but tavalo from Artemide is table/floor lamp right? Will that not effect the lighting calculation? If we are using it for chandelier?

Hi Ana, I used the tavalo, because it has almost similar beam with typical E27 led bulb on round frosted glass diffuser, same size with supposed customized round diffuser and adjusted the lumen output. the tavalo it's actually a multipurpose lamp, for table or floor. As for chandeliers this is not advisable as the dimension of this light is not appropriate for that purpose, use the exact 3ds file of the chandelier and use the exact IES file of the bulb.

how can we connect the suspended fixtures to the ceiling. After importing and placing the luminaire for suspended lightings, I cannot see the cable or tube connecting that to the ceiling. Not from sketchup. Iam talking about ies or ldt files .How to do that

Hi Shamsiya, just use cylinder object, probably resize it into thin rod size, imagine a pendant lamp, wiith suspended rod and use cylinder object for the suspended rod shape and attach it on top of the pendant lamp. I hope you are imagining what am thinking atm. I cant attach a pic into this comment box
