One of the main reasons I love the ‘Actors On Actors’ series is not because it reveals what’s behind the curtain, but rather highlights what great actors bring to us and to the art of acting; the meaning and impact it can have on us. Sometimes a reflection of the zeitgeist , sometimes something that can shape thinking and feeling on practically anything. Great acting has social utility. These two folks are a perfect example of this. And talk about DEDICATION to their art. Just fantastic. Thank you to them, and the producers of this series. 🙏
It does not reveal what's behind the curtain really, I mean in 40 minutes not, but it does introduce the audience to their real personas it's hard sometimes to tell how much of a character they are playing ir is it really them.

They hold up the mirror to the times, break conventions, and sometimes even shift our thoughts and emotions. Social impact? No question. Dedication? Off the charts. I dont understand why ppl are complaining about this, this is the most fun ive seen ppl have on here, becuz they’re actual friends who know each other. Yes, part of the charm of these interviews is unique unexpected pairings, but that also often makes it super formal, and imo sometimes full of just very polite small-talk and the sort of adult disingenuous business conversation, where ppl are overly flattering always and sort of superficially nice. Maybe thats crude to say but i think we all recognise that. Bradley just immediately has the funniest possible reaction, and usually one that I wasn't even aware was an option. The man is just effortlessly hilarious. It's something about his enthusiasm and wonder and sort of general good intent.
I love how they talk about themselves but then always brings the convo back to something the other is doing/did and how their experiences connect. Not to mention their chemistry is absolutely hilarious
IDGAF what the producers were thinking, these two can cut up on camera all day long and I'll watch it. That's a genuine friendship that absolutely spreads its warmth to everyone who sees it. Great process discussions as well on the sidelines of some great hijinks.

Bradley just immediately has the funniest possible reaction, and usually one that I wasn't even aware was an option. The man is just effortlessly hilarious. It's something about his enthusiasm and wonder and sort of general good intent.
While I agree Emma and Gosling would have been powerful, this duo is JUST as iconic!!

I think Bradley Cooper is one of the hardestworking actors in Hollywood and it's great how far he has become. The world of movies needs ambition like he has and it's crazy that he was already nominated for 9 Oscars and he's even still in his 40s.
