Baby Scottish Wild Birds Being Silly and Eating Seeds

A number of baby, or adolescent wild birds feeding. It’s unsurprising so many are picked off between fledging and becoming fully grown, as it takes them quite some time to become coordinated and learn to be aware of their surroundings. Adult birds would be reluctant to sit out in the open like the birds in this video. I also often see the babies trying to eat things that aren’t food, much like human babies I suppose, haha! This video features blue tits, siskins and a young robin that’s just starting to get its red breast.
