I started crocheting at ten, and for a while I was crocheting chains only. Around eleven I Started looking up some stuff to do but i never found anything actually beginner friendly. Now I am 12 and I saw this video and I was surprised at how easy you made it seem. I must have watched at least 5 videos before finding this one. I made my first top today, and it is amazing. Thank you so much, Krystal.

I haven’t made a top in years so I’m watching this as a refresher and girl I’m absolutely IN AWE with how you do the entire cup with no stitch marker!! My attention span is far too short to remember to put the three sc in the top every time without one 🥲
If your larger chested start with a smaller chain, I'm in E cup and I chained 8 to start so I could get a wider cup without it being ridiculously tall!

I made this too in sage green and white and the tutorial was amazing. It was my first ever time crocheting and I was able to complete to top thanks to the easy instructions. Unfortunately tho I made the cups too big and it doesn’t fit me right so I can’t wear it. If u do this make sure to figure out the sizing

Don’t do your tail like this and leave only an inch. Give yourself at least 4 to 6” tail so you can weave it in. Pretty top.

I never leave 4" but I at least make sure I have 2". She made hers so short that it was making me nervous😭
I always give myself WAY to long of a tail but I just keep the extra for stuffing my amigurumi projects

For the busty gals: I'm a 40D and I used 20 stitches for the cup instead of 12. I probs could have done 24 for more coverage but I'm wearing this top over a tshirt so I'm covered
Did you change the straps? I've got serious doubts about them holding up lol
@@lemonn_tineee668 I just made them longer. The strap are pretty sturdy and they're holding up well so far👍🏼
38 C I did 14 but it took like 13 "rows"... 4 dbc back stitch (for design mostly)

It is SO cute, but when I tried making the cups it didn't look right? Where it's 3 crochets in one "loop", it makes holes? I've tried to crochet lighter and a little harder on separate tries, but no matter pressure they still makes very visible holes. I don't see any on your project! 😩

There will always be holes there, but the best you can do is crochet a little tighter in that area. Hope this helps!

Would using a single or half double crochet be a way to make the straps slightly thicker without looking odd? Rather than going back on the chain with slip stiches x

How do you make it so that it doesn't have holes everywhere but it's smooth like rhat cuz i started making a cup but it already is like very see through
I would either go down a hook size or crochet tighter as you go! Helps for me

I understand your confusion and was really scared I ahd made a mistake ! But yea it doesn't really make a difference which is all that matters honestly. Just wished she would have acknowledged its supposed to be different on the other side so beginners would feel reassured

It would definitely work with any number of colours, I've made one where I change the colour every second row. I just cut the wool every time I change the colour and weave it in the hide the ends

What if u cut off the two ends to the cups ?
I did this also by accident, I just unravled the cup a bit back and then I switched from the cut-off part of the yarn to the new, still attached yarn, the same way you switch colours (for a bit of help you can seek a tutorial about what to do if you run out of yarn)
