Is there a better way to view the motion event recordings? When I click on message center to look back at alarm events, it shows when there was a recording, but when I click to view it, it takes me to the current view.
I have tried to view from the “playback” option since I have an SD card inserted, but it’s a really confusing timeline, with no time stamps.
Any help/guidance in figuring this out would be appreciated

It is just pinch to zoom on your tablet or phone.

it should be just like a phone. pinch out to zoom in and pinch in to zoom out. works for me.

To record I have to have my phone on all night it doesn't automatically record by itself.. anyone else have this problem? I can't use my phone for anything else when it's recording once I click out from the app it stop recording.

I don't think so unless you have a mac and there is an app for the mac that I'm not aware of.

Yes it can. I have two of these one on each side yard and the app has a multi view where you can see all of the camera videos at the same time.

All of these cameras seem to be side mounted...can this be mounted vertically under an over hand or would the view/pan etc not be right?
These are basically wall mounts but you could get it done with a 90 degree DIY bracket.

I bought the camera off Amazon last year, the picture quality wasn’t good and when the temperature reached 0c the pan and tilt stopped working and will point straight down. I returned it to Amazon

It is good that this model is not like that. An additional question, if the SD card becomes full, the camera automatically replaces the old videos with the new ones or does the recording just stop working?

yes that is correct. it will over write the existing older videos with the new video.
you can also view up to 4 cameras at the same time.

be sure you wifi connection its in 2.4 ghz wifi not in 5ghz wireless lan. this its the problem .
Great video, thank you. My camera is working ok, but when ever it settles in or goes home it always faces the wall or backwards. I want it to point at a specific spot, (a gate) so when it does its tracking it always goes back to the original place. Any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately, that is how most of these security cameras behave with tracking.
I simply don’t use tracking myself to avoid it.

It didn't come with one. It's powered by AC connection.

The problem I'm seeing with all the cameras I've looked at so far is "download our app" "connect to your smart phone" etc. These cameras aren't just going to a dedicated screen like an old TV monitor or something. Their going to internet connected devices which means god only knows who else beside you is looking through that camera.

I’m having issues talking to the camera via the app. Seems to have communications issues but signal is 84%. Any ideas? Is my wifi network/router maybe the issue?
most often it is the wifi signal strength. Mine works great now that I upgraded my router.

I had issues with all my wifi security cameras since adding the 8th or the 9th one with everyone using the internet but I upgraded to a gigabit router and it is all good. I now have a total of 12 wifi security cameras one of which is on a wifi repeater since it is the furthest away from the house.
if you also use SD instead of HD, it is a lot smoother.
I have the same issue, if I put HD quality it opens once then it never opens again,
Shows network error or "loading streaming" and never opens. I have upgraded my Internet from 50 to 100 Mbps, I bought a new WiFi router from Huawei, I put an 4k SD card, I changed app settings so never sleeps and all access and this shitty camera never works on HD. This is a bad product, if you buy an HD device you must be able to use it as HD, not to have to use it on SD quality. This is a bad purchase.

you can set it to infrared night vision to on or auto but the white lights will still turn on when motion is detected.

I have now more than 10 wifi security cameras of different make and models around the house and they were all giving me some issues before but now upgrading the router to a gigabit router I have no issues with any of them.

hello Everyone. while there are several cool features about this camera, such as quality and 2way audio, and tilting, there are a couple of major flaws that make it very much useless as a security camera. I bought them last month and at first, I was impressed but then these issues happened:
1. I put a 64gb fast micro sd card in there. Set it to record continuously. Yes next morning only recorded for the first 6bhours of the day. The issue was that apparently, you can not have motion alert and recording. Motion alert interrupts the recording
2. And this is a huge deal breaker. If you think You can take the sd card and put it in your PC, you are wrong. You can not play back the recordings in the computer. Because the format is not playable. Only viewable in the app. This is a huge problem. Imagine you need to give the recording to police. Well you can not with this camera

It doesn't work, on smart life app open once then if you close it it shows you a network error or "loading streaming" but never loads!!! . It is annoying and frustrating. I have contacted smart life and Dragon touch support and still the same, don't buy it!
I have 100 Mbps of download and 35 Mbps of upload, a new router from Huawei with better signal, a fast 4k SD Card. But these things don't seem to work with this shitty camera. I have spent several hours and days, I found that my phone was putting the app on "sleep", I changed it, worked once and then again, If I open the app and try to see the camera it shows the error, network or loading. Never buy this.
