Thanks, Mitch! I've been using your videos to help me maintain my 2007 Burgman 400 for many years now (I bought it new). I'll definitely throw a donation your way. You've saved my wallet and my sanity. You are the MAN.
I have replaced throttle body and sensors, pricy! Still not running right. Ordered a fuel pump, waiting on it. Hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks for asking.

Good job Mitch. That is a fly by wire system consisting of a Throttle actuator control (TAC) and Throttle position sensor (TPS).By removing it and cycling the key, you were able to have it re calibrate itself. Most automobiles do it every time you cycle the key. Some need a scan tool. The ECM calibrates it by feeling the load of increased amperage when plate stops all the way open then it cycles closed and detects the same. The number one issue causing that is sticky dirt holding plate closed so it grabs during key cycle and goes haywire. 2nd is internal issues or slightly loose connector terminals. Keep up the great work. I have 2013 PCX 150 but I want a Burgman and a Helix. I am watching all your videos. Thank You
My fuel problem is on going, change the fuel pump found the filter broken apart and debri in pump. The 2011 ran much better but still no full throttle. will replace what next?.
Mitch, this is my first time needing some help with my 2007 Burgman 400, with the same FI warning light and low power. I will give your understandable fix a try on my ride. Thank you so much man!!! You are one very entertaining dude! Have a great day!! Tom K Wisconsin
I have a 2008 an400 and when I used the screwdriver like you did to turn the actuator it’s spring loaded so it doesn’t adjust so I just opened the valve all the way like you did and reinstalled the actuator a little off the paint marking alignment like you did at the end of the video and it worked!!! FI code is off and throttle power is back to full power!!! Thanks so much Mitch .... you da man!
Thank you for this one! Finally got my '07 back on the road. Had to park her because of this miserable C28 code, then some major surgery kept me off the road for a couple of years. Sucked out the old gas, put fresh in, and she started up like a champ, but of course... the FI light. Spent an hour yesterday afternoon, followed your steps, and FI is gone! The hardest part was getting the air hose off of the thing! Looking forward to spending time in the Burgie again.
God bless you, Mitch! Thanks to your video I solved the problem, at least for now, and I saved 400 euro Suzuki asked me to fix the issue! Very appreciated! Angelo
Najbliższy to 110 km w Szczecinie. Pozdrawiam : Adam.
Przeczyścili całą instalację elektryczną i to miało pomóc ?
As always... Awesome stuff Mitch! I just repaired my 08' B-man as-per your vid. When I turned the screwdriver clockwise the stva's spring made it return to the same position. I did everything else you did and moved it until the "noise", backed off a hair, then tightened it. After a couple tries I finally got it working properly. Many Thanks!
Pretty good video overall. I have a different bike but this could be enormously helpful. All of these tips come in handy sooner or later. It is a demonstration of intuitive repair shop moxy and that is cool. Thanks Mitch!
I wanted to see you go up the dirt road you tried to climb at the start. Your an advertising genius I watched the whole show waiting. lol. God bless son.
Man, thank you so much ! 🙏✌️ I had this C28 problem on my Burgman 400, I followed all your video and now the problem is solved, FI light is now off and no longer weird STVA noise when i put the ignition. Thank you so much, big up from France 🇫🇷
The f1 problem showed up again, one year after I did you video solution. I checked all the parameters and I realized that if you inject lubricate (WD40) to the intake port and then do again what you do to your video the problem will be disappeared again. 👍
I don't know why I didn't think of asking you sooner... I just bought a 2011 Burgman 650 ex. If I can't stop the clutch from slipping I am coming to ask you questions. Thanks for your videos. Love them
Thats a good fix, I was thinking that there was some dirt on the flap stopping it from moving. I'm guessing that the ECU re-learns the positions for the flap so putting the actuator back at a different position won't affect it too much.
Thanks Mitch I'll give this ago I temporarily removed the plug for it and left the butterfly open top power really good but no doubt fueling is affected. I will follow this with interest to see if your bike keeps going.
Thank you! My fl light started coming on last year. I could get it to go away by restarting usually. But it finally stayed on. Your fix worked! Thank you!
Great video Mitch. Just for your information, that F1 light is actually an FI light and stands for Fault indicator. I really like the look of the Bergman and I’m tempted by the 200cc model. It would be just enough to get me to work comfortably. Ride safe
Hi Mitch! Thank you thank you thank you so much! I’m from Italy - Sardinia. I have solved the FI problem! Great! mechanical workshop told me it was more expansive to repair the scooter: it’s about 300euro! But your video saved me! Thanks a lot!
Hi Mitch I just had the exact same problem, just - it already was moved around 3 mm from the green mark, i moved it so it was alligning.... BUM - problem solved. Took me 5 minutes. Greetings from Denmark.
Extremely insightful video. The process is definitely restoring power to my 400 burg. But it is remains only temporary. Power is restored when the bike starts. I’m still seeking to find the right sport before or bejjj in BD the green marks- dave
Wooooowww. Dear Mitch you really help me to save money with your great experience and very good tutorial!!!!! I'll try it this week. Thank you so much for you big support. Greattings from México 🇲🇽 Me and my burgman an400 2007 appreciate 👍😂😂😂🏆🏆🏍️🏍️
When I turn in clockwise direction (3:04) the sensor turn back in the initial position, and I can`t assembly the STP sensor in the right position. I tried every thing, including disassemble STVA to find a way to reinstall the STP, but nothing... Someone can help me?
Thank you Mitch. I had the problem of the secondary fuel filter, after 5000 rpm doesn't work. I desassemble all the fuel pump, fix the fuel filter problem and clean the throttle body by ultrasonic laudry, but i made a mistake when i assemble electric stuff of the throttle body....and F1 light appear....thank you to help me to solve the problem...
Dear Mitch, I think I saw 55,000 miles on your odometer, was it at about that mileage that the problem appeared ? If I'm not mistaken, the actuator part # is 13580-14G01-000 and costs around 140$US, has anyone on here fitted a new part and did that fix the problem ? Thanks, Chris in Brazil.
These videos are great Mitch. I hope Suzuki have you on a retainer! I just wondered, you said you turned the screw clockwise with a flat-headed screwdriver. But how far? 90 degreees? all the way? etc?
Hi there. I guess you made the "TPS setting" just playing with the screwdriver, but the procedure need to be a little bit more accurate. By the way you soved, and this is good.
Hi Mitch, I have suzuki burgman 200, year 2015. I have a problem with overcharge problem. My I know, where the regtifier position is? And is it possible replace the original regtifier with other brand with the same load, such as regtifier of honda tiger or kawasaki? Thank you Mitch.. GBU
Great video. Thank you. So I checked mine out with the FI light on and the value when moved to the closed position will cycle to fully open when the key is turned on. When at fully open it just judders and stays there. When the engine is turned on it doesn’t move at all from the fully open position. It’s like it will only move in one direction. Does anyone have any ideas? I tried everything in this video and no change sadly. Thank you
Mine loses power sometimes, but no FI light, just can't get it past 5000 rpm, if I open the throttle, engine slows down - do you think this will fix it?
I have an F1 code 28 but when i took my air tube off and looked inside my carburetor, i am missing that door and the door way in the back is closed. I think before i brought my 2008 Suzuki Bergman 400 they took it off. Now i really have to get an brand new throttle body

