- We now have a total of five new confirmed zones along with presumably two boss fights and two rival fights in Sonic X Shadow Generations... but what more could they add? Well, here are my FINAL zone and boss predictions for Shadow Generations!

I think mephiles will be a boss fight, not a rival fight, and the rival fights will be emerl, sonic and infinite
Sonic is a definite, I hope to see infinite as a boss fight if not hopefully a rival fight, either way it'd be badass to see him again

@livraizon There isn't one really aside from the name. They function the same way, you fight a character and gain a chaos emerald when you beat them.
I completely agree with you on this , I do think there's a chance infinite might be a boss fight but I wouldn't be suprized if he's a rival fight
Sonic is definitely one and Emerl has a high chance of being one or who knows maybe he's the 2nd playable character granted I know the 2nd character on the website doesn't mean it will definitely be a playable one
My biggest wish wouldve been for Lava Shelter from Shadow 05 to make a reappearance, but with Bullet Station already being a rail-heavy level and Chaos Island being a lava stage, it doesnt seem likely :,)

If don’t think super shadow will be in the game because modern and classic sonic have the emeralds. Unless they have you collect master emerald shards instead of chaos emeralds or maybe even the sol emeralds.

I don't think the last boss will be Knight. Hear me out. In Sonic Generations, all the bosses except Egg Dragoon were Final Bosses and even though Egg Dragoon was from Sonic Unleashed, it wasn't a boss in Rooftop Run. I feel the same could apply for Shadow. The two bosses we have seen so far are Final Bosses of a previous Sonic Game. The next boss could be someone with the potential to be a final boss but not necessarily, and it would be in a distinct level or setting from a previous Sonic Game. I can see the Third boss being either Supreme, Iblis or even the Death Egg Robot from Sonic Forces, but I highly doubt it's gonna be Knight. I'm so confident I could bet on it.
If there will be a third boss. I think the highest possibility is that is will be Iblis Phase 3. Though I can definitely see Shadow Using the doom wings to fight Supreme. If it is supreme, they will redeem him

Putting movie Shadow in Sonic X Shadow Generations looks super cool and I love it. Keanu voicing Shadow in the game is super sick. Can’t wait to play this game!
Sega has been clowning on Lost World. It along with Mania and Superstars are the only mainline games not represented in Generations. I wouldn't mind a Lost World stage.

I think each stage is supposed to tie to shadows story and history
Ark for many reasons
Bullet station for shadow android
Kingdom valley where he first met mephilis
Sunset heights a few things but very likely where he and infinite first met
Chaos island is unknown but very likely has a story reason
So i imagine unleshsed and colors would be much harder to figure out a story reason
And probably Black Comet for Black Doom
I don't see Unleashed or Colours being in it as I don't know what the story implications would be
For chaos island i suppose that the ancient and the black arms could be related in some way since those two are aliens

Gotta agree that Asteroid coaster is the perfect choice for a Sonic Colors stage in Shadow Generations,it would be awesome if that was the case.
And also I won't mind a Sonic lost world stage to be honest, it would be funny to see one of the stages suddenly become all dark and destroyed

Honestly I'd say lost world and mania have a genuine chance since they are between forces and colors. I'd say sea bottom seuge, sky road, frozen factory, titanic Monarch or Mirage Saloon all have a genuine chance. Oh and speed jungle or what ever who really cares about Superstars 💀

Infinite is a character that I believe does deserve to return and could be more interesting compared to his own game. Bro has more beef with Shadow compared to Sonic, it'd make sense for Infinite to show him what his worth amounted to
Yeah it make no sense why Infinite would beef with Sonic in Sonic Forces when Shadow was the one that made him feel bad.
I'm honestly surprised that nobody expected the Shadow DLC to part of the movies. The date of the movie and dlc aligned perfectly, like I knew it would from the movies solely of the dates.
@@RandomGamer368 I knew we'd get a movie 3 level and skin as part of the deluxe edition. We need to be realistic here the reason this generations remaster with an all new story mode (which feels similar to how Nintendo did mario 3D world plus bowser's fury) dedicated to shadow exists for one purpose only, to drum up hype for movie 3 because of shadow being the main focus there. This game solely exists to ride on the coat tails of the 3rd movie.

