I've just a posted a new video in the Cognition Enhancer series. A different style of music for my channel that I hope you might like: ua-cam.com/video/CJuW28OiZc4/v-deo.html.
. I am French , and unfortunately I do not have the ability to express all that I want to say in your language You have helped me a lot , so I simply say thank you . Thank you very much.
+harold Gachignat (Dungeon & Poney) Thank you for your appreciation, and especially for taking the time to post in your second language. It means a lot, thank you.
I really value your feedback and appreciate you liking and commenting on my music videos, so that I can constantly keep improving and providing you with the content you want the most. Thanks for your support! Jason - Mind Amend ☺️
such a godsend track. I slept only half the night and have been trying to stay awake all day. I wasnt productive for the first half of the day, then I put this on and 1.5 hours of solid work just went by! This worked better for me than "peak focus for complex tasks". I like 'just tones' tracks often as music is usually too emotionally stimulating for me I dont know how most people listen to isochronic tones, but I lower the volume till I can barely even hear the beats. I just trust that my ears are sensitive. maybe like subliminal images? if the tones are softer than I notice - but I can still strain to hear it since I know it's playing - then effectively my brain is still getting the message?
This is literally just everything I think about isochronic tones to allow me to get the best benefit for them. I can't do any (recurring) background noise whatsoever so if I'm at work, where there's a fridge in the room (strange setup I know) I have to play the tones louder than the whirring of the fridge to get the effect but still quiet enough that I don't notice they're there. If I'm sleeping and playing the tones from my laptop, I have to play them loud enough that I can't hear the hard disk whirring, but otherwise exactly the same!
Listening to this while having Oreos and coffee, getting that extra boost on! Don't necessarily have any studying or an exam coming up, just wanted to try this out and see what it's like. Much love 🙂 And remember everyone, just be nice to each other, okay?
OMG Paired with Electro Swing This Is GOLD!! I was really struggling with the end of a nasty flu and a deadline and a mountain of content writing to do and I kept falling asleep - BUT All the Ninja of This Magic - With all the lively of Electic Swing has me blasting through my work AND smiling whilst I do it too!! THANK YOU!!!!
I was beginning to question whether or not isochronic tones really "work" of if it was all placebo. This particular one has shown me that the answer is an unequivocal YES for me. Listening to this while sitting in front of my studio monitors....
I saw that someone requested this in a recent, excellent upload of yours. Thanks so much for listening and responding to your fans and listeners. This track will be a great tool for people who want to listen to their own music in the background. Keep up the good work; we love you for it.
I am listening to this in a coffee shop. The noises around are completely crazy haha. Thanks, its a nice tool and I got tired of listening to the old song (when you listen to it for 4-5 hours plus per day, it gets on your nerve a bit). Very good for writing and staying focus!
Just tones are the best because It can be combined with other (likeable) music. Thank you Jason. Could you post all frequencies in just tones fashion(alpha, beta, theta, delta......) separately. Please?
I'm actually working on setting up another UA-cam channel which will be heavily focused on just tones/beats tracks, which sounds like something you'd be interested in. I'm hoping to announce that within the next week. I'll list it as a Featured Channel, and mention it on my channel About and Community pages here, so you know where to look. I'll make a note and also try and remember to pop back here and let you know when it's ready.
Yes please Mind Amend! I just recently found out about this and although I don't if it really helps, I really love listening to these just tones while I'm working. And thank you for all your explanations. Let us know if the just note channel is up and beating :)
@@nicolel_ Unfortunately, I had a significant event happen in my life which meant my plans for building up that other channel had to be put on hold. I still hope to do that at some stage, but I can't really commit to a timescale at the moment as I'm waiting on other things to be sorted out first.
Thank you for providing the tone only, love it. I set my alarm/timer for 37 minutes this I can get the benefits. I use 7 minutes to engage and 30 minutes for therapy. This is if I can't fo the whole time. I also stay hydrated drinking water during each sessions.
