I think I might have an idea for making those track gaps easy to traverse! Use a merge block to merge them together but where when you disconnect them they aren't merged anymore them while they're not merged, place filler blocks between them & just not allow them to merge(ie: after merging them, disconnect them then replace the merge blocks with armor blocks & add extra blocks to fill in the gap) this should allow a super straight track that allows very long tracks without the problem of the block limits!

I'm a bit late, but possible improvements could be passage ways and a support block every 500 passages down. To conserve the block count. This way, you need only 4x 3x3 wheels and 4x 1x1 wheels. The 3x3 fit inside the passages amd the 1x1 keep it centered in between the track.
The key is as few of wheels and blocks as possible. Ultimately, clang will claim it many times.

      @@AndrewmanGaming Thanks for responding.
I'm sure if you were able to hover directly over the center and then just cut your jetpack/inertial dampeners you could fall straight enough.
The hard part would be digging a perfectly vertical shaft all the way through the planet.
I haven't tried this, but if you used a regular tunnel to find and set a GPS point at the *exact* gravitational center of the planet (or at least within a meter or three) you could then start the main tunnel.
Hover above the surface with your jetpack, equiping the voxel delete tool with a huge spherical brush.
Aim directly at the gravity centre GPS location and set a new GPS location (start).
Without touching the movement keys at all, still aiming at the center, delete voxels as far as you can reach,
Then only by turning on/off inertial dampeners, drop down the hole without hitting the bottom, delete more, repeat until you hit the middle (pain in the ass i know)
Once you hit the core you'd have to fly/teleport to the opposite side of the planet until the two GPS locations line up as perfectly as you can make them (it might be useful to set a 3rd location (end) to check allignment before digging)
When they line up, you can drop/dig the using the same method as the first half of the hole.
If it works, you should end up with an absolutely laser-straight hole going perfectly through the center of gravity.
Once you have this, it should be pretty easy to hover in place above one end and drop through
      Sorry about the book, lol.

If I remember rightly, Specialista (spelling?) made a machine (creative mode of course) to dig through the center of the planet. It worked, too. Made it all the way. Clever system. should check out his vid. Still, well done sir!

With the unlimited speed mod by dropping with 0 horizontal speed you shoud be able to get exactly to the other side (maybe not because it wasn't perfectly alligned with gravity) so maybe you could have a box that you drop from a landing gear and it would stop exactly at the same height on the other side (considering too that if the other side is a mountain and the origin point is a lake it wont make it)

IF YOU PUT GRAVITY GENERATORS WITH BUTTONS ON IT SHOULD INCREASE AND DECREASE THE SPEED :)
YOU COULD EVEN ADD AUTO PILOT WITH WAY POINTS TO REACT AUTONOMOUSLY

I don't know of anyone has ever tried it but is there a place in the gravity field where you can use gravity generators and artificial mass to effectively float without any thrusters?
