About fucking time. These were supposed to be in service two years ago
Can't wait for them to be in service 😩
Glad for speeding at least 135 MPH like Amtrak Regional, but I don't want the arrows to phase out. I want both of them babies running.
The Arrow’s won’t be phased out all at once, the replacement would be more gradual. At one point you’ll see NJT using both the Arrow’s and the Multilevel III’s at the same time, similar to how the NYC MTA’s (7) line used to run R62A’s alongside the R188’s.
Septa needs to look into these
Nice! That’s awesome to see these being tested! 👍
Glad you like them!
Wow that’s cool they have the pantographs on em and everything
I know right, it's basically a huge EMU! It'll look so weird without the ALP-46 🤭
Is that an NJT cab car behind the Multilevel III coach?
Yes
@@cryorig_transit05None of the cars with an operator’s cab are actually powered, only some of the trailer cars are powered. This means that those are still just cab cars. I know it sounds odd but it’s true.
I thought it was Bombardier?
I’m pretty excited to see these on the Gladstone branch very soon
If they ever go on the NEC, I will be stoked 👀
whos ur pfp?

@@S4b_3r ohhhh, i was wondering y it looked like tsukihime.
The Multilevel III will replace aging Arrow III cars from the 70's. When it will be delivered to New Jersey Transit's property?
Late 2024
Okay, it works in the shed. Let's see it on the main.
Hoping all goes well 🤞
@@cryorig_transit05 I remember the Arrow 2s and 3s coming online. This will be the end of the line for them but it's been quite the run.
@@maestromecanico597 Yup, for sure! Still running on the Dinky and strong! It's awesome
@@cryorig_transit05 So what shall become of the “Dinky?” To the best of my knowledge the new power car won’t come with cabs.
@@maestromecanico597 Not sure tbh, we'll have to see in the future
Wow so they're coming with Multilevel EMU's? I guess these will replace the Arrows?
Yup, Multilevel EMUs! Replacement wise, I'm pretty sure they are
When will this be released?
I heard these will replace the Arrow III cars from the 70’s.
I think njt should do some expanded electrification to run these new emu's in more places
JEEZ I always wonder when are they going to build them
Forgot these were under construction
Oh hell naw this isn’t good. Arrow 3’s gonna be gone after these go in service :/
@@NSandBNSFrailfanProductions Best to cherish it while we can
Cool but the Arrow iiis are better