Another reason why a black comet level would be perfect for a final level is usage of the doom powers. Final haunt uses a lot of the flying hawk thing which can be replaced with the doom wing. Black comet relies on hover saucers which could be replaced with doom surf. And the last way uses a lot of chaos control to make it through the level. Also I would really like to see shrouded forest from black knight in Shadow Gens.

Coincidentally enough I had the same thoughts yesterday about Dragon Road and Asteroid Coaster possibly being in the game and filling the gap between 06 and Forces, so here's my final stages/rivals/bosses prediction list:

The Black Comet would a great final stage for Shadow Generations, as the comet is where Shadow learns the truth about the eclipse Cannon's purpose and where he fights Devil Doom as Super Shadow.
actually i have two level ideas for Shadow Generations, one for Lost World and one for Superstars.
for superstars i say either Golden Palace or Cyber Station i feel like these could fit with Shadow well and provide a nice contrast to the levels we have in Shadow Gens also it's nice Superstars representation.
As for Lost world I'm tied between two levels Silent Forest and Sky Road again, Silent forest because of it's eerie vibe and Dragon road for it's contrast to the other Shadow Gens stages.
as for bosses I'm confident that we're gonna see Infinite as a boss not just because of Mephiles confirmation but also because each level featured in Shadow Generations has a boss return with the levels. Space Colony Ark returns with Biolizard, Bullet Station returns with Metal Overlord, Kingdom Valley Returns with Mephiles, so it makes perfect sense that Infinite would return with Sunset heights.
now i do believe the same with Chaos Island but i don't know if Knight would the boss to return honestly i wouldn't be surprised if The End Returns in Shadow Generations because each boss that returns in Shadow Gens only has to meet the requirements of that "they have to be from the same game as the stage" not that "they have to be the boss from the same stage" so honestly they could bring The End back easily.
as for new bosses for my two level predictions i would say Zavok (or the entirety of The Deadly six) and The Fang Mech or The Black Dragon, also Emerl totally has a shot to be a rival fight or the mysterious fourth playable character in SXSG
I am not sure if I totally agree with Unleashed and Colours being here, mainly for story reasons
Chaos Island is probably there to establish more lore about the ancients/the black arms, but I dont know if the same can be said for the other 2 games.
I also belive that Mephiles is NOT the rival fight and is the boss, and instead Emerl is the rival fight. I don't see us fighting Knight, mainly because he had no connection to the titan (thought the same could be said about Chaos Island 😅), and it would make more sense in my eyes

I don't think Knight should be a boss. Having Chaos Island is enough of a Frontiers representation, and Knight is a boss that even Super Sonic struggled against. Having it as a regular boss for Shadow to beat not only makes Knight and Super Sonic seem weaker, but makes Shadow seem much stronger than he realistically should be, Doom Powers or not.
I also hope for Knight but I recently saw a comment of someone wanting Supreme where both Shadow and the boss using their wings. Supreme never used its wings to its potential after all.
For future DLC ideas, Boom Shadow with a level in Lyric’s fortress. And Lancelot Shadow with a level in Deep Woods or the Castle where Merlina showed her true self.
Yea. The last way/black comet/Final haunt deserves to be the final level but for the sonf that should be remixed. I think that the last way should get a remix cause I like that more then the other songs for the black comet level.

I think Mephiles would be a boss fight instead, while Silver will be one of the rivals.
We still haven't seen a single level of shadow game yet, and i don't think they would forget to add a level of the game that is the debut of black doom

Some people forget that Shadow Gens is (allegedly) a smaller game than Sonic Gens. What we’ve seen is probably what we’ll get, minus the final boss (infinite dlc necessary though).

- hopefully there is a sonic lost world stage. i think it'd be weird to include frontiers & forces and somehow not include lost world.
- i actually kinda want the wyvern fight because i think the doom wings would go crazy there, but i understand knight because wyvern is a parry fight and shadow doesn't have that (as far as we know)
- i would actually choose cool ice for unleashed, but dragon road is kinda hype too
biggest thing: i don't really know if there will be 2 acts per zone. based on gameplay footage of kingdom valley, it seems to go through everything it can even ending at the mach speed section. feels like they use too much in one level to make a second act
I think titans in frontiers shouldn't be included in shadow generations because shadow wouldn't stand a chance against them without chaos emeralds and sonics are collecting them

Sonic Generations (2011) was a waste. Imagine how much more content this game could have had back then. SEGA could have created a DLC package with levels and bosses from previous games. I hope SEGA can keep this game alive for a long time, just like Bandai does with DBX2. It’s very unlikely to happen, but I can imagine how cool and surprising it would be at the same time.

