    such a godsend track. I slept only half the night and have been trying to stay awake all day. I wasnt productive for the first half of the day, then I put this on and 1.5 hours of solid work just went by! This worked better for me than "peak focus for complex tasks". I like 'just tones' tracks often as music is usually too emotionally stimulating for me
    I dont know how most people listen to isochronic tones, but I lower the volume till I can barely even hear the beats. I just trust that my ears are sensitive. maybe like subliminal images? if the tones are softer than I notice - but I can still strain to hear it since I know it's playing - then effectively my brain is still getting the message?

    • @_A-pq1xt
      @_A-pq1xt 4 роки тому

      This is literally just everything I think about isochronic tones to allow me to get the best benefit for them. I can't do any (recurring) background noise whatsoever so if I'm at work, where there's a fridge in the room (strange setup I know) I have to play the tones louder than the whirring of the fridge to get the effect but still quiet enough that I don't notice they're there. If I'm sleeping and playing the tones from my laptop, I have to play them loud enough that I can't hear the hard disk whirring, but otherwise exactly the same!

      I'm actually working on setting up another UA-cam channel which will be heavily focused on just tones/beats tracks, which sounds like something you'd be interested in. I'm hoping to announce that within the next week. I'll list it as a Featured Channel, and mention it on my channel About and Community pages here, so you know where to look. I'll make a note and also try and remember to pop back here and let you know when it's ready.

    Every person on the planet vibrates at a unique rate known as personal energetic frequency. A freq that silently influences the circumstances, people and events you attract into your life. A high energetic freq attracts good things like career, success, self confidence, well-being, abundance true friends and soulmate. While a low freq attracts the wrong people, negativity, lack and illness.
    So I would like to know which of your session should I use to vibrate on highest freq???

    Jason, I love your videos. I'm fighting a chronic procrastination habit and your videos help me a lot. I wanted to ask you something though. When I'm listening to a long tone like this and, for some reason, need to leave my work for a minute, should I restart the video or continue on the same moment I stopped? I ask because I know the frequencies work in cycles so, maybe it is not the best idea to restart in the middle of a cycle. Thank you again!

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 років тому +17

      +Lcmnovotny Hi, I'm afraid this type of situation is always a bit of a grey area, as it can depend on how long you've been listening for, what you do when you take a break and how long you are away for. If you are listening to a track for concentration, then stop and take a 15 minute break somewhere with your eyes closed, that's going to completely change your brain activity. In that case, start from the beginning again. If you stopped for a break and read a newspaper, you are still engaging your brain and focusing on something. In that case you could probably just carry on the track from where you were before, as your brain will still be in a similar mental state.
      As a general guide with this type of stimulation, it takes about 6 minutes or so for your brain to become entrained. So any break in the first 10 minutes I'd say just start again. If you just disappear to go to the toilet or make a quick coffee, you could probably carry on from where you left off. Your brain activity may not have wandered too far away from where you were before, in that short time.
      This track is an extended version of the 30 minute version, which effectively repeats the same cycle every 30 minutes. So if you stop it any any point close to the 30,60,90,120,150 minute marks, you can either carry on where you are or from the start and it won't make much difference. With a track like this that cycles through a repeating pattern, it's not such a big problem whether you restart or carry on where you left off.

    • @Silverleaf223
      @Silverleaf223 8 років тому +1

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 років тому

      I always recommend playing all my videos at normal speed. The tones cycle through a specific frequency range, so if you change the speed of the video, the speed of the beats will change and therefore the benefits from using the track will not be the same.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  Рік тому +1

      Hi Suzee, I have a Cognition Enhancer playlist which consists of all the videos I've created using the same frequencies here: ua-cam.com/video/brLEeWv0ohY/v-deo.html. There is some newer ones on there.
      I also have a playlist called relaxed focus, which doesn't require headphones: ua-cam.com/video/SmQ1HXbm0CM/v-deo.html.
      That uses similar frequencies to Cognition Enhancer. The main difference being that the relaxed focus tracks stimulate each ear with the same frequencies. Compared to Cognition Enhancer which stimulates the left brain with a higher frequency. However, both frequency sessions cycle between alpha and beta frequencies in a similar way.

    I've been listening to it in the hour before going to my exam. Is it gonna help or on the opposite, when I'll stop listening to it my brain s gonna want to relax and be lazy ???

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  7 років тому

      The battle is often in trying to get your brainwave activity in the right mental state to begin with. Your brain will react to what you are doing after you've stopped listening, it won't automatically want to relax and get lazy afterwards. If you listened to the track and then went to lay on the sofa, your brain will quickly start to relax again. However, if you keep your mind active and then go into an exam, you should be able to stay focused and benefit from being in a good mental state at the start and keep it going.

      I don't carry out any formal research studies myself. My tracks are based on past research and commonly used frequencies and techniques used in the brainwave entrainment community. I've written about isochronic tones and how they work and you can find some of my research resources at the bottom of the article: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/.

