Congratulations, you should definitely look into Adro for the body kit. They currently have the best aerodynamically sound body kit that look great as well.

Need to keep this episode as I picked mine up yesterday, no bows on bonnet but carbon sets are tres beau. The ZF auto is perfect but manual makes me so connected and prefer it for that reason. Hill starts east with the hold system - perfect ( and same comments I. The colour - was a bit scared but now ecstatic at how good in looks out if the showroom and the weekend match's with F1 at Zandvoort ! That's for taking the time to prepare this ! Will see if you modify - not sure I want to rush that - so much power and balance as stock M version with Michelins

You get a lot more sound in low revs in Sport Plus, sounds great with the windows down without being over the top, fun factor goes way up when you get past 2000km and can rev it out

I don't mean to hate but I find it kind of funny and strange that someone who I thought was a legit "car guy" would actually find this design good and bought it instead of so many other cars in the market lol. But! my opinion does not matter because the beauty is in the eye of the beholder haha. Congrats tho!

I am sorry to disappoint. This is the best value under $100k with German quality and engineering. It’s a great platform to mod and this is what appealed to me.
Ideally a 911 GTS will replace this in the future. Until then, I am going to enjoy the M2 😃 it’s been so much fun already.

I have the F22 platform one and I just can't even force myself to like this design. After seeing all the new 3,2,5series I am finally considering to switch to an audi or a used porsche. I'm sure the new M2 is fun as hell to drive tho. It's just that I don't want to support BMW anymore if they're gonna troll us with their designs like this haha (again, to my eyes lol).

Excellent choice.! Got my alpine white 6 speed manual delivered to my home 3 days ago, and I was blown away at how great looking this car is in person! Can’t wait to get to 1200 miles to do proper driving :)

For me the M2 is a project car. I think it’s daily drivable car with lots of power and a manual.
Compared to the RS5, I think it has better comfort features that make it a better daily. And the Quattro makes it better for all seasons.
The GT3RS is a full on track car for the roads and only driven on weekends.

How could you get that 50 years anniversary badge? Is it possible that we can ask them to put it on while we build it for 2024 models?
There is not option to spec this in the configurator. This was changed after the car arrived. BMW parts carry then and you can swap it out
interesting that you've been missing a manual. For me it's the exact opposite. Been driving manual BMW past 15 years and I'm tired of stirring around the stick. I'm picking up my new 6 GT automatic this Friday
Maybe I am getting there too as I get older 😅
But currently I am enjoying the act of towing through the gears. As a daily maybe not so much. 😂

@@brandonscotland1730 I don't have insights on the long beach blue. But its certain they will have new colors once the mexican factory onboards the special colors.
Also would it not be better to trade in and get some of those tax savings. Unless off course you are able to fetch significantly more $$ selling privately.
@thedevthing I haven't weighed the pros and cons yet of private vs dealer sale, the fk8 had seriously good resale value a bit ago, but I think it's normalized a touch.. definitely need to look into it

I am not sure i fully agree with it. If the German cars are spec’d correctly, it’s so much better in quality than the Toyota and Nissan’s similar offerings. I say this from and overall aesthetics.
I am ski like that the German cars are rust proofed at the factory.
One could argue that Toyota motors live longer. I don’t have much knowledge other than what I have read and perceive.
This is a long debate and I am sure there are pros and cons to either brand. I just prefer German engineering over the others at this stage in my life.

This bothered me at first. But then I realized the benefits of east access in NA. Quality control is still based on BMW checklists, so I am not worried about it at all. 😃😅😅😃🙌