I don't think there will be Rival Fights tbh, they've stated the game has less content so it's likely it'll have 5 bosses as opposed to the 6 of base Gens. As for Zones, I think we've seen all we're gonna get aside from a likely Black Comet or Westopolis. A theory I have is that since Radical Highway is, well, a highway that it'll be shown to connect Central City and Westopolis, so that way in the city sections we can represent both cities and the iconic first zone for Shadow's character in one area. And that way they can easily do remixes of Radical Highway, Central City, and Westopolis, maybe even Lethal Highway.
Infinite's totally coming though, that's for sure. They won't skip on him. I still don't think Sonic is going to be a fight though, I think it's an opening cutscene or recap.
I feel like because Shadow Generations does the whole "act one - 3D/2D meanwhile act two - pure 2D" thing that the original Sonic Generations does that there would probably be four rival fights as a whole.

On one hand, I think that they’re showing off too much stuff prior to the release. On the other hand, I think they feel pressured to show off as much as possible, to convince people that just because it’s a short 5 hour bonus campaign, doesn’t mean that it was lazily thrown together; they cooked!
I hope we get no stages from Unleashed or especially Colors. I hope the only game Shadow wasn’t in that gets a stage is Frontiers with Chaos Island.
I hope we get another 06 stage. Flame Core is the one I wanted, but Chaos Island is too similar. I’m hoping for either White Acropolis, or Aquatic Base. From Shadow the Hedgehog, Sky Troops, and Lava Shelter.
I’d personally love to see Eggmanland from Sonic Unleashed, Asteroid Coaster from Sonic Colors like you said, and Lava Mountain if we’re getting a Lost World stage (plus the Black Comet of course)
As far as the “post-Generations era” boss, I think Supreme is more likely if they go with a Titan, mostly because they can finally fix the wing problem he had, have you chase him around the island like Wyvern, and also because Supreme is the weakest Titan, so Shadow taking it down in base form would be most believable (and also it would fit with the trend Generations has of picking final/endgame bosses)
Oh and they can actually have him USE HIS FREAKING GUN

It's odd that every game represented has a boss except Forces and Frontiers. We know of 5 stages and 4 bosses (excluding Black Doom, because he's likely Final Boss part 1), and the 4 bosses accompany the first 3 stages (Sonic and Biolizard are both from SA2). So I think the game will be played in this order: ARK, Biolizard, Rail Canyon, Neo Metal, Kingdom Valley, Mephiles, Sunset Heights, Infinite, Chaos Island, Sonic (he was the only thing in that game Shadow has a connection too, plus I think he would make a cool penultimate boss), Black Comet (or some other ShTH stage), Black Doom which transitions into a fight against the Doom Egg (my guess at the name). The main issue is that Emerl isn't on this list, but I think he deserves a spot.
I think Infinite should return as Sonic Forces did him dirty, so hopefully a redemption for that character. Also, Knight would be a sick fight if it was implemented. I was thinking of Heavy Dog/Blue Falcon, but one of them got revealed in the Dark Beginnings trailer.
I also hope we fight those Death Egg Robots (the mass produced versions from Sonic Forces)...It's so dumb that we never actually fought them in Forces, despite the fact they were used to advertise the game.

I don't think Knight will be the titan fight that they go with, if they go with a titan at all, with both Sonic and Shadow generations there is only one fight that takes place in an environment that's also a level, those being Silver in Crisis city and the Biolizard in Space Colony ARK (I guess you could also count Sonic's rival fight in Shadow Gens because that also takes place on the ARK but that's just a product of that being where the fight takes place in Sonic's half). That's why I think we'll actually see Wyvern instead, not to mention the fact that Wyvern follows more closely to the template of boost Sonic boss design.
Okay, having a battle against any of the Titans would definitely be wild.
And I think they're really saving some Shadow The Hedgehog stage for the end, being Shadow's own game, they couldn't leave that out.