      I'm so sorry for taking away from your time again but, as I work to understand these things I have nobody with whom I can discuss ideas. Isochronic Tone is a controlled method of using monaural beats and binaural beats in a passed format to enter a state of brainwave entrainment through this sort of pulsation. The problem I see with this is that the idea for it is the same as the one that comes from putting someone into a trance and after what I have looked into It makes your brain fallow a pattern so the moment that in a hypothetical everybody uses this then would they be like sheep folowing a groop as there brains would be in the same state at the same time falowing the same pattern to the same conclusion?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 років тому

      You should have the tones loud enough that you can still hear them over the music. If you can't hear the tones they won't have an effect. I like to try to find a sweet spot in the middle somewhere. Where you can hear the tones quite clearly, but they are not too invasive.

    Is this effective to use this for solving problematic things as well? Can u please tell..

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  5 років тому +1

      Short answer, yes. To add to that, it depends. Sometimes you might feel you need to use an intense, higher frequency beta wave track to keep your mind in a heightened focus state for problem solving. Other times you might feel really focused but you keep hitting mental blocks and can't seem to think outside of a narrow pathway, making it difficult to think of a new way to solve a difficult problem. If that happens, a track like this one which combines alpha and beta wave tones can be helpful. The low alpha wave intervals help to relax you, while the main alpha tones keep you focused. This can produce a state of relaxed focus, which can be very helpful when problem solving. It often comes down to being self aware in the moment, so you can work out how you are feeling and what type of track might work better for you in the moment for that task.

    Can this be a permanent, If so, this is a breakthrough, never thought this day would come @jason lewis

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  7 років тому

      No this isn't permanent. The effects are mainly felt while you are listening and for a short while afterwards. A permanent change might sound like a good thing to persue, but there would be big potential pitfalls if something changed you permanently. What if you didn't like how it changed you, or you misunderstood what it would do and you couldn't change back to how you were?

    • @martialart2
      @martialart2 7 років тому

      Jason Lewis - MindAmend .. So you can't keep the cognition embedded in the mind like to improve your ( focus ) sort of speak?, It just where's off you mean? because I've tried other binural tones and it changed my entire mind ( blood flow ) permanently .. but I'm curious about your tones that's why I ask .. Thanks for your swift response though

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  7 років тому

      The way isochronic tones and binaural beats work is by influencing your brainwave activity while you are listening to them, and synchronising your brainwave activity with the speed of the beats/tones. When you stop listening to the tones/beats, your brainwave activity starts to return back to normal because the stimulus is no longer influencing it. If for example, it made you permanently focused, you wouldn't be able to sleep because you would be permanently awake and alert. So the fact that it isn't permanent is actually a good thing.

    • @martialart2
      @martialart2 7 років тому

      Jason Lewis - MindAmend .. Well, I ment to say" can it improve and could you turn your on focus without it at will"?( Like a new talent ).. because Seriously, don't want to keep listening to these tones just for the effect to be there and it just wares off in couple hours. What if the info is not in your head to recall and you fall into huge a lobotomized scenario? It's like I'm seeing this as a drug addiction but it's not really ( If that makes sense )

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  7 років тому

      The most popular way people use these tones is to listen to them as and when they want to enter a particular mental state. As an alternative to temporary chemically induced mental states, from things like medication, pills, energy drinks, coffee, alcohol etc. A healthier, drug-free alternative if you like. So far, there hasn't been much in the way of long-term studies using the technology, to confirm if you can train your brain to act in a certain way at will, like learning a skill. So that's why it's typically used for its short-term benefits.

  • @ScourgeLegacy

    Why does it give me a headache on prolonged hearing?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  4 роки тому +1

      It's very likely you were dehydrated. When stimulating your brainwaves like this that increases electrical activity and heat produced in your brain, which ultimately uses up energy resources supplied to the brain in the form of water. So if you are already a little dehydrated and then listen to this for a long period without drinking much or any water, you can sometimes get a dry mouth. If even more dehydrated that can sometimes give you a temporary headache. So I recommend ensuring you are well-hydrated when listening for long periods. The same goes for whenever you are stimulating your brain for an extended period, like a long intense study session. Studies have shown that well-hydrated students out-performed those that weren't, so it's always a good idea to stay well-hydrated.

    Hmmm, the tones are good, but unfortunately not useful. Title says 3 hours, but about 2 minutes in the vid goes to "loading" and then just skips to a few minutes from the end. I'm guessing there's a paid version that prevents this?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  3 роки тому +1

      No, this works and doesn’t skip forward like that usually. I would never offer something for free and then only give it to you if you paid for it. That’s not my style at all. I do sell the download on my website very cheaply, but you don’t need that, this video works just fine. There’s probably something wrong with your app or browser. Sometimes videos get stuck on my own computer. Restarting the app/browser or your computer will usually fix an issue like that. Sometimes your app/browser just needs updating.