For anyone looking for suggestions, I'm letting this play in the background while I listen to the "Big Mozart Box" album (English Chamber Orchestra and David Blum). You can find the album on Amazon, and it's free to stream for Amazon Prime members. Cheers, and happy studying.

Hello Jason. What's happened to ADHD just tones? Thank You for these Absolutely Brilliant Incredible tools.... Much Much appreciated.... SO grateful too you and team. Compliments of season to You All!!!!
Hi Glengrant, seasons greetings to you too. Both of the ADHD just tones videos are still on YT and you can find them here: ua-cam.com/video/OeItAd9Z6Mo/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/gMqVKstfH5w/v-deo.html.
Jason, I love your videos. I'm fighting a chronic procrastination habit and your videos help me a lot. I wanted to ask you something though. When I'm listening to a long tone like this and, for some reason, need to leave my work for a minute, should I restart the video or continue on the same moment I stopped? I ask because I know the frequencies work in cycles so, maybe it is not the best idea to restart in the middle of a cycle. Thank you again!
+Lcmnovotny Hi, I'm afraid this type of situation is always a bit of a grey area, as it can depend on how long you've been listening for, what you do when you take a break and how long you are away for. If you are listening to a track for concentration, then stop and take a 15 minute break somewhere with your eyes closed, that's going to completely change your brain activity. In that case, start from the beginning again. If you stopped for a break and read a newspaper, you are still engaging your brain and focusing on something. In that case you could probably just carry on the track from where you were before, as your brain will still be in a similar mental state. As a general guide with this type of stimulation, it takes about 6 minutes or so for your brain to become entrained. So any break in the first 10 minutes I'd say just start again. If you just disappear to go to the toilet or make a quick coffee, you could probably carry on from where you left off. Your brain activity may not have wandered too far away from where you were before, in that short time. This track is an extended version of the 30 minute version, which effectively repeats the same cycle every 30 minutes. So if you stop it any any point close to the 30,60,90,120,150 minute marks, you can either carry on where you are or from the start and it won't make much difference. With a track like this that cycles through a repeating pattern, it's not such a big problem whether you restart or carry on where you left off.
Lilili Thank you for asking this question! I had the same one come to mind about the sleep track! I usually try to start at the same spot, or close too after a short break and find its much more "subtle" to start over when it's a long one.
I asked you a question on your memory video I was to asked it again but I am not instead I just wan to say thank you for actually taking time to answer people I know you are probably going to answer my question so I will just subscribe and I really mean it thank you for actually responding to us
I've told you once before, I think, but wanted to say it again: Thank you again for making the work you do available on youtube! I am a copyeditor and use your focus playlist almost exclusively for my work (nothing compares); I stay focused and relaxed for hours. Also, thanks for the tip on staying hydrated--super helpful reminder! So, thank you!!! On your website, do you sell extended versions of this music? If so, what do you recommend for 1) focused brain work and 2) inspiring focused creativity?
Even though my bird is screaming and being a brat, I feel focused and not nearly as bothered by him as I normally would be. (He acts up whenever I've decided to sit down for serious crunching.)
I always recommend playing all my videos at normal speed. The tones cycle through a specific frequency range, so if you change the speed of the video, the speed of the beats will change and therefore the benefits from using the track will not be the same.
Hi Jason, can i combine this with your other videos(with waves+music)? will the combo increasing the effect or will this "mess" the normal tones of each one and damp the effect? :) thank you Jason!!
hello jason, ope your well, can I listen to this track (just tone) while listening on a lecture (test and answers) on youtube? will i able to enjoy its benefits? thank you as always....:)
Yes you can do that and still get the benefits, as you don't have to concentrate on the tones. If you combine this with other videos/sounds, just make sure the tones volume is loud enough that you can still hear them fairly well.
Hi Suzee, I have a Cognition Enhancer playlist which consists of all the videos I've created using the same frequencies here: ua-cam.com/video/brLEeWv0ohY/v-deo.html. There is some newer ones on there. I also have a playlist called relaxed focus, which doesn't require headphones: ua-cam.com/video/SmQ1HXbm0CM/v-deo.html. That uses similar frequencies to Cognition Enhancer. The main difference being that the relaxed focus tracks stimulate each ear with the same frequencies. Compared to Cognition Enhancer which stimulates the left brain with a higher frequency. However, both frequency sessions cycle between alpha and beta frequencies in a similar way.
