Unleashed and Generations are the highlights of the franchise when it comes to the boost gameplay. Generations is the best starting point IMO to get a taste of both Classic and modern sonic. The shadow story is now said to be either the same length as generations or just a bit shorter. This game has so much rich lore for shadow and everything surrounding him. That is what really is attracting the fans hype and the gameplay is the new abilities and the boss fights. Sure ya can wait on it for a sale but you wont get the cool pre order bonuses and later will have to pay for the DLC which includes the sonic movie 3 level. Personally, from the first announcement I was skeptical since gens didn't need a remastered when other games in the franchise badly do. It makes sense tho marketing and money wise to help promote the third movie with this. I still have my 360 copy of gens working and I always come back to it so really the shadow story is what needed to for me to buy it. Im getting it day and its my most hyped game of the year.
You know it’s weird, I haven’t been this excited for a Sonic game since Sonic Mania and before that I don’t even really know. As crappy as some or many of the Sonic games have been in the franchise, I loved Sonic Heroes growing up and some of the concepts that Sonic 06 had like the music and Mephiles as a villain, but the execution for gameplay was severely flawed in execution. A few other Sonic games I enjoy and actually dabbled in Shadow the Hedgehog but never really beat it but I know enough about the character to understand the backstory and motives as well as Black Doom’s significance. If anything Shadow’s emphasis on Sonic X Shadow Generations rekindled the flames of me being more of a Shadow fan than I had originally thought I was. And from what I’ve seen I’ve really had no major complaints at all, so seems like a banger game for me to get.

I've been a HUGE Sonic fan since my childhood I have Sonic Generations on PS3 what is one of the BEST Sonic games of all time so i'm really EXCITED for Sonic X Shadow Generations a Remaster of Sonic Generations, but there's Shadow's story and playable character what's so AWESOME! I wanted to Shadow have a classic mini version just like a classic Sonic that would be so CUTE! Sonic is easily one of my FAVOURITE video game franchises of all time and Shadow is the BEST Sonic character I've always wanted to play Shadow the Hedgehog game, but don't have a Gamecube or the game on the PS2 so i'm glad there's Shdaow's story in the game too! 2024 is a GREAT year for Sonic fans because there came a new Sonic Rumble Fall Guys like mobile game, Sonic X Shadow Generations is coming that I really will pre-order before two weeks ao now's the time for it, Sonic movie 3 and this is Fearless year of Shdaow! I don't like the idea Shadow have weapons like in it's own game and Doomed Demon powered Shadow looks so cool to be honest, but Shadow would be powerful without any weapons or extra powers I know I will play a lot more as Shadow than Sonic or a classic Sonic in this game, but I need to try all of them. About of Sonic remakes or remasters can we never get Sonic Heroes or Sonic Unleashed remasters too that would be so AWESOME defienitily Sonic Heroes! Same here man, I remember growing up coming home Fridays from school hoping to have no homework so I could spend the majority of the weekend playing Sonic Heroes on the GameCube. I really home that game comes back. 😭🙏
@@frozone-yeahbro i played heroes first then i played adventure 1 right after this like 2005-6 bro then i played shadow the hedgehog and i thought they were the best games ever made, honestly still kinda do even though 2 of those games are considered “bad” but man metal overlord is so damn sick and so is black doom

Well this one I was definitely going to get straight up after it got announced since I play the original Sonic Generations back on the good old Xbox 360 days and been awhile with this remastered included Shadow in it and play this on the PlayStation this time for me still look great I will be preorder this very soon as it release close to my birthday so perfect timing honestly still excited here
you only get the adventure skin and teiros for pre ordering and also getting the deluxe edition so to me honestly both are worth it to me. seeing those in game for the first time ever and the other in 20+ years man its worth it to me
