Loved your video! Maybe for a second video you should include Shannon Miller's switch leap (C) + back handspring 1/4 turn (C) (I find it really gorgeous)
The emphasis on flexibility is much less that in the past, would love to see more, like the scale after the cartwheel. And the sheep jump is missed as well!
Lots of Chinese gymnasts do the Front Aerial (D) + Split Ring Jump (D) + BHS/Korbut (B). They could easily change the last element to a Rulfova and maybe even remove another D or E element elsewhere, like the Switch Ring Leap
@@johnboyzan3304almost any balance skills are non existent as well. Like the handstand skills that used to be required, don't get me wrong doing anything on a balance beam takes balance but it has become nothing more than tumbling on a the beam.
Tbh the balance beam today has very little to do with showing the gymnast balance. I mean doing anything on the beam requires balance but there's very few skills that are done anymore that showcase the woman's ability like the old handstand skills and the interesting mounts that used to be done. By lowering the scores on so many skills they have taken away so much of the freedom of creativity that gymnasts used to have in their routines to set them apart from their competitors. Now it's the same few elements done by all of them on every event.
That first skill combo is beautiful.
Correction : Alina Kozih is an ukranian gymnast :)
My bad 😩 Thank you so much!
Last one was my favorite
It's definitely a round off lol. Not a cartwheel to two feet. Right?

Thank you! I will! Good choice 😊😊

I wish gymnasts world perform the rulfova again. The only one I see performing is Vera Van Pol.I liked the last combo

Jessica Gadirova does a Rulfova
Any full twisting acro skill’s are almost non existent these days unfortunately

Thank you❤
the Preziosa should be directly a E element, not a d+a, and Liukin is only C? should be D
So cool!
There’s this chinese gymnast years ago did the Aerial walkover + arabian and Gabby’s aerial walkover and “back with a full” (queue Tim’s voice 😝)
Great combos indeed! But I did a video on those already & they’re not mixed sequences 😬
I can’t understand what’s different about Aerial Catweel both feet(D) and Aerial round off both feet(E)?? Could someone please tell me??
Isn't the Liukin supposed to land on one leg while the other one is doing an Arabesque ????
"Supposedly" yes. But arabesque-type skills have been removed from the Code, so they gave Nastia credit for a skill she never even performed.... 🤡
@@gymnasticsmasterclass Oh thanks, FIG is ridiculous as always 😓
Liukin is c??😮
The rebound rule is ridiculous.
Alina Kozich is Ukrainian not Russian

Isn’t aerial landing with 2 feet an “E”?
No, maybe you’re thinking about a Barani (take-off from both feet)
@@gymnasticsmasterclass oh, ty
@@MthegymqueenIt was an E in the past but is now downgraded to a D which is a shame.
