Up the camp dog! Speaking of “industry standard techniques”, you might get away with the old “mega hone 5000” where you just hone the bore until the marks are gone and send it 😂😂
Hey Matt .. Where do you get the uprated springs from... Keep up the dodginess.. Just add a couple ugga duggas and it will be fine... BTW I'm in Barbados so I'll have to order online...
I ran a mantic replacement clutch at around that power for a long time with no issues, only upgraded to the Xtreme clutch when we started to do powerskids
@@gabrielmarin4593 I cant say check a forum. I have a 4E-FE Which stock has a 200mm flywheel/clutch I then upgraded to the 212mm 4EFE Light Flywheel and then the 212mm Exedy clutch fits etc.
@@920400706 i thought there was a 210mm and 212mm? Didnt know about the 200mm. Would you happen to know what a USDM 95 tercel with a 5efe came with? I know the aisin part # for the oem clutch is ckt-008. I assumed a turbo 4e clutch would be designed to handle more than a stock 5e clutch but idk. Im planning in changing my clutch and resurfacing my flywheel soon but if i end up doing a stock bottom end small turbo set up im not gonna want to change the clutch once again. Id rather do it once
Trying to ask you some questions about building a 4efe cause I destroyed my 5e trying to rebuild it. Since you have a vast knowledge about what not to do and what can be done I want to ask you some questions
@@Camp_Dogs currently I took the head of the 4efe to the machine shop about 2 months ago skimmed it to get it back flat or even fitted a new original headgasket , used back the head bolts , running a honda program ( honda ECU, distributor and map sensor). Everything was going good got it tuned and was driving then about 3 weeks ago overtaking a car, I heard the engine sound like a Subaru engine. It cut the head gasket between cylinder 1 and 2. My question is what would cause it to do that?
@@Camp_Dogs second question before that happened I was getting some blue smoke when I accelerated then it got worst. It started smoking when I was at idle. Should I necessary have to go fix the piston rings in the bottom half (cause I destroyed my crank shaft last time rebuilding) or I can just change the valve stem seals because after pulling of the head I saw oil on the intake and exhaust valves in cylinder one. I honestly can't afford to rebuild the bottom half of the engine again because I bought the 4efe second hand from someone.
It's funny how the 4efte still holds the fastest record of the e series motors
Greatest UA-cam intro ever!🤣
The camp dog’s gonna make 400
Throw some 1NZ pistons in ! Seen alot of the boys in Asia doing it, or D15 pistons. Only need to mod the Rod small end.
these ones are forged... ive heard about the 1NZ ones though, great idea :)
Plenty of life left in that block I reckon hahaha
Buck Joe Fiden!

cam we fix it !!! yes we cam !!! lol send it
Have you guys ever tried using the 5efhe cams ? Heard they are a good stock cam to use
They are a tiny bit better. Not worth what people are wanting for them though
@matt berry what clutch would you recommend a small turbo set up on a daily driver? Need something reliable for up to 150whp at most
I ran a mantic replacement clutch at around that power for a long time with no issues, only upgraded to the Xtreme clutch when we started to do powerskids
The Exedy standard OEM Clutch will be more than enough for 150 whp its rated to 190hp and wont break the bank too.
@@920400706 is the exedy standard clutch the same on the 5efe and 4efte?

Why not increase the bore
New pistons $$$
I sent ya a message on Instagram about some engine proofing and transmission option.
why do you think its better to build 4e than 5e?
4e has more stock horsepower, 5e can handle more boost
4e are very easy to find, 5e are hard and getting crazy expensive...
@@Camp_Dogs my tercel came stock with the 5e. Which years came out with the 4e?
Hows the Turbine wheel looking?
definitely need to check that lol
