You are so smart to go lighter; I say that because a friend of mine told me the darker shades were aging on me. I have never forgot that every time I go to purchase lipstick and liner.
Hi Lisa, sorry for the late response. This comment just showed up for me, but it says you sent it 5 days ago. I'm glad you liked the video, I was impressed with drugstore lip products made for mature skin. That's a good find!
Hello and welcome! I'm so happy you found my channel and are enjoying the content! I'd love to know how you like these lip products. The Maybelline Lifter Liner is my new go-to.
Both combos are really nice. I really love the lifter liners and the yummy glosses I have lots of them. To the north across the border not gloomy today but think tomorrow the monsoons 🌧️ arrive Happy Friday 😀🇨🇦
Love, love, love your recommendations! I’m a huge fan of those Lifter Liners too….they’re stunning! And I can relate to your gloomy weather….I live in Vancouver, WA. Definitely a great time to play with beautiful makeup even though the weather is rainy! 💜❤️🩷
I wish I had found the Lifter Liners sooner, they're so good! What is your favorite color? if you live in Vancouver, you know how rainy and cold it was in WA this weekend. :)
@ My favorite shades are Big Lift and Line Leader. Both are very neutral and go with almost any lipstick. BTW…looks like the Pacific NW is in for some crazy rain for the next 10 days! I honestly don’t mind it so much though, because I grew up in Phoenix where it was always hot as hell! Lol!
@@donnavilhauer9014 I wanted Big Lift but it was sold out. It looks like the perfect nude shade for my skin tone. I spent 10 years in Orange County so I know what you mean by loving a change in weather LOL!
The best way to start if you're new, is hold a pencil, or q-tip, between your lips and line the upper and lower lip just outside your natural lip line. The pencil keeps you from lining the corners. Use the liner to fill in the lip part but don't line the corners. I hope that makes sense. Start with a nude liner, or one that really closely matches your natural lip shade to help hide any mistakes that are sure to happen when you first start doing it. If you make a mistake, just wipe it off and start over :) #yougotthis

Hi Doris, I noticed that same thing with darker nail colors. My hands looked older with darker nails. (and they don't need any help looking older!) 😂
I am always here for the drugstore dupe!!!
Me too, and these are as good as any lux lip liners I've tried!
Great video! Love love love this!!
Thanks! The Mayblline liner and Covergirl gloss has a nice variety of shades so you can mix and match without breaking the budget!
Hey Jodi! I loved this video! These shades look fabulous on you. I’m going to try them. Thanks for sharing!❤

The ColourPop duo is on my list now!
It was cold but sunny here in New England today. Brrrrr....
The packaging alone makes you smile! Stay warm my friend, our weather is cold but you guys take it to a new level. 😂
Love the lip liner
Thank you!
Hello, I am so happy to have find you! You look so beaudiful, i love them both, I am going shopping!

Hi Jan, I hope you made it through the rainy weekend and had a chance to get your 4 legged friend out for minute.
I need to get the lip gloss and the color pop set.
The packaging on the ColourPop set is adorable, and the products are impressive too.
I love both recommendations, I so wish I could get Colourpop here in the uk, I'm missing out on their lip products :( stay warm Jodi 🤗💗
Hello Dawn! Fingers crossed Colourpop comes to the UK some day. If you like a little bling, the Covergirl Gloss is a good one!
@@JodiMannes I'll check them out, thank you.
Beautiful lip combos! Thanks for sharing 😊
Hello! How are you doing? I love seeing you pop up in the comments. Glad you enjoyed the video.

You are great! and you make me laugh! :)
Thank you so much for the kind compliment. I'm glad you have a fun place to come to on the internet!
This makes me want to try doing my lips, lining the lip makes me a little nervous...do you outline the entire outer lip? I've never used lip liner.😟

Beautiful 💜🇨🇦💜
Thanks, Diane!
How about some swatches on your hand? Kind of hard to see it on your lips.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll do both next time!
