- Hello Designers,
Often when we import 3d models from sketch up to Dialux Evo. The scaling is too large.
So this tutorial will help you know the reason for increased size of models and how to fix it.
From now on the I will include 1 pro tip or fact on lighting design or Dialux Evo.
Watch the video till the end so that you dont miss the PRO TIP
If you have any queries please feel to write in comments.
Thank you - Наука та технологія
You are amaizing I'm an Electrical engineer working with lightning design and I am assuring that your video is really useful and made my day
Thank you:) am glad to know that you found the tutorials helpful. Keep exploring lighting industry. Cheers!
Thank you for sharing these valuable tips. Regards from Spain!
Glad it was helpful!

that was a great help .. thank you ..
My pleasure :)

Hi Sumaiya..
I am from Bangladesh..
Thank you so much for making tutorial on Dialux EVO...
I am a beginner and I want to be expert on Lighting design, Your video is really helpful.
Can I use built in 3d project of buildings from Audesk Revit, Maya, CAD etc? If so, please make a video on that and explain the lighting design and calculation.
Hi,
Yes we can import 3d models from Revit , CAD and sketch up. But we need to make sure the file size of 3d models is not too much.
Yes, I will make tutorial on this topic :)
thanks for this informative video ,could you please let me know the meaning of polygon here.
Every polygon is formed by at least three vertices and edges coming together to create a closed shape. And group of such polygons make a 3d model
Nice thank you. BUT is it possible to create a room or a building at sketchup and bring it inside Dialux for lighting analysis or only simple objects ?
To run the calculation, you will need spaces / workplane created in Dialux Evo. Unfortunately you cant create space on imported 3d room, but can only place workplane. Which also kind of tricky. So its better to construct rooms in Dx itself.
Is there a specific formula that I work with in the Dalex Evo so that the construction is ready?
no there's no such specific formulas as of now in Dialux Evo
So please tell me
How to dialux evo file to lumion11
Its not possible this step at moment. But lets see if Dx includes this in future!
