- This is the last song of the month of June, and a song that I end almost every live session with. This is also a family favorite that I have been asked for by family for a long while. Lyrics Below:
Lyrics:
Of all the money that e'er I had
I have spent it in good company
And of all the harm that e'er I've done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me that parting glass
“Good night and joy be with you all”
Of all the comrades that I e'er had
They are sorry for my going away
And of all those sweethearts that I e’re had
They’d have wished me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I shall gently rise and I'll softly call
“Good night and joy be with you all”
A man may drink and not be drunk
A man may fight and not be slain
And a man may court a pretty girl
And perhaps be welcomed back again
But since it has so ought to be
By a time to rise and a time to fall
Come and fill to me the parting glass
“Goodnight and joy be with you all”
Oh Goodnight and joy be with you all
Thank you for Watching!

This is a nice one, everyone can use a moment of calm in the chaotic world we find ourselves in
Alderon Tyron singing "The Parting Glass" is something so amazing that it's beyond hope or expectations.
Best song I’ve heard Good job 👍🏻
Would you possibly consider covering the Missouri Waltz in the future? It's one of my personal favorites and I think it'd fit your voice perfectly! ❤
This tune was the last tune of my last middle school band performance. We had a bagpiper to play with us. This is an amazing rendition
Beautiful song, your vocals paired with the guitar turned out absolutely beautifully
Beautiful.
Nostalgic.
