i have noticed that both of the helmets i have owned over the yesrs were heavy. especially ifyou have a roll off kit or tear offs maybe a go pro. weight reduction important. magnetic cheeek pads awesome i would love those so much. especially if the forehead would come out too would be awesome
I have to get the lightest helmet I can because of an old neck injury. I wanted a Klim but they didnt have my size for me to try on so I went with the Fly Formula Carbon. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Lightweight and very comfortable. Only thing about the Alpinestars helmets I'm not the biggest fan of is how easily the visor pops off. I understand that it's a safety feature of the helmet, but I do think it pops off a little too easy IMO. We saw Jett get his knocked off from roost in outdoors this year. I'm being super picky because aside from that, I have no complaints about the helmet. I also don't have a lot of time in one so I'd be sure to ready rider reviews on our site. - Chase
I have a fly formula carbon…. If you wear it with fly goggles it works great. If you wear 100 percent goggles the helmet pushes the goggles down and smashes your nose.

Helmets are definitely a personal preference especially when it comes to fit I love Arai they just fit my head the best

Yeah Bell should have a model in between the cost of an MX-9 MIPS and Moto-9. Maybe an MX-9 with more ventilation and lighter weight.

Klim now has a F5 helmet that is DOT blessed. It costs $200.00 more.