I've been listening to it in the hour before going to my exam. Is it gonna help or on the opposite, when I'll stop listening to it my brain s gonna want to relax and be lazy ???
The battle is often in trying to get your brainwave activity in the right mental state to begin with. Your brain will react to what you are doing after you've stopped listening, it won't automatically want to relax and get lazy afterwards. If you listened to the track and then went to lay on the sofa, your brain will quickly start to relax again. However, if you keep your mind active and then go into an exam, you should be able to stay focused and benefit from being in a good mental state at the start and keep it going.
hi haha I think I am boring you with my question but this is my third question with all seriousness I do not want to be annoying I am just changing my life for the better and I think your channel may help me so my third question is will the effect of this last when i'm not studying and after a lot of use can they become permanent I really thank you for your help ....
I don't carry out any formal research studies myself. My tracks are based on past research and commonly used frequencies and techniques used in the brainwave entrainment community. I've written about isochronic tones and how they work and you can find some of my research resources at the bottom of the article: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/.
I'm so sorry for taking away from your time again but, as I work to understand these things I have nobody with whom I can discuss ideas. Isochronic Tone is a controlled method of using monaural beats and binaural beats in a passed format to enter a state of brainwave entrainment through this sort of pulsation. The problem I see with this is that the idea for it is the same as the one that comes from putting someone into a trance and after what I have looked into It makes your brain fallow a pattern so the moment that in a hypothetical everybody uses this then would they be like sheep folowing a groop as there brains would be in the same state at the same time falowing the same pattern to the same conclusion?
You should have the tones loud enough that you can still hear them over the music. If you can't hear the tones they won't have an effect. I like to try to find a sweet spot in the middle somewhere. Where you can hear the tones quite clearly, but they are not too invasive.
Is your full name Jason Stephenson? Do you have such a channel which has a million subscribers? I’m asking you that because this channel and that channel both are producing kind of a same content
I just found out your full name is Jason Lewis . Sorry but I was really confused because the Music you used in your SAD video and the one used by Jason Stephenson turns out to be the same so...
No you don't have to listen for that long. I'd suggest listening for at least 15 minutes, then stop when you want after that. I just made it 3 hours long for people who want to use it over a longer study period.
Short answer, yes. To add to that, it depends. Sometimes you might feel you need to use an intense, higher frequency beta wave track to keep your mind in a heightened focus state for problem solving. Other times you might feel really focused but you keep hitting mental blocks and can't seem to think outside of a narrow pathway, making it difficult to think of a new way to solve a difficult problem. If that happens, a track like this one which combines alpha and beta wave tones can be helpful. The low alpha wave intervals help to relax you, while the main alpha tones keep you focused. This can produce a state of relaxed focus, which can be very helpful when problem solving. It often comes down to being self aware in the moment, so you can work out how you are feeling and what type of track might work better for you in the moment for that task.
What the heck... try to move move your head left to right when you listen to this without moving your headphones. The sound are getting louder on the right ear and allmost dissapear on the left when i move my head to the right the same with left. How is that possible?
No this isn't permanent. The effects are mainly felt while you are listening and for a short while afterwards. A permanent change might sound like a good thing to persue, but there would be big potential pitfalls if something changed you permanently. What if you didn't like how it changed you, or you misunderstood what it would do and you couldn't change back to how you were?
Jason Lewis - MindAmend .. So you can't keep the cognition embedded in the mind like to improve your ( focus ) sort of speak?, It just where's off you mean? because I've tried other binural tones and it changed my entire mind ( blood flow ) permanently .. but I'm curious about your tones that's why I ask .. Thanks for your swift response though
The way isochronic tones and binaural beats work is by influencing your brainwave activity while you are listening to them, and synchronising your brainwave activity with the speed of the beats/tones. When you stop listening to the tones/beats, your brainwave activity starts to return back to normal because the stimulus is no longer influencing it. If for example, it made you permanently focused, you wouldn't be able to sleep because you would be permanently awake and alert. So the fact that it isn't permanent is actually a good thing.
