  • Hey Everyone!
    Thank you for watching our video about medical school! If you enjoyed our medical school videos, please leave a comment below, like our videos, and please SUBSCRIBE to the channel!
    About Us:
    Mad Medicine was started to talk about many aspects of medicine, from medical school and premed, to nursing, PA, NP and much, much more. On our channel, we sit down and talk about relevant medical topics, issues that many medical professionals are facing, ways to be successful through your education and career, and (again) much, much more.
    We started this channel as medical students in medical school in order to help premeds get into the medical schools of their choice. Whether you want to got to medical school in Harvard, or to a local medical school, we try to provide you with the best video content that will help you achieve your goal. Our medical school trips to become a medical student have to pertain to questions such as, "Do you need research for medical school?", "Is Clinical Experience required for medical school" and much much more. Along with medical school tips and tricks, we also plan to provide you guys with videos that have to do with medical school requirements, medical school rankings, how to be a medical student, as well as fun (yet informative) sessions. Who knows, maybe we will even do medical school and medical student vlogs one day!
    We are always looking for ways to grow our channel so if you ever have any ideas or want us to talk about specific topics, or heck, even if you have a guest you want us to talk to, leave a comment below! Thank you for the support!

      Thank you! i was looking for this comment, it would have sufficed to mention that they have these beliefs but to shit on them just because one doesn’t believe in them is offensive to the people with the disorder and people practicing spirituality!

    Hi man! thanks for great way of explaining. Just wondering , the way you explain Schizotypat is so different to how other do it. They say people that suffer from this don't enjoy close relationships and you're saying they have a fear of isolation ?

    Very informative. One criticism I would give to your teaching style is that in an attempt to us humour you end up saying jokes that disrespect the people you are speaking of. It is important when discussing personality disorders to not be making fun of them, especially when these people are likely going to be the future clients of those who are learning about them. Clients wish to trust and not think they are being laughed at behind their back by the industry who claims to want to help them.

      @@holembac Yes, topics should be made interesting in a way that does not compromise the dignity of the presenter or those on whom a presentation is about. I gave my opinion based on how I received the presentation. As you can see, my comment was mostly positive. One should be able to receive both constructive criticism as well as compliments. If my criticism was wrong, then no harm done. If it was correct, then he might learn from the feedback of his viewers.

      As a schizoid, we don't mind much. And the description is mostly just the exterior expression of the schizoid; get our trust and you'll see.
      My issue was defining us as antisocial, which can't be more wrong; we are asocial. Antisocial are those who oppose societal norms, and get something of a benefit from the opposition. Schizoids, we love community, on, and only on, our terms.

    • @100Denario
      @100Denario 2 роки тому

      I had the exact same thought and feel thee exact same way about it. Increasing stigma surrounding mental health disease furthers it and calling people odd or weird for their affliction is cruel and ignorant. You can tell by the tone of his voice he’s smug and inexperienced. If he had a loved one or was close with someone who had or is going through this, he would shut his mouth.
      “It is no measure of success to be well adapted to profoundly sick society”
      -Krishnamurti
      Abnormal personality types are often those more sensitive and more aware. Women were called histrionic for reacting to deep patriarchy and rule of thumb culture. Black people were called schizoid for being uncommunicative underneath Jim Crow when doing so could have been life threatening. Kids become mute as speaking out against their abusers could land them in foster care, with someone even worse.
      This person who made this video is disgusting in his ignorance and he will learn many hard lessons in the years to come.
