      Fixed games are geared to be slow. Often times I try to go against the grain and try to do the opposite of what everybody else is doing. You are better off creating action than waiting to be attacked / or making you and your territories so undesirable (going Zero card/ no continents, away from boarders) . Being aggressive with a purpose or completely passive should create more action on conservative players. My frequency of long fixed games has dwindled and I find my self in the top two of most outcomes. My goal is to survive then maybe win. ☝️❤️

      Theoretically, if the game is a stalemate with four players or more, you'll always have one or two players who are weaker and who can be eliminated by one of the stronger players without breaking the balance of the game. The tricky thing is when you have three players, in which case I think two players need to gang up on the third player, especially the Australian player, so that it can move to a 1v1. You need to judge your opponents though because if you sense they're going to break the balance of the game then you want to be on their good side or as far away from them as possible when they decide to suicide on someone.

      @@williammonk1020 the thing is for example if 1 player has 200 troops and 2 players have 300 one of the 300 can't kill 200 without ending up with ~100 and the other guy still 300

    I had a game when I accidentally captured Asia and had Australia, I realized what I did and since no one attacked me I just gained 14 troops per turn and fortified the borders all game then made a power move and won, Asia strategy at a good time is an easy win, the video shows a good example of this!....

    Awesome play again! Could u tell me what should i do if i have all of my territories in different continents? Now i am beginner rank player but i try to climb up and playing every day 2-3 games but it is hard to win some cases. When i win is always when i have territories next to each other or just near each other and try to conquer a continent (in fixed cards). Always attack once in a turn but i dunno how to win more. Can u help me or making a video when u have a bad situation and having all of ur troops in different places?

    • @Risk4Ever
      @Risk4Ever  5 років тому +7

      Thanks! If you have troops in different continents, then watch what other players do. Go for the continent where none of the players put troops in (however never go for Asia). Well, if other players don't let you to have any continent then just start putting all of your troops in one big army and wait for a good opportunity - sometimes players are weakening themselves so much by attacking each other, so you will have a chance to take a continent from a very weak player. I might do a video as well, I hope my tips were helpful 👍

      2 cents... don’t be afraid to pass on a card early in a game . When I’m spread out with no content control patience is key. By not taking a card you are less threatening and you can allow others to make mistakes while keeping the integrity of your foundation. Try playing completely passive and watch how gaining only 3 troops per turn can be similar to those who occupy continents. Content controllers tend to fight more and expand depleting there troops at a higher rate. When forced into a passive roll, take advantage by fighting for undesirable location and wait for your opponents to expose themselves.

      I call it turtling just start piling troops into one army. If im low on troops ill pass on cards and let others just do my work. Too big to want to attack but not big enough to be a threat and then when someone makes a mistake you make your move and take a country

    Nice game!
    Do you find that lower ranked players tend to gang up on you? When I first got to expert I noticed lower ranked players acted very different compared to when I was an intermediate or lower, and would almost always team up against me. Players would even make suicidal moves early in the game just to try to screw me over. When I got to master this became exponentially worse. I still manage to win more often than not, but it's always a struggle. Do you have any strategies for dealing with lower ranked players teaming up on you?

    • @Risk4Ever
      @Risk4Ever  5 років тому +10

      Thanks! I definitely feel more pressure from lower rank players, especially then I'm being at grandmaster rank. Well, if I see that players are ganging up on me then I just combine all of my troops in one territory and stop attacking anything at all. Sometimes even move this my big army to a neutral territorry like somewhere in Asia. So eventually players are leaving me alone and starting to fight between each other. Well, if you play with novice rank players then this strategy could not work, simply because most of them take alliances too seriously, also keep in mind that low rank players are low players because they don't know how to play good and make a lot of mistakes, this is why they can't rank up, so don't expect them to be as good as you are. So probably the best tip would be that when you're hosting the game then simply set expert as mininum rank and you won't need to deal with low ranked players. I hope I was able to help you somehow 👍

    Isn‘t it obvious that yellow went out, because every time someone goes crazy like that in my game, I check up on em and they’ve left the game, that‘s when a bot takes over, and it starts a rampage on everyone.

    • @Risk4Ever
      @Risk4Ever  5 років тому +2

      The yellow player only left at 11:24 All of his previous crazy attacks were made by himself. As you can see when a real player attacks then there are white arrows. And when a bot attacks then there are not white arrows. So it's not necessarily to check if a player is inactive or not. I'm not the best at explaining but hopefully it helps

    • @gardockis.playground
      @gardockis.playground 5 років тому +1

      How to beat cheaters... it’s possible. 1. Create games instead of joining and be selective on who joined . 2. Don’t allow alliances 3. Always spectorate the game and report cheaters.5. Turn off the rank games. I find non ranked games are just as rewarding and more realistic. Rankings are silly when no money is on the line. We all know the rank doesn’t make you a better player . If you are cheating to say you are a Grandmaster you are probably not very good to begin with. Putting in the time to learn, having fun, and taking on new challenges is what the game is about. ☝️❤️

      Will _ Fosho, if that s your goal , get that rank. My poker background tells me the less info your opponent has about you the more of advantage you have. To me a Novice Rank with over a 1000 hours of experience is more dangerous than a Grandmaster. Personally I like to look at my troops survival rate. If I kill more than I’m am killed and I can continue to create more troops than lost, statistically I know I’m improving as a player. Side note : Today day I defeated my 100th human player and earns my achievement Goal of the week. My wife wouldn’t understand the joy of doing so and I had to tell someone. ☝️❤️

Then when it seems like it's a stalemate, I keep increasing my army to 100-ish and will "scare" the enemy at the border by placing every troop there. This will cause the enemy to expose its other border and opening it to the other enemy.
      Also I was holding only 1 continent same as the other enemy while the 3rd enemy has 4 continent. I ended up winning.

    • @Risk4Ever
      @Risk4Ever  4 роки тому

      You get troops by holding continents: 2 for Australia or South America, 3 for Africa, 5 for North America or Europe, 7 for Asia. Also from trading in sets: from 4 to 10 troops depending of the set you have if it's fixed cards; or if it's progressive when the value of sets increases gradually: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 and so on adding 5 troops on every traded in set until 60. Also having more territories gives you more troops too: 4 troops for 12 territories, 5 troops for 15, 6 for 18 and so on.
