  • Hello Designers!
This tutorial is about steps to drastically reduce sketchup file size to import the exported 3d models in Dialux Evo.
Often we import sketchup models in Dialux Evo.But the heavy 3d model file size adds to overall Dialux File and working on Dialux becomes difficult. Here are few steps to deal with this problem.
I hope that this will save your lots of time.

Thanks for video but can you try 3ds file import in dialux only and export 3d model in m3d format.
As per my experience exporting 3ds file to m3d format that is very helpful in dialux evo. Like reduce calculation time texture also comes good.
Please try and kindly suggest it's helpful or not?

Yes, we can import to Dialux and then export to .m3d models. But still in this process too, we need to export sketchup models to 3ds models, for that the steps in tutorial can be helpful :)
Often the export of high mb and high poly sketchup models will take time, purging it and reducing the poly size can save time in exporting.