If there's no level from ShTH, that be a major conspiracy. As much as I believed it would Prison Island, I think it should be Final Haunt.
Also, I thought about it, I feel like if this game came out before the introduction of DLC, the movie stage would have been REALLY cool as a secret level, it kinda has that vibe

That city level problem you mentioned is why I personally would’ve preferred if they used Mortar Canyon instead of Sunset heights for Forces.

I don’t think we will have rival fights in this game. Notice how every villain we’ve seen in this game is related to one zone, space colony has biolizard, rail canyon has metal overlord, and kingdom valley has mephilis. I think instead of rival and boss fights, we just get a boss fight per zone so we’d have infinite for sunset heights and for chaos island… thats up in the air.
I also thought they were going to include arid sands from unleashed and asteroid coaster from colors but those levels
A.Havent been shown before frontiers and forces which is strange because they came before them
B.Dont really have a boss to fight against shadow with (maybe shadow could fight dark guardian and skullian but again those are iffy options)
C.Makes the game at the same length as sonic generations when Izuka said it was going to be shorter
I would gladly take them giving us more levels but i think this is as much as they are gonna give us which is still awesome since every act is gonna be around 3 and 1/2 minutes long and we have 2 per zone but maybe we’d get them as dlc? They did say seasonal pass so maybe we could get additional levels from other games after the movie level pack like a storybook based level pack or a boost game level pack.
(I would LOVE to see shadow go on leviathan ruin or skeleton dome and shrouded forest it would go SO HARD)
I have a thought of, what about new levels for Sonic Generations for DLC? It's a no brainer since people have been asking for it since, day 1 since the original came out. There is a billion different ways they can go for this, but let me think of some things. 1. The levels from Sonic Generations DS that are not apart of Sonic or Shadow Generations, like Mushroom Hill. I think the original levels from Sonic Mania and levels from Sonic Superstars would be cool, like Press Garden and Speed Jungle. I think Movie Sonic as a skin and a level would be cool, that one is a stretch but if Shadow Generations has Movie Shadow and Keanu, then Sonic can. Also if someone completes Sonic Generations 100 percent, they reward is Modern and Classic Sonic with a Burger King Crown because a why lot and as a reference to Sonic Frontiers, also the same thing goes with Shadow Generations too.

Do u think emerl would be a rival fight? I mean we saw him in dark beginnings, and I think that if infinite is a boss, he would talk place in luminous forest/mystic jungle, it takes place at night and I love the whole casino in a forest. Just a theory 😁
I'd like to see Angel Island from the past where Gerald discovers the mural of Super Sonic and the emeralds. We don't have a level from Sonic 3 between both games and this could be a way for Shadow to interact with Classic Sonic
I am almost 100% certain we’re getting Black Comet as the final stage, the doom powers are practically made for that stage. Instead of the saucer where we fly over the goo/acid which is a central part of the stage we use the Doom Surf and it’s the same thing with the flying doom creatures that Shadow rides, we use the Doom wings instead!
Capped off with present day Sonic showing up to support shadow as they go up against a final hazard Devil doom super fight as the ark crashes. One more time. Live and learn.
In Shadow Generations, I wanna see White Jungle, Gun Fortress, Final Fortress, Black Comet and Dusty Dessert as the stages in the game. I wanna see Infinite as a boss fight. I hope that Sonic Generations remastered will be indeed remastered in Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Something from Black Knight with a Lancelot skin would make for a great second DLC stage.

I think were getting our expectations too high if we are getting more levels they havent shown its probably just the final level

Small detail everyone missed on the Movie Level(s), the Shadow skin uses the older shoes model, look at the side part of the shoes, they are all white while the newest (seen in the Sonic 3 Trailer) have a small black part on them, this may indicate this showcase is a very old demo and not the current state of level pack, just a theory
I think it's been confirmed by Iizuka that there will be no levels from colors and lost world in shadow generations.

I think that Metropolis in Forces is in the game cause if we see in the PS5 trailer we see Shadow going down a big blue tunnel that looks a lot from Metropolis from forces and the Avatar Fights Infinite in Metropolis so it might be possible that we get to fight infinite in Metropolis

I feel like dragon road is also quite similar to kingdom valley aesthetic-wise, so even if I would prefer dragon road I think cool edge or arid sands is more likely.
I feel like there won't be another announced stage, maybe just a final level that will be unrevealed until launch like black comet as they said it would be shorter than gens.
