Adam, and Bob and Tam for me.
Bastard., I wasn't ready for Scotty to explode on that can of soup. Nearly fell of my chair.
Nice vid

Thanks Joe for being there for me, yup sitting here in Virginia wanting to be there but finances are tight. I'm shooting for next year come hell or high water I'm going hopefully the world doesn't totally go to Sh@$ by then. Stay safe out there and enjoy ✌
That’s one of my favorite Progresso soups. I thought I left it somewhere in the Ozarks. 😂
Loved the special effects.

This is a cool video I’m watching it at 10:45 pm I hope your voice isn’t waking you lol Shhh
I wondered who that a-hole was lmao
Hopefully my late night partying and crazy women running in and out of camp 🏕 at all hours wasn’t disturbing you.Sturgis baby!!!!

Are there term limits? How long can Scotty be mayor?😁
Hahaha I think he;s appointed himself dictator for life
Is that Scott his nickname when he’s at camp five the mayor? If not, it should be.
Yes lol
I accidentally ate a can of mackerel that had expired 5 years earlier and was fine, I think expiration is a suggestion
Lmao!
Are you here bro??
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond no ,didn't make it this year
Hey joe, tell Scotty to get his ass busy and make us some videos!!! I'm bored here in Iowa.
Where ya at? Me and the wife just pulled into deadwood. Still in the area?
Still in the BH nat forest man!!