hello budy, how are yiu? i need to know what is going on with my skywave 250 type s suzuki, i am coming on f1 wanted to see previou dissembling the bike to do this test
wish i could get my zx14 2006 and fix it like this but i guess complete throttle body ugh damn... bike sat 2yrs so im not sure if its sticking and needs cleaned but maybe ill see if i can
I have to do this once every few thousand miles. At first the FI light will come on, and the power will still be there. Then as I start the bike the following morning it gets worse and worse in terms of power, until I do this procedure again. Have you put a lot of miles in the bike since this fix and did it fix it for good?

You just saved a old man on the side of the road bless you.

Your videos are far more informative than listening to verbal babble. Thank you so much for your effort.

Mine loses power sometimes, but no FI light, just can't get it past 5000 rpm, if I open the throttle, engine slows down - do you think this will fix it?
Great ! Thank you sir
Anytime!
I have an F1 code 28 but when i took my air tube off and looked inside my carburetor, i am missing that door and the door way in the back is closed. I think before i brought my 2008 Suzuki Bergman 400 they took it off. Now i really have to get an brand new throttle body
Muchas gracias, ya lo he arreglado viendo tu video. Saludos desde España.
Thanks for sharing this video
So if that doesn't work. What happens if it says you should not mess with the idle. And someone did. Is that a problem. Or what should I do.
I cannot stand riding at 53 mph when it used to just get up and jump all the way to 95 like it was sapose to. Now it Boggles down.

I have to do this once every few thousand miles. At first the FI light will come on, and the power will still be there. Then as I start the bike the following morning it gets worse and worse in terms of power, until I do this procedure again. Have you put a lot of miles in the bike since this fix and did it fix it for good?
Oh man, hope it will be fixed forever for you… it never came back to me yet…
Life saver ❤
😊🙌🏼
Very informative video my friend. Thank you. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