Jason Lewis - MindAmend .. Well, I ment to say" can it improve and could you turn your on focus without it at will"?( Like a new talent ).. because Seriously, don't want to keep listening to these tones just for the effect to be there and it just wares off in couple hours. What if the info is not in your head to recall and you fall into huge a lobotomized scenario? It's like I'm seeing this as a drug addiction but it's not really ( If that makes sense )
The most popular way people use these tones is to listen to them as and when they want to enter a particular mental state. As an alternative to temporary chemically induced mental states, from things like medication, pills, energy drinks, coffee, alcohol etc. A healthier, drug-free alternative if you like. So far, there hasn't been much in the way of long-term studies using the technology, to confirm if you can train your brain to act in a certain way at will, like learning a skill. So that's why it's typically used for its short-term benefits.
I’ve had some very occasional feedback from people saying they’ve had an unexpected lucid dream after listening to one of my tracks. People very rarely mention it though, so it could be just coincidental. It’s not something I would expect to happen.
You can purchase the download from my website, see link in the description. What do you mean by claim it? I own the copyright to it, so you can’t claim it.
This track just contains repetitive tones, without any music. If you can't hear them, I suspect you may be using a portable device, where the speakers only produce a very weak bass sound. It works best with headphones.
It's very likely you were dehydrated. When stimulating your brainwaves like this that increases electrical activity and heat produced in your brain, which ultimately uses up energy resources supplied to the brain in the form of water. So if you are already a little dehydrated and then listen to this for a long period without drinking much or any water, you can sometimes get a dry mouth. If even more dehydrated that can sometimes give you a temporary headache. So I recommend ensuring you are well-hydrated when listening for long periods. The same goes for whenever you are stimulating your brain for an extended period, like a long intense study session. Studies have shown that well-hydrated students out-performed those that weren't, so it's always a good idea to stay well-hydrated.
Hmmm, the tones are good, but unfortunately not useful. Title says 3 hours, but about 2 minutes in the vid goes to "loading" and then just skips to a few minutes from the end. I'm guessing there's a paid version that prevents this?
No, this works and doesn’t skip forward like that usually. I would never offer something for free and then only give it to you if you paid for it. That’s not my style at all. I do sell the download on my website very cheaply, but you don’t need that, this video works just fine. There’s probably something wrong with your app or browser. Sometimes videos get stuck on my own computer. Restarting the app/browser or your computer will usually fix an issue like that. Sometimes your app/browser just needs updating.
i think it's supposed to be really really subtle in background that you almost can't hear it, don't set on high volume and if you like you can listen music while playing it :D
I've just a posted a new video in the Cognition Enhancer series. A different style of music for my channel that I hope you might like: ua-cam.com/video/CJuW28OiZc4/v-deo.html.

I
Even though my bird is screaming and being a brat, I feel focused and not nearly as bothered by him as I normally would be. (He acts up whenever I've decided to sit down for serious crunching.)
These tones paired with Four Tet's New Energy album 👌

Love this,,
Pairs well with the Dark Phoenix soundtrack for me.
Nice
Will the speed at which you listen to this make a difference or is it down to preference?
Can I listen to classic music while listening to this ?
Sorry for my slow reply. Yes you can combine this with any type of music.
this helped my type of paper

Hi Jason, Can you recommend one of your newer recordings that is similar to Cognition Enhancer?
@@MindAmend Thanks Jason!
mr lewis,i was wondering, you have more than one study aid video,so which one is the best?
I've been listening to it in the hour before going to my exam. Is it gonna help or on the opposite, when I'll stop listening to it my brain s gonna want to relax and be lazy ???
The battle is often in trying to get your brainwave activity in the right mental state to begin with. Your brain will react to what you are doing after you've stopped listening, it won't automatically want to relax and get lazy afterwards. If you listened to the track and then went to lay on the sofa, your brain will quickly start to relax again. However, if you keep your mind active and then go into an exam, you should be able to stay focused and benefit from being in a good mental state at the start and keep it going.
haha you must be right cause I rocked this exam!!!
