Hi, The Dicrossus in this video are maculatus (spadetail) instead of filamentosus. But nice to see the natural habitat of the Tapajos angelfish and the Dicrossus. Cheers
I'm sure they have the camera in a good spot, but that sure is crowded! Why do Angels have such vertically high body and fins? They have to duck all the time.
freshwater angelfish have a shape that does not easily fit into a predator's mouth. they are relatively slow moving, and they normally hide among tree branches and around foliage such and water lily stems to avoid being eaten. thus the shape.
I really enjoyed to see this footage ... please what the name of the green appearance tetra fish ?
At the time of the video I wasn't very interested in tetras, and so I didn't try to identify the type of this species, sorry
@@hekornamentalfish It is just fine for me under water like your video looks magical 🙂
@@Gabriel-qh5yv Thanks😊
Still curious...where's the orange head tapajos geophagus?
The only time you see Altum angels on the move like that? Is in habitat or the Lisbon 60,000 gallon aquarium. Makes you think.
Stan TheObserver , in my vídeo is P . Scalares , not P. Altum , Altum is from Colombia and Peru , Orinoco River

So cool.
Tetra species might be bleeding hearts, or a related species.
