I think all the time about flowers that don’t wilt and brown so quickly, a home that feels eternally cozy (and never gets dirty) and gardening in a world not fallen. I make that vinegar too - but add other nutrient-dense greens to turn it into a supplement: nettles, violet, chickweed. It could easily become a tasty oxymel (+ honey) too. Mmmm!

We ve had summer here since early March
I’m loving every hot second of it
Our summer squash is almost done! I couldn’t believe it. It’s barely planted up in the Arctic I lived in, western NY.
And summer won’t stop till midOct THEN fall is till Dec. Winter is a myth here lol they think it’s cold and even snowed once but by midFeb winter is over.
So very cool to see how the seasons differ all around the country! Enjoy your long hot summer 😃❤

Haha no it actually wasn't the deer! Our gardens are fenced off from their access. We saw the groundhog helping himself with our own eyes!

I would having deer on the menu. However, the bonus of living in the high desert is the deer stay in the higher elevations. Only rabbits bother us and our well made, enclosed garden is too much trouble for them to bother. Heheh....