Well done!
Listening on 0.5 speed. Let's goooooooooooooooo
at that speed helps you better?
while using only left earphone, i felt more effective.
the sounds at like 46:00 kinda make me dizzy cuz they're moving in like circles around my head/earbuds?
hi haha I think I am boring you with my question but this is my third question with all seriousness I do not want to be annoying I am just changing my life for the better and I think your channel may help me so my third question is will the effect of this last when i'm not studying and after a lot of use can they become permanent I really thank you for your help ....
Is there a place where I can review your research on these particular tones and how they stimulate the brain?
I don't carry out any formal research studies myself. My tracks are based on past research and commonly used frequencies and techniques used in the brainwave entrainment community. I've written about isochronic tones and how they work and you can find some of my research resources at the bottom of the article: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/.
Thank you.... may this serve to satiate my curiosity.
I'm so sorry for taking away from your time again but, as I work to understand these things I have nobody with whom I can discuss ideas. Isochronic Tone is a controlled method of using monaural beats and binaural beats in a passed format to enter a state of brainwave entrainment through this sort of pulsation. The problem I see with this is that the idea for it is the same as the one that comes from putting someone into a trance and after what I have looked into It makes your brain fallow a pattern so the moment that in a hypothetical everybody uses this then would they be like sheep folowing a groop as there brains would be in the same state at the same time falowing the same pattern to the same conclusion?
will earplugs do the same work as head phones??
Yes, they will work just fine.
which should be louder, this or my music??
That music is from an album that we both licensed from the same source.
Should we listen to this the full 3 hours?
No you don't have to listen for that long. I'd suggest listening for at least 15 minutes, then stop when you want after that. I just made it 3 hours long for people who want to use it over a longer study period.
but can I still listen to this entirely for 3 hours? or longer? thank you sir..:)
no
Is this effective to use this for solving problematic things as well? Can u please tell..
@@MindAmend Thank you so much for taking your time to reply my query. I will make proper use of it..
As u said, sometimes we require high intense one to focus. Can u pls suggest me one such for problems.?
I recommend the tracks in this playlist ua-cam.com/video/dQCWsJsMO5Q/v-deo.html.
What the heck... try to move move your head left to right when you listen to this without moving your headphones. The sound are getting louder on the right ear and allmost dissapear on the left when i move my head to the right the same with left. How is that possible?
The tones are faster in the right ear, so it's possible that is disorientating you.
7:00
Can this be a permanent, If so, this is a breakthrough, never thought this day would come @jason lewis
Hi! Can you make a just tones track of delta waves?
I am planning on making some more videos soon, so I'll see what I can do. ;)
Can these produce involutary lucid dreams?
I’ve had some very occasional feedback from people saying they’ve had an unexpected lucid dream after listening to one of my tracks. People very rarely mention it though, so it could be just coincidental. It’s not something I would expect to happen.
100% Jason
Can I download this or can I claim this audio?
You can purchase the download from my website, see link in the description. What do you mean by claim it? I own the copyright to it, so you can’t claim it.
Oh I'm not good at words
Claim, purchase, buy
I mean purchase
That’s ok, I’m sorry for misunderstanding you.
ok why is there no sound at all
This track just contains repetitive tones, without any music. If you can't hear them, I suspect you may be using a portable device, where the speakers only produce a very weak bass sound. It works best with headphones.
Why does it give me a headache on prolonged hearing?
@@MindAmend oh Thank you, I didn't know that. Thanks for the detailed explanation too.
what if i have a mono headphone?
It will still have some effect, but you really need stereo headphones to get the full effect, because it sends a different frequency into each ear.
My parents don't see how this works
But can they see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

This gave me anxiety and a headache.
i think it's supposed to be really really subtle in background that you almost can't hear it, don't set on high volume and if you like you can listen music while playing it :D
After 42 minutes, this gave me a raging headache...so no thanks~
