I just recently found you through your boba content, and I've been binge watching all of your videos since! I love your energy, and it's nice to see representation on social media! (I'm Chinese as well :D) I think my favorite spot is any place with noodles, especially niu rou mian, or any dim sum place with xiao lom baos. (That's super broad but OH WELL EHEHEH)

There’s also a place called Hunan house which is nearby one of the tourist merch places you went to they offer a $9 lunch meal. It comes with your choice of entree, 2 scoops of rice, a side of soup AND a milk tea or lemon tea!!! All that for $9 literally my favorite lunch place to go to :D

Seeing your videos makes me think of my family in SF, where I go every summer since growing up. When I visit, food is always a focus, so your videos are a great escape when I miss my family. Yes!!! SF Chinatown!!!!! I rarely get to go there and I live in SF. My favorite place to eat at is Dol Ho restuarant. I've been going there since i was a kid.

Yes, more food tours please. It’s fun to see where you go and gives me ideas where to try next. I used to go to SF Chinatown all the time as a kid because my grandparents lived close too. Now I live farther away and it’s harder to go there
I've noticed in a lot of your recent vids the lapel mic audio mainly comes out of one ear which makes it kinda hard to listen to. Like in my right ear its really loud but in my left its pretty soft and muffled??? Just an FYI. Gr8 food

i lived in the Bay area in the mid 90's when i was stationed over in Alameda. SF china town was so different back then, but literally 2/3 of the places you went to were around back then and i have eaten and loved them all. one day i will go back there.

They shoul've put "sauerkraut " on top of that hotdog because that's a NYC thing since I grew up there ( I know all about eating hotdogs with those toppings). You can try it yourself at home. :)

I still remember i-Cafe used to call Lucky Cafe back in the day. My dad would wait for me there during his lunch break and meet up with me and my mom. But that was many, many years ago. Glad to see the bakery is still there.

❤️ SF Chinatown. A must for me, is the historic Far East Cafe on Grant.
My earliest experience as a kid in the 70s was there.
Chinatown was once my standard Saturday walk about and exploring tour for over a year, well over 32 years ago. I quickly preferred Stockton over Grant though both have plenty of gems.
My favorite restaurant ever with at least one of the Ladies standing tall is, Lucky Creation, veg Chinese. Large gluten combination, eggplant in the bb sauce clay pot. Side of rice, plenty of sambal oelek [for me]. With my former friends, we ate very well there many times.
That's my number one in SF's Chinatown.
For Chongqing xiaomian I highly recommended Yu noodle in Cupertino. Coming from Chongqing, I can voucher that their noodles taste super authentic

My Mom used to love making the trek all the way to Chinatown from her home near Lake Merced to shop because the produce was the freshest in Chinatown.
Just moved to the bay area will definitely go explore Chinatown
And part 3 too! 😂🙏 There’s so many great places. You should check out Capital restaurant salt pepper chicken wings, Dim Sum Bistro, R&G lounge for their fried salt pepper Dungeness crab! Little Swan Bakery cafe looks good too, but I’ve never been.
Napoleon Super Bakery is the best for egg tarts. Not only is it good, the price is excellent and it's actually open.
Have you tried the baked scallion bun at Good Mong Kok?
What about a BBQ Pork bun episode?
The sausage in the bun is essentially texan kolaches :) I love them!
